They rely on travelers due to being close to a major highway. With that being said, they care very little about getting your order right because they know that no one is turning around. Absolutely horrible customer service every time I hav ordered here is it been a headache! Managers can't figure out how to correct their staffs errors when it come to not fulfilling the order to charging the wrong order on the wrong payment info and can't look up mobile orders appropriately. Literally saying they are too busy to fix the order or help the customer out! Mobile order specifically said the order was made at that mcdonalds and the so called manger said "he didn't have time for this". No one else was in the dining room or order at the time this occurred. All management there has been horrible in my experience and now as I have been for many years will refuse to go to this dirty and homeless infested McDonald's. read more

This is the second the second time this has happened to me at this specific McDonald's. I pulled up to the drive in intercom and waited at least 8 minuets before having to drive off. This is the cutest little Mickey D's. From the freeway we saw it and didn't even know it was a McDonalds until getting closer. It is "retro" style but with some new technology. There is a sliding door entry, a jukebox, an Elvis statue, and video games for kids under 13. Its cute. Food is the same as usual. My only annoyance was the parking lot. The restaurant is on like a hill and the parking lot is TEENY and really confusing. For it being one of the only restaurants, especially fast food, in the area I really think it needs better parking. read more

Just don't. Jackie (who must have been a shift lead or something because she was calling out the orders) was such an unprofessional employee screaming, "this is so annoying" for the entire restaurant to hear. Our fries were cold so we told the staff and they seriously almost put the fries back under the heat lamp until they realized I was watching and they ate the fries to make sure they were cold. Then they made us wait for fresh fries which would have been fine except they forgot to replace them completely. They served several customers and the nice cashier had to tell her lazy coworkers again to please replace the fries. Ugh. Went through the drive thru around midnight. The guy working seemed completely out of it. So out of it, that we did not receive one of the burgers we purchased, nor any of our drinks, though our bad, since we didn't even think about it until we were back on the highway. This is the closest McDonald's to my home and every time I go here I order a large fries and I end up with a medium and they are always cold and stale and if you complain they will give you new cold stale fries they also forgot my sons sauce for his nuggets and his apple juice try explaining to a two year old he's not getting apple juice because McDonald's forgot. We don't eat fast food often so on the rare occasions we do I'd like what I pay for and hot food. read more

Compliments to Jasper!!!! After traveling almost 3,000 miles I must say this young gentleman made an impression on me like no other. We were greeted at the door with a smile and a hello. He waited on us, checked to make sure we were happy, said thank you and goodbye when we left. He was so pleasant, and efficient at the same time. He treated all the customers with such a warm and pleasant attitude, it was refreshing. If I had a restaurant I would scoop him up and let him run the show. P.S. Drive thru menu was on breakfast menu at 6:00pm. I had to look at the other lanes menu. When i ordered they told me that the menu from the other lane was an old menu and that they had recently updated the menu so the meal number combos wouldn't match. No menu to look at. I drive to second window where they hand me my bag and walk away without giving me a chance to ask for ketchup. I waited 5 minutes before i opened the window and asked for help. They asked what i needed and handed me ONE ketchup. Fries were soaked in oil, cold and old. NEVER WILL I VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. K bye. read more

While I was in drive thru, "Elaine" who was supposed to be taking my order decided to leave without even actually taking my order. I took a few seconds to ask the rest of my family members what they wanted and she promptly left without giving me any notice. My family and I were left stranded speaking to an unattended monitor for at least 5 minutes until another worker came to take my order. on saturday afternoon april 1 2017, at about 4:30 PM PST, i went through the exit driveway of mcdonalds at 2715 Black Oak Dr, Paso Robles, CA 93446 in my 2015 honda accord 4 door sedan. something scraped the bottom of my car as i exited the driveway. i got out to look and found damage to both the driveway which protrudes several inches at that point and also to my honda's passenger side rocker panel. this was witnessed by my passenger who was with me at the time. i spoke to two managers there with no resolution. my body shop in fremont estimate for damages (dated april 6, 2017) is ~$1619.30. i believe the driveway has previously damaged very many autos as evidenced by the large amount of damage to the driveway. imho this is a public nuisance and potential danger to auto occupants, and mcdonalds should reimburse me for damages in full from something they should realize is a public nuisance and possible danger. an online google photo of black oak paso robles mcdonalds driveway shows the grooves in the driveway apparently caused by contact with and damage to many of their customers' automobile rocker panels: https://www.google.com/maps/place/2715+Black+Oak+Dr,+Paso+Robles,+CA+93446/ This was all made worse by the fact that we never intended to use the drive-thru to begin with, but a sign at the parking lot said to use the drive thru, claiming that the indoor walk-in service restaurant area was closed for remodeling. after the accident i immediately returned to complain and found that the walk-in service counter was, in fact, open for business in contradiction to the sign outside. also, the other side of the exit driveway is being re-landscaped along with the general remodeling, so why not re-grade the problem area of the exit driveway along with the general remodeling? I showed the lady shift manager (whose foot is in the driveway photo) the damage to the exit driveway from the undersides of automobiles hitting the driveway. she took my information and stated that she would pass it to the owners. It has now been 5 full business days since that time, but I have not been contacted by the owner or the mcdonalds corporate office. $1619.30 is a very expensive price to pay for a filet-of-fish sandwich and an apple pie! shame!! Update 5-7-2017: still no contact from this McDonald's franchisee. If this message is still up, then I still have received no contact from the McDonald's Franchisee. Avoid!! Avoid!! Considering there is a huge selection of food available for guests from a variety of vendors staying at expensive hotels just around the corner and a McDonald's based on the original theme, the service was below poor. A hostess through the drive thru paid virtually no attention, a complete "wooden face" when it came to customer service, instead of a cheeseburger I got a chicken sandwich order delivered, all of the order of food was cold within 3 minutes of consumption, in fact I say that the food was probably held overtime. A cashier that offered no napkins and no response other than a grunt. Either the entire group of team members were "away with the pixies" so to speak or there was a zero care factor. Remember people love to tell others of their bad experiences. If I could tell it to a TV or radio audience I would. Finally remember if your Team Members want a better minimum wage, this store is a good argument for not getting it. read more

