When taking my order in the drive thru, the employee was not friendly at all & I asked for a strawberry shake he tried to give me a smoothie once at the window and once corrected he told me "you did say a strawberry smoothie but okay" before I could get my words out he closed the window in my face. On my way to church I purchased a vanilla latte. Upon tasting it when I arrived for Sunday school, I realized it was plain coffee. After church I returned to the McDonald's with the coffee to have it replaced. What I encountered was a disrespectful, rude female manager who said "What?!" after I explained why I was there. In addition she gave me a look of disdain as if I were in the wrong for returning it. I had to take a quick moment and pray to not react to her rudeness. I politely explained I made the purchase through the app and asked if she needed to see a receipt. She said she did not. Another person remade my latte. Upon receiving the corrected order the manager nor the person who remade the latte apologized for the error. I got her attention and asked if she were the manager before writing this review. She stated she was the manager. The customer service at this location is horrible and disrespectful at best. She is setting the example for her staff to be disrespectful as well as evident with the other person plopping down the remade order and abruptly walking away. Horrific treatment by a Hispanic manager overweight with tattoos . She had to come because the cashier couldn't not understand English . I had trouble with the app and said I'd like to pay cash while showing her the app this is the manager. There isn't alot you can say about McDonald's. It's been around for a long time. They have grown so much that everyone pretty much knows what to expect when eating there. Junk food, fast food, and comfort food are words commonly used to describe this establishment. With that being said, I must admit, I do enjoy my guilty visits. McDonald's provides a quick bite at a pretty low price. Especially if you know how to navigate the dollar menu. Some favorites of mine are the triple cheeseburger and the McChicken. I went into this location and ordered a "signature recipe" burger. The sweet BBQ bacon selection. It wasn't bad but it was exactly what you'd expect. Greasy, salty, and not quite what it looks like in the menu photo. McDonald's is now advertising "100% fresh beef". Meaning they aren't freezing their patties anymore supposedly. I didn't notice a huge difference in flavor but I do admire this effort. read more

It breaks my heart to have to update my formerly glowing review of this McDonald's. It used to be the best one in the area, bar none. The staff NEVER got my order wrong. Now it is OFTEN wrong. I know the previous manager is no longer there, so perhaps that explains the downfall. Or perhaps it has become one of the Mickey D's that the company sends its trainees to. All I know is the fall was swift and hard. Today my order was placed incorrectly, leading to me being overcharged. And this was done by the manager! Wasted time. Placed two separate orders during sit-in visit, one to eat at the restaurant and one to-go. The app let me order Guava pies. When I saw the order was being 'served,' I waited to be helped at the counter as I was not seeing my order. It was difficult to get a worker's attention as they were hidden working on orders or helping drive thru. Two other customers were waiting for their orders in front of me. A manager or shift leader asked ONE of us something about pies, the customer says no; the worker leaves. When it is finally my turn to be helped, I tell another worker my order number. She asks me if someone told me they didn't have guava pies, to which I tell her this info was told to someone else. Why the manager or shift leader didn't ask EVERYONE there, not sure. But I spent about 20 minutes just waiting to be helped at the counter (20+ minutes since the order was placed) only to be told they didn't have what I ordered. read more

I've been here several times, since our office is close by. I would have to say that 3 out of 5 times that I go through the drive-thru, I would need to come back in the building to get or replace something they screwed up in my order. They are also pretty slow in the mornings, meaning you'll wait about 15 minutes in the drive-thru lane to place your order and get your food. I know it's a waste of time critiquing McDonald's but I figured I should share my experience to others before coming to this location. Where can I start! I'm outraged and annoyed. This McDonald's and many other McDonald's have terrible quality and standards. The workers are careless and the food quality comes out poor. For the 7th time in a row they forget something in my order. With me wasting extra time, I have to go and ask for my food I paid for. It started out with forgetting straws every time, which didn't bother me, to multiple more errors made by the workers. Couple times they have even forgot my sandwich or cookies! The guy at the drive through saw me give him the online coupon from my phone, it was a dollar ice coffee. When he tried scanning it he asked to see it and he told me it didnt include ice mochas. How can an ice coffee, not include an ice mocha??? Anyway I tell him to use another deal since most of them are for coffee and the app is saying I cant use another deal for 60 minutes even though the one didnt go through. He then accuses me of already using one today even though I LITERALLY tried using it right in front of him. He SCANNED IT. Did not appreciate the accusation. I then ask why he cant type the code and he says he doesnt know how the app works. At that point i feel disrespected, swindled and like I just wasted my time driving here. I leave, call the McDonalds where the woman who answered tells me yes they can manually input it into the system. And she didnt know why he just didnt do that. So I would like to know why in fact he didnt do that after he saw me opening the deals on the app. And also why the app now suddenly making you wait 60 minutes?? the only reason I come here is because of the app deals and now because of corporate greed the app is falling apart. We had a birthday party for our daughter here on Sunday, July 29th 2018, 2pm. There were 13 kids...not something that is easy to deal with/manage. The Manager was super awesome, friendly, and so helpful in getting the kids their food and drinks. She was very attentive to our needs. People take fast food workers for granted. Pulled up to the first drive thru window and 2 female employees were fighting. The girl at the drive thru window closed the window once I got there and continued fighting. After around 5 minutes of just waiting for someone to accept my payment and listening to them go back and fourth, an employee cashed me out while the girls continued to argue- I felt bad for him because he stepped in to work the drive-thru while the girls continued fighting. I'm just confused as to why you wouldn't take your argument in the back room instead of fighting in front of customers and backing up the drive thru. The staff at this location is okay, but ownership leaves much to be desired. JJC Restaurant Group owns this location and another in the area at 445 W. Roosevelt. They own others as well I believe. Anyway, the items on which they have pricing discretion are on the higher side. Additionally, ownership is none too responsive to customer's concerns. If you want McDonalds, find another; hopefully owned by someone else. read more
