I don't like doing review but this McDonald's didn't give me a choice. WORSE McDonald's ever. The drive through staff is very rude, without knowledge of the menu. I kindly asked for the Number 6 Combo and coffee with sugar . I did not get the sugar I ask for, I did not get the combo but only the sandwich . When I asked for the rest of the stuff, the older gentleman grab the hash brown and smashed it inside the bag in worst way possible. I really hope that McDonald's corporate sees this review and investigate this location. read more

Really lousy McDonald's. They charge 50% more for some breakfast items than the other McDonald's in the area. They must do it because they can get by with because of the tourist location. Lousy service and they can't make sweet tea to save their life. Try a non chain for better service and food. read more

I've been in this area for about a year now and the drive thru has always been quick and easy for me, especially in the morning. However, I wouldn't recommend coming inside to dine. The staff are very young, presumably high school age, and are very loud and vulgar and all around unprofessional. One even went so far as to indulge information about another employee being on her period, not something I cared to hear before eating and thinking about her handling my food. However, Julie took our order and was very kind and quick, and even brought our food to our table, so she was a nice change from the other bothersome staff. This is one of the most ridiculous McDonald's I have ever been to.. I've had 2 bad experiences here. The morning/afternoon manager is despicable. She does not know one bit about dealing with unhappy customers. She instantly jumps to "I'm calling the cops" instead of saying something like "I'm so sorry you feel that way, but sir/ma'am I'm not the one the makes the rules, I just have to enforce them, is there anything I can do to make this experience better for you?" She should NOT be a manager. And second experience, do not go there after midnight, nothing like sitting in the drive thru for 20+ minutes with only 3 cars ahead of you. seems as though this poor man is working that place on his own. Dude, the burger was so raw that a skilled veterinarian could have brought it back to life.

Food came out timely but dining area was a disaster. Every table was filthy and trash cans out like someone left mid shift. Walked in on bathroom with dry pee all over the floor. Poor management!! What a shame!!! read more

Worst McDonald's ever. We order our food and proceeded to wait and wait and wait. We watched people come and go. We asked twice and were told we were next. We ordered a hot chocolate, soda pop, and a quarter pounder with cheese not very difficult. We finally went up and got loud. The manager gave us a cold hot chocolate and told us they ran out of our sandwich. Another girl that worked there said "No you gave their sandwich to drive through, don't lie." We asked for our money back. The manager grabbed our soda pop cup and hot chocolate and shoved our money at us. We will return to this store. read more

I found a dead bug (it looked like some sort of roach) on top of the table I was about to sit at. I spoke to a manager named Barb, and she said "sir it is a dead bug, what do you want me to do about it?" Immediately after that I asked for a refund and left. As with most FF places, getting and Keeping Decent motivated & nice Persoanlity people is difficult..The turn over is high, no matter what you pay them.. Strict Training & Supervision by Managment is Key and No Toleration for Things being Sloppy or Dirty or Careless.. In these smaller Rual towns its difficult to Find, let alone Keep Good workers.. I don't envy the Mgmnt. and Owners Job and hope its worthwhile for them.. 8 out of 10x things go fine, I use it ave 5x a week But that 2 out of 10 x? Things get backed up and they just don't want to have the Long Big Order customers at the Drive thru go to the waiting area and have it brought out to them.. Maybe they're short handed to just being Lazy , I don't know.. a few times? I when I finally get to the Drive thru window? I will tell them to Keep it, too upset to eat it.. and let them have the $ as well.. and don't come back for a week or 2, till they change staff..Usually do.. and a few times? I've gotten DIAREAHH about 1-2 hrs after eating there.. and didn't eat anything from anywhere else either..To Coincidental If you get the D after eating there? Tell them ( call them) just to let them know and incase others did the same) they could have a disgrunted Employee to having a Cleaning , Sanitary problem ... Not to expect to get anything in compensation for it either.. and Any One can bring a Dead Bug inside a resturant and leave it there..to doing all kinds of nasty things..Only Camera Monitors can see if someone did that.. This McD's cannot handle a Fast Paced Enviroment as you have in the Big Cities, so don't expect that kind of faster service.. Keep In Mind- 9 out of 10 Resturants go OOB after 3-5 yrs..and Alot of these places are Franchised Owned.. and I worked my 1st Job at the Original McD's in DesPlaines, Ill. and then in Glenview in the late 60's when they just got started and Met Mr. Kroch manytimes.. my food actually took 25 minutes to come out, and they didn't even bring out my french fries with that. the place was full with a couple angry, and clearly frustrated people, confused as to why it takes so long to get their food. i would have asked for a refund but i knew i would have to wait for that longer than i needed to too. read more

Regardless of what anyone thinks about the service at any given McDonald's, you can still pretty much rely on the consistency in the food. Not here! Yes, it was ridiculously slow, but I have been eating at McDonalds for 40 years and have never had worse tasting food in my life. Perhaps they haven't changed the oil in the fryer in a while? I don't know, but my breakfast hash browns tasted funky. My breakfast sandwich was just plain gross. Way too much cheese, and something else I couldn't really put my finger on it. I couldn't eat it. The food is good maybe even great. The food is a little greasy sometimes but the salads are amazing! Sometimes I need some more fries with my salt please. Absolutely horrible customer service. Besides the fact waiting at the speaker to order only to be ignored for 3 mins not even acknowledged that was there. I finally was able to order my order was correct on screen was correct on receipt however sandwich was wrong. Had to park and go get a new one. However instead of saying oh sorry about that and telling the cooks to make new one right away the so called manager had me wait behind all the current orders and new orders coming in, she then put my sandwich as a new order. I ended up waiting another 10mins to get a sandwich I ordered correctly. Was completely appalled by the way Norma handled customer service. I was a paying customer I did my wait and I ordered correctly I shouldn't have been pushed to side and made to wait twice almost three times longer.! read more

LONG BUT WORTH THE READ.. Worst fast food experience ever. I'm from Illinois and I was staying at a nearby hotel and walked to this McDonalds. Stood in line for 20 minutes with one person ahead of us. When we finally got to order, the cashier was giving us so much attitude and having troubles operating the machine. The process of ordering was another 10-15 minutes because the cashier didn't know how to operate the machine. Once the order was finished, we realised she forgot items we ordered. We waited for our food and got back in line wth no one in line and all we wanted to do was order the rest of our meal. The cashier looked at us and went in the back to pack bags of ice. Every 15 seconds or so an employee would look at us but not offer to help or get the cashier, all they would do is give us a dirty look. Even the manager. After 20 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

On Saturday night we waited 1.5 hours in the drive thru at 2:30am with a bachelorette party. When we finally got to the window they didn't even have our order. i went to the drive thru and ordered a McChicken however the girl taking our order did not hear me when I ordered it and so when we went back around the drive thru to ask about our McChicken. the girl was very snappy and said "Well you didn't pay for it so not my problem."
