One manager on 4/11 was frustrated and had an attitude. I believe it may have been because they were attempting to fix an order problem. She told us to order on the kiosk and that she couldn't take orders right now. I understood they were busy but, her attitude in her voice made this experience bad she could of been more professional. How can she let a small issue make her upset. Even after ordering I saw another lady spoke to her about her attitude. The manager said "I have no attitude" with an attitude ironic. Stopped here for a pit stop on the way to Houston. First impression was that it was pretty messy... a little concerning. I always wonder about the kitchen cleanliness when visible areas are untidy. Nonetheless, I like the modern look. Super cool verticals subway tile in the restroom. I know some reviewers mentioned rude staff. While we didn't experience rudeness to us, while waiting for our order, I did think the lady at the register wasn't the most friendly to the next customer. My sister and I are on a 4 hour drive back to Houston. We were happy to be passing through this town because they're one of the few McDonald's Advertising they're "Open 24 Hours" and we were in desperate need of coffee. We pulled up, ready to order but no one said anything, all the screens were on. We kept saying "hello" waiting for a response. Assumed they were in the bathroom so waiting a little longer. We finally stopped waiting and pulled around to the first window to a worker with her headset ON (so she probably heard us) and on her phone and then she mouthed "we're closed". I went through the drive thru to pick up something quick for lunch. I got a chicken nugget happy meal. I ate the first nugget it was ok. When I took a bite of the second one it was gritty. When I looked at it and the remaining nuggets, there was dirt and hair on them. After getting sick to my stomach, I threw them out. Not like I could eat them. I notified the branch and the owner called me and wanted to try and act like I was lying since I didn't take any pictures of the food. I didn't ask for a free meal or anything. I was just letting them know this happened. She was upset that I would even say anything like that. Her attitude was accusatory towards me as if I'm the one who did something wrong. I NEVER eat McDonald's food anymore because every McDonald's I've been to has had food that tastes like cardboard. I used to live in ft. Worth btw But I can no longer say that statement is true because this McDonald's has the best burgers and nuggets I've ever had! Absolutely the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. Spent over 25 minutes in the drive thru and did not order anything special. There is something wrong with this place. I asked Jenifer to verify that I had been waiting over 20minutes, which I could prove by my receipt, she said no, its only been 9 minutes which was a big lie on their part. I would prefer to score them zero. Took 15+ minutes to get a coffee and a latte. We attempted to order at the counter, but was told to order from the Kiosk. So we moved over there and completed our order. Then the wait started. The focus was clearly on the drive through. We kept hearing a manager ask "have you made the Latte". The answer kept coming back "no". Finally the manager went and stood by the worker that finally started the latte. The manager brought it to the counter only to realize the cup of coffee had not been fixed. He proceeded to do this himself. It was reiterated by us it was to have two Splenda added. So, as it turned out the manager added cream and no Splenda. And oh by the way, no one else coming in to order at the counter was told to use the Kiosk. It appears the person that told us to go there was ending their shift and was more focused on getting out of the place than on customers. JUST SAY NO TO THE FAIRFIELD McDONALDS. read more

Yes, I would agree the drive thru is slow. We waited a slightly longer time for routine items- happy meals, nuggets, and filet-o-fish. I did ask for a straw for my iced coffee twice but they forgot both times. However, good thing I had extra straws in the car. The positive is that this McDonalds gives regular fries for their happy meals (versus a small sized portion of fries). Their chicken nuggets were solid. Filet of fish was a little bland, with the tartar sauce oozing out on one side. The fries were saltier than usual. Don't waste your time. I often stop at McDonalds to order one of their latte or cappuccino drinks. I have tried this location several times. The first time the machine locked up and needed to be rebooted. I had to pull out of line and wait awhile. They eventually brought me my drink. Today, the machine was in its cleaning cycle and if I wanted the drink it would be an 18 minute wait. I chose tea instead. Don't expect to see me at the Fairfield McDonald's in the future. read more

SLOW - mgmt needs help. Only one order taker at lunch rush, very slow delivery - didn't even have lids stocked. It is new and clean though - no playground if you have kids to worry about. I've had my kid drag me to a lot of McDonald's over the years and while it's cleaner than many the service doesn't measure up. Where to start? I should have waited til I got to Huntsville for food. There were no diaper changing tables in the bathrooms yet they can afford new Dyson hand dryers and the new ordering technology. Speaking of the new ordering service model, this has completely taken away the science of basic in-person customer service. My salad dressing was initially forgotten and my daughter was given 2 sides in her happy meal, neither of which was correct. When I brought it to the attention of the crew member (talking to her friends about what she was doing after work even with a lobby of waiting customers) she finally handed me my correct items without saying a word! No apology. Also there was melting ice on the floor in the beverage area that one of the crew members repeatedly walked through on her way to deliver mobile orders outside. People where nice enough but they sucked at cleaning. EVERY table was dirty and had to ask them to clean one so we could eat. He cleans only our table no other table. Place was empty not busy. Ketchup dispenser did not work. Trash was over flowing I had to leave our trash on our tray in the tray return area because it would not fit in trash. And bathrooms had not been cleaned looked like all day it was 8pm when we where there They had more then enough staff to have cleaned the dining area but they did not only 2 other ppl came in while we ate not once did anyone behind the counter decide to clean but they did go take a smoke break. read more