I live by the Niblick MD...but drive across town. To the 24thst MD for my morning coffee because they always get a perfect cup to me ! Yesterday a man snag the line up with his order ...huge video screen with picture of big breakfast so he pointed to that he want that picture just like that ...server quickly gets his order ...he received order then yells bacon I don't want bacon ...I don't eat bacon and shoos his hands and demands a fresh order ...he treated her like some slave ! I pulled to the window and had to honk my horn several times before I had anybody come to the window. Young man had a extremely horrible attitude and informed me that they closed early. If I could rate this zero stars I definitely would. If I were you I wouldn't step into this McDonald's at all. Workers here are very rude and the food is horrible. I ordered a 20 pc chicken nuggets, fries and a McDouble and the chicken nuggets came out horrible. They tasted so watery like they didn't even right. They didn't even fully cook them right so I had the throw them all away. After eating about 4 my stomach had a really bad pain due to them not being well cooked. How could you charge for extra sauce here!!!? That's ridiculous on how I only get 2 sauces for a 20 pc and a McDouble with a large order of fries. In LA the extra dipping sauce is free!! Overall the food and workers here suck. When I travel pass here I'm gonna make sure not to step into this McDonald's and probably go over to Carl's Jr. which I'm sure they have better service and better food. HELP! On March 30 we stopped by this McDonald's and found the food was the typical McDonald's standard -- the fries were HOT and the drinks cold. The woman at the counter and the two men were clean and neat and appeared glad to see customers. I went back to our car to get my camera as the 50s decor is much more interesting than the average McDonald's. Unfortunately I left my Cannon camera at the free video games (great fun for kids). First off, I know it's fast food...so expect mediocrity. This place took mediocrity to a whole new low. My husband and I used the drive through and ordered a quarter pounder meal, a big Mac meal, and two McChickens. He grabbed our food and we made the mistake of taking off. Our McChickens had a pea sized spot of mayo...kind of like they ran out and didn't want to get a new bottle. We were supposed to get large fries...the containers were large, but only HALF full at best. When my husband said his soda was light, I opened it and he had maybe six ice cubes; my soda was only three quarters full with double his ice. I was in a huge hurry today in town and decided to drive through...again. I ordered the new buttermilk chicken sandwich meal. Once again (I obviously don't learn) a couple of pieces of ice in the soda, half a container of fries, and NO mayo on my sandwich. My husband says if we plan on eating unhealthy go next door to Carl's Jr. They give you all of your fries, mayo, and ice in your drinks. read more

I have to give this McD a 5 stars. We stumbled upon this McD while driving on HW 101 from San Francisco to Disneyland. When we pulled up, I was tickled by the old school facade. We were even more amused when we walked into a 50's inspired decor. The kids loves the arcade station they have. It was definitely a great way to motivate them to eat faster so that they can go play. The food was standard McD menu. But it was prepared very neatly and at the right temperature. Something you don't get in the city. The cashier was very personable and got my order down correctly. Also something you don't get in the city. The dinning area and the restrooms were all very clean. After we left, an hour and a half down on HW 101, my husband realized he left his new phone behind. I called his phone and the manager, Roy, answered the phone. He insured me that the phone is safe and will be kept behind the register for us to pick up. Service and honesty like this is hard to find these days. It definitely does not exist in the city. read more

This is the slowest most incompetent restaurant of any sort I have ever been to. No matter what time of day, or late night. No matter if you are the only person there. No matter if it drive through or dine in/carry out. It's not like you wait forever for fresh hot food. Even after waiting anywhere from 7-15 minutes you end up with the wrong food and what you have is cold and stale. This is the very last time I will attempt to be understanding and try this place. Tonight we went in to eat and I ordered a #1, 2 dblch, and 20 peice nugget. After waiting about 7 minutes and hearing many numbers past mine being called I went up to see what was up. The big Mac and the chicken was there sitting on the tray on the counter. I'm not sure how long it had already been there but figured it would be ready any minute. 5 minutes later I grabbed one of the "workers" and told them half my food had been sitting for atleast 5 minutes and I would not accept everything cold and stale. She then grabbed the nuggets and big Mac and put them under the heat lamp. They went back and forth a few times due to employees not knowing what the hell was going on. Finally another employee came up to start getting the dining orders out. He called 215, 218, 219. I finally yelled at him to fund out about 208 (me). Told him I had been waiting forever and the first part of the order was atleast 15 minutes old. He finally got the fries and dbl cheeseburgers on the tray and just diddnt give a damn about the old food. I pretty much gave up on anything good coming from this. We sat and ate. The tables were sticky and so were the highchairs. Pretty gross actually! And to top it all off the jerks had let the syrup run out on the HiC Orange drink. If you're interested in McDonald's, go to Niblick rd. Much cleaner and no wait time. The food is always fresh! I wish I could give this McDonald's negative stars. read more
