1st...I could not dee the menu has it had no changed from the person before me. I ordered a sausage egg mcmuffin & hashbrown. I was shocked it was almost $8.00. There was an employee walking around inside the area you can see from the drive thru window, with baggy pants walking like a nerdy gangster....the lady who took my money & handed me my food did not say a word, had a sour look on her face and rolled her eyes at me. The food.... the hash browns was not done & stone cold. The McMuffin..the egg was almost black around the yolk and tasted horrible. The sausage was just ok. The muffin itself was cold & rubbery. I should have spend a few bucks less & got an egg sausage cheddar sandwich from Starbucks across the street..atleast they heat their precooked food all the way & the way. I will not return to this McDonalds, mostly based on employee conduct & then the poor quality of the over priced food. read more

Ordered at the self serve kiosk but had to pay at counter a voice from the kitchen said be with you in a minute 5 passed before he took the money ... didn't hand out the drink cup and went back into kitchen my kid waited at the counter trying to get cups the man looked at him but didn't acknowledge him almost 10 minutes later foods ready and brought to me ... clerk said did you get the drinks I said no and pointed to my son waiting there and said he's been waiting for you to notice him please give him the cups The dummy brought me a single cup walking right past my son The dude smelled like weed so I guess his brain was out for the morning Horrible experience glad we were driving through if this was my local McDonald's I would eat Burger King instead!!! read more

Never ceases to amaze me how this place stays alive. Ordered with the app about thirty minutes before getting through the drive-through. STILL bumbling around. Probably wouldn't be so critical if the prices were back before they became inflated and the sandwiches became deflated. read more

Had to review this McDonalds with 5 Stars! The staff were great. The whole place, including the rest rooms were so clean and tidy, everyone was happy, the manager sounded caring to his staff. The food was hot and arrived in a timely manner, all the tables were clean. The kids play area looked fun too! read more

We are traveling and appreciated the PlayPlace for all the kids. I do want to say that I read the reviews on the service here and our experience was superb! The employee, Noah, was at the dining room register and he did a perfect job taking our orders. We order pretty specifically and he didn't look at us weird or anything. Brought our middle school track team to eat after the district track meet. The restaurant was short handed and the lobby was packed. Our experience could have gone very differently but the staff was very courteous and worked diligently to complete our orders. Kaleb, especially, showed a level of caring that is uncommon today. He dug into his own wallet to make change during the busiest part of the rush. read more

Recently went through drive-thru after 9pm. Was told it will take extra time since everything needed to be made to order. I got my hopes up. What a disappointment! The fries tasted like they were cooked in motor oil and were barely warm and the Filet-o-Fish's bun had not been steamed (this has been happening consistently). There has been a problem with the filet itself for almost a year. Instead of a homogeneous piece of fish as a filet should be it's now a congealed mass of fish parts that has a lumpy and god-awful texture. They've also started using less tartar sauce and charge 35 cents for extra. To add insult to injury, a Filet-o-Fish now costs $5! read more

Didn't put the egg in the sausage egg McMuffin. Didn't give me syrup for the pancakes. The other sandwich was slapped together. Coffee was not even filled all the way up and lukewarm. I have been going to this McDonald's for a few months, because there are only so many fast food places in town. And this is the worst! My food is almost always cold, the food is always wrong or missing. The lady in the drive thru did not even say anything to me, just opened the window and held out my bag. When I noticed my food was wrong I sat there for a couple minutes and no one even bothered to come back to the window! And it is so expensive! I'm surprised a competing franchisee hasn't snapped up the opportunity to capitalize on this poorly managed location by building a store at the north edge of town. For RV patrons skip pulling off the road as there is no parking in the lot, and getting to the adjoining parking at a discount grocer and theater is a test of whits and navigational skill. read more

McDonalds is like a crap shoot. You'll find a good one and bad ones. This location in Florence is not up to par period. My wife ordered salad with grilled chicken and it definitely did not look like the picture on menu. She ate a few bites and discarded the remainder. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and it was not up to speed neither. The ordering was a bit confusing and interior felt dirty tables not wiped/cleaned off in timely manner. I had the best customer service at a McDonald's today due to the employee (Afton?) she gave me great service, smiling, cheerful, and even brought my meal to me. She genuinely seem happy to serve us. For the most part, McDonald's is fine for a quick meal when you do not have the time to cook at home. One of my favorites are the chicken tenders. But, it is a crap shoot as to whether or not you are getting fresh, or not. Today was an 'or not' day. I have had some right out of the fryer, but often, including today, while they were hot enough, it was obvious they had been sitting around under the heat lamps. The life was drained out of them. The texture is poor, they leave a lot to be desired. I am never sure what is the best time to go for them to insure they are fresh, I have been before 5 or right after, trying to be there on time for fresh. Its still a crap shoot. And finally I am not sure they are worth the disappointment of getting old nuggets. So, avoid then, unless you know the magic time to go there. read more

If you're in the need of self-abuse, this should be your first choice. I went there a year ago at 11:00 a.m. as I waited for a haircut across the street. When I asked the counter person what they served that didn't have meat, I might as well have been speaking Albanian, given the blank, confused stare I got. It appeared that the only meatless dish was the pancakes, so I chose them, instead of wisely leaving. That was a mistake. They're frozen and came in a too-big black non-recyclable plastic boat with clear plastic lid, accompanied by syrup and butter in small plastic packages to go with the plastic dinnerware that was indistinguishable from the food. Extremely loud and trite country music was playing. I noticed a fellow diner wearing earphones, which was a good move for him. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. You would have a tough time in Florence trying to find a worse place to eat. The only good point was there is plenty of parking available, but you can't eat parking. read more
