We love Braum's milk for its flavor (exactly the same after the A2 switch, btw!) and improved nutrient profile. We love being able to run in and grab a couple of essentials from the grocery section (although we miss when they used to hand you milk gallons out of the drive-through window--ancient history, right?!). We enjoy the burgers and the thick crinkle-cut fries, and we adore the ice cream, which is the absolute best bang for your buck in addition to being excellent. But one thing we have never, ever loved about Braum's is the service. Typically, Braum's hires a bunch of teens and older folks who seem like they'd rather be anywhere else. I have considered shoplifting gallons of milk before for the way I've been ignored standing at the checkout for minutes and minutes. If they would team up with Chick-fil-A for employee training, they could run the ice cream world. But there's something different about this location! The people who served our family were HAPPY. They SMILED. They got our orders right and they seemed genuinely happy to have us there. I came back to the counter after we got our food and was immediately tended to cheerfully, then while I waited another employee asked if I had been helped. I was almost speechless. This is far and away the best service I have ever had at a Braum's. Not only did I jump on Yelp and drop a five-star rating asap, but I also spoke to the shift leader to tell him what a good thing they have going here.
