Then a person picked up her order and started talking to the worker who still stayed totally oblivious to me. We were dining in and just ordered on the kiosk & took a placard. I had to interrupt him while he was just talking with the lady. I asked for water cups to which he said - here I have your order- no napkins and not delivered to my table??? Is this the new McDonalds?; do everything myself plus no napkins on the tray? Food was a 5 and I wouldn't fault the kitchen workers.

I ordered through the McDonald's app two sausage McMuffins this morning at 5:50 in the a.m. there were no cars in the Drive-Thru except mine. I waited over 10 minutes for them to come on to the microphone to take the order. I placed the order and I was specific about customizing one of the sausage McMuffins to not have any cheese on it. My friend is lactose intolerant and he cannot handle cheese. When I got to the Williams Bay here, and gave him his sandwich, written on the wrapper was no cheese, and the sandwich had extra cheese on it. I will never return to this restaurant, even though the manager when I went back in the afternoon told me I have a free sandwich coming. It isn't even worth it!

The bread is fresh, chewy and denser and holds up too well because it didn't soggy the bread how I like it. The hot peppers are noticeable hotter with my running nose. Overall the two Chicago chains are doing Chicago beefs slightly different but they are still very good in different ways, Side note Oak Creek WI will get one soon which would be an hour round trip for me so unless I was in Oak Creek I will probably not get to this chain often when Portillos is 10 minutes round trip.

My girlfriend had just eggs, toast, hashbrowns with bacon. She said the coffee was OK. She's a little fussy with the coffee so we've had a few places where it's been great. She says it's drinkable and she liked it. Good enough! They give you generous portions of food. The bacon was cooked crispy the way she likes it and the eggs were done perfectly. Hashbrowns taste fresh and good and never cooked perfectly. They under utilize salt, but there's probably a good reason for it and that's why you have salt at the table. The skillet I had, however, was real good! Generous portions of brisket and the sweet potatoes were cut strips and grilled and tender. It had chunks of green peppers which were grilled and you could tell they were fresh. Fresh grilled onions and chunks of tomatoes inside. It was loaded with cheese too. My eggs were done to perfection and I had the sourdough toast. Their sourdough toast is Home made style bread. I don't believe it's baked in the restaurant, but it was very good. Once again, very generous portions. The place is huge inside with plenty of elbow room. As for the price, their prices were average and in line with other places we've eaten breakfast in the area. The whole staff that is there greeted you at one point or the other. Very friendly staff. They are also open for lunch and dinner.
