What an inconsiderate neighbor .....and tree butchers as well:( For the attention of the reported manager, Marco? Sometime between 5 am and 7 am on Saturday Sept 28th, 2019, a work crew, which appeared to be hired by McDonalds at 1413 Vine street in Hollywood (SW corner or De Longpre and Vine) began tree cutting along the street on DeLongpre and in the McDondalds parking lot. They were in a white Chevy 2500 pickup with license plate number 099 14S2 or 099 1452. When other neighbors and I called to complain to the staff at McDonalds about the chain saw and leaf blower noise around 5:30 am, we were told it was legal noise levels since they were in a commercial neighborhood. I informed them that noise before 7 am is illegal anywhere and that they were in fact within one and two blocks of residential homes and apartment buildings. When I asked for the phone number and name for the store manager, two different employees refused to provide it. I then went to the front desk of the LAPD on Cole street (just 2 blocks away), also known as Hollywood division. On their advice, another neighbor and I separately called the non emergency dispatch number asking for the police to stop the very loud noise. LAPD also referred me to LA building and Safety, which I'm pretty sure is closed on Saturdays. Then I called 311, who told me noise violations are the responsibility of the LAPD, meanwhile the front desk people at LAPD Hollywood Division told me it was the responsibility of LA Building and Safety. I hope someone from these agencies reaches out to McDonalds? I hope that the McDonalds owners, operators or franchisees or general Manager now know that it's not OK to wake up neighbors before 7am with chain saws, and it's abhorrent and illegal to cut down city property like the street trees on DeLongpre. For such a high traffic tourist area this location really maintains great service and timeliness. I work at the Van Gogh exhibit up the street and get lunch here regularly and always get served super fast. The staff is nice & efficient. I went to the big M with my son Bob and ordered him a happy meal. I myself indulged in ordering a Big Mac meal and a Crispy Chicken sandwich no mayo and then put one on top of the other and proceeded to repeatedly punch it until it formed a McGangbang. My son found what I assume is the used condom from Ronald absolutely blowing out Wendy's back in his Happy Meal causing him to in fact not be happy. And I'm not happy about it either. This McDonald's can kiss my late night drunken grits! So a few nights ago, after partying it up Malibu style, the ole tummy was a rumblin' and demandin' some carbs to soak up the blue drinks I had introduced to it. Seeing as how I rarely get to partake in the evils of the drive-thru since I live up North and they are pretty much nonexistent, I seized the opportunity to let my friend drive me to McDonald's for the ass widening action. I've hit this location several times over the years at many different times during the day and haven't ever encountered any major problems. A few missed items here and there, but nothing so bad that I wouldn't return if nearby. That was until the other night. We ordered our food. My tummy was getting happy and after waiting a very long time, we pulled around to the window I handed them my debit card only to hear the following: "We don't take debit after 1am. Cash only." What the hell? Since when does that make any sense? I questioned it and they were incredibly rude and just said, cash only. Now here is my thinking. If you know, for an undeniable fact, that you will NOT be taking credit or debit, wouldn't it be a wiser move to tell the person that when they are ordering before making them wait in a line for 10 minutes only to then deny them their order and slap them in the face with fast food attitude? Does it even make sense to have cash exchanged in the wee hours of the night, instead of taking debit cards? Thirdly, who even carries cash anymore? The drive through workers really are the rudest people ever. Today there were literally 10 homeless people shuffling around the door and the parking lot, then three cars with people living out of them, the smell of weed wafting through the air. The only reason i go here is because it's drive through, other than that it's pretty awful. Beverages are always wrong, McFlurrys are never available because they don't want to restock the machine. the last three times they've given me raspberry tea instead of sweet tea(didn't even know this was possible) and cherry coke instead of regular coke. The fries are 50/50 on whether they'll be soggy and lukewarm or piping hot and crispy. The actual food items are always made correct, yay! read more

Well let me start by saying that this is actually the second negative review of this business but far from my second negative experience with them. I'm arrived at this McDonalds around 330 AM to order some dinner as I got off late. Upon pulling up a gentlemen had just arrived into the drive through before me to order and I could hear that the server was telling him that they were only accepting cash that he couldn't serve him if he was using card. The gentlemen explained that he had cash so it's be no problem. Upon hearing this the server waited roughly two three minutes and responded that they could accept card that he would need a minute. The gentlemen again explained that he had cash as well I just wanted to order and could figure out payment at the window. The server got upset and cursed the gentlemen out. After what was about a ten minute exchange between that sever and the patron he finally pulled off to the window and my turn was next I was already dreading it because this McDonald's entire service motto seems to be how can we give the worst service possible because it's McDonald's they'll come back anyways. Well I sat at the speaker for 10 minutes waiting to even be told hello one second we'll be right with you something to let me know I'm going to be served. So I pull around the the payment window and see a worker politely knock on the window and ask if I can place my order as I'd been waiting for what was now 20 minutes and they'd only taken one persons order with 4 other cars behind me. They lately looked at me and walked away. So a gentlemen walks to the back and I notice that they're just sitting there talking not working just talking then another individual walks past so I'm up to three workers now and I knock again. This time a little more demanding and explain I've been waiting for 20 minutes can someone take my order. All THREE employs look at me then turn and act as if the window is nonexistent. So this time I knock again with a lot more demand and ANOTHER employee walks to the back (we're now up to 4) comes to the window and the three previous employees told the fourth don't answer me. So this has been about a 5 minutes exchange the gentlemen who'd been cussed out is still waiting on his food and I ask him if he doesn't mind if I come speak to them he kindly obliged and upon walking up to the window I saw THREE MORE employees at the front standing around and I explain the situation with them they told me I need to just leave then. That I was no longer welcome to be served. LUCKILY there was a shift lead on duty who came and comped my meal. So that was the one saving grace but when everytime I'm walking into a restaurant they have an environment that stimulates angry customers people complaining about orders (not my words they have several signs saying they need to get their ratings up they have to many complaints) and then the employees response EVERYTIME THEY make a mistake is leave then. I do believe this NcDonalds on this night made they're shift motto clear. WE DONT SERVE CUSTOMERS WE SERVE HEADACHES. I guess it makes since you don't ever see that little McDonald's smiling symbol anymore or the friendly environment. It's a bunch a people there to hit a clock. I think McDonalds Corporation would be smart to cut its loses with this mcdonalds if it's franchised so it's name won't be associated with a restaurant that spends an hour telling its customers they aren't going to get served!!! read more
