Service was excellent again. 1st visit: I've been in Colorado for nearly two weeks and this has probably been the best meal I've had so far, even after dining in Aspen (Clark's, Aspen Public House) and Boulder (Flagstaff, the Kitchen American Bistro). I love chorizo tacos and the ones here served with potatoes and fried egg with a side of chips and salsa was one of the best I've ever had and I think that's says a lot after living a lifetime in Texas. The hot dog was flavorful and probably a foot long. It was served with lightly salted french fries that reminded me if the ones my mom used to make me. The Bloody Mary was also very good and slightly spicy although it was only garnished with a lime and no olives. The place is very small, seats maybe a couple of dozen indoors but there is also outdoor seating. Service was very friendly.

Service was adequate but not particularly memorable. One small annoyance was having to retrieve napkins from the self-service station, as none were provided when the food was delivered. Overall, the quality and creativity of the food outweighed the logistical inconveniences, making Slope & Hatch a worthwhile stop in Glenwood Springs.

You can add tomatoes for $0.30; Fortunately, I also got their Cranberry Bacon Bleu salad. A real salad with crunchy lettuce leaves, cranberries, bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles. As I was driving down the highway and 10 minutes into it , I started to feel an allergy reaction and hat I have with milk and pulled over and started vomiting, with insane cramping and I grabbed the Matcha drink and was like holy hell that woman said she has oat milk and it was not on the label. I started getting hives and not being able to breathe . I had to get my epipen that was in my luggage!! Right there on the side of highway 70 in the dark . Thank God I didn't have to go to the ER and if I did you would be hearing from my attorney . She deliberately didn't put Oatmilk so it's not the person who made it as they are going by what she punched in. I also asked for a Grande and she gave me a Venti and charged for that. She obviously hates her job and people . The Starbucks where I am from are very professional and customer service is almost always excellent . She would not still have a job if she gets off on being malicious. I started reading the reviews and thought OmG I should have read it before going there. My afterthought was maybe she was racist but now I see many people have given this store a 1star. I wish there was an option for 0 star. I don't know why if this has been going on from even 8 years ago why does management continue to hire or keep these people on . I'm glad I'm just passing through because if I lived there and this is the only Starbucks , I will not give my business to a store that rather not have customers and even poisons them . If I didn't have my EpiPen I could have died. People have allergies and when they ask for specific ingredients you better follow it because you may be in a major lawsuit !!
