So bad. So bad. So unbelievably bad. I went thru the drive through on 2/8. When I got home i saw that all 3 of my cheeseburgers had no patty in them. Ordered a double quarter pounder meal and a 10pc nugget with sweet and sour. They charged me for the double, only got one burger patty, and nuggets came with ranch instead of the requested sweet and sour. I can't complain too much considering it's McDonalds, but how hard is it to put the right items in the bag. Operation is well run. Counter service is fast and staff were able to keep the line moving even during a busy lunch. Communication due to lack of two-way English fluency might be a problem for some tourist customers. But the staff were still able to make my McChicken sandwich special order correctly and understand no whip cream on my drink. I would definitely return. This is also the only quick fast food place in the area so it is particularly impressive that the management is able to run a smooth operation despite not really needing to try that hard. In line with all the other bourgeois yelp people I will give this terrific place 1 star because it isn't Jimmy's Tiny No-Name Restaurant. read more

It's obvious that some of theses reviews are family and friends or paid for reviews, I ordered items off menu and was told they no longer have that item. Hey you, take it off the menu if it's not available anymore, and the people that work here don't act like they care if they are here (or anywhere ) the fries were cold wife returned to counter to get hot ones and they looked at her like she was from different planet, but there was a guy nrxt to her doing the same thing, cold fries. Double charged me. Never gave me my order. When I asked about it they said they don't make grand macs. Staff was extremely rude. While I was being refunded, a worker put a bag of food in front of me that had a grand Mac inside of it. When I asked about the food another employee took the bag and threw it in the trash, although it was full of perfectly good food. Horrible expiernce I had a coupon and they had me scan it and then messed up and said "oh well now you have to pay full price because the coupon is no longer valid". this coming from the short female manager with chin length hair. She was incredibly rude and was refusing to take coupons because she was positive it wouldn't work and then acted shocked when it did. I will never go here again and I suggest no one else does. Worst McDonald's experience ever, wouldn't have bothered grabbing some "quick" breakfast here if I had known it would take 40 minutes for two people to get their order. The cashier lady working the register was basically a zombie, ignoring everyone in line while bagging and serving other people's food. No "sorry about the wait" or any acknowledgement. This is the worst Mc Donald's! We were in the drive thru at 10:30am on our way to take a tour at 11:00. We asked are you serving lunch yet or breakfast, the drive thru guy told us lunch. We placed our order, paid ($11 something dollars) then were told to pull over out of the drive thru to the left as it would be a few minutes for our food. Hawaii is notorious for having expensive food. It's often nice to have something familiar and something constant like Mickey Ds. Worst McDonalds I have ever been to! After ordering and ringing up a breakfast sandwich without sausage, the cashier saw it was less expensive and decided to refuse to complete the transaction. Instead of the sandwiches being about $2, she insisted that they be $5/each and include sausage. I explained to her that I ordered exactly what I want and I don't want the sandwich she was trying to change it to. She became irritated and called her manager over, who said they won't serve me and asked me to leave the line. I drove 20 minutes just to get to this McDonalds to be refused service and embarrassed? I have contacted corporate and complained about this McDonalds in the past because of giving me the wrong items 3x in a row, and after their manager called last time, I figured I'd give it one more try.
