Not only did they have a great selection of espresso beans, the barista was happy to educate me on the different options. I also got a dark chocolate bar made in Asheville that was absolutely fantastic! My hot Cortado to go was delicious and high on the caffeine side. (My favorite!!) There is adequate seating for studying, working, or chatting with friends and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing with good WiFi. They have several family style restrooms that are easy to access. The only challenge is that parking can be difficult, but it's inner city....what did I expect? The barista was super fast and had an amazing attitude. I will 100% be back!

I ordered a cold brew, monkey bread, and a quiche to be shared with the family. The cold brew was delicious and the monkey bread was off the hook! The monkey bread was crunchy, chewy and perfectly sweetened. This paired great with the cold brew. The quiche was good, but a little too runny for me. I was told it was freshly made so maybe it needed to sit for a while? Still had decent flavor! If you're in Knoxville and need some coffee off the beaten path, Perk City is an solid choice.

Unfortunately, the hand tart had several edges that I discovered later had been burnt. This impacted the flavor of the whole item and sadly diminished it greatly. The fruit filling was tasty at least, though I didn't get much raspberry from it -- mostly blueberry. I'd be down to try again in the future, just would come earlier in the day when the selection is a bit larger and the products available are a bit more "choice," let's say.
