From time to time, I stop by for an iced coffee. I always modify the order because the standard iced coffee is typically way too sweet and creamy with little coffee taste. I have never purchased any food, only coffee. I always use the drive thru lane, which has been consistently efficient with decent service. I have never been inside, so I cannot say anything about the ambiance. Standard Micky D's fare. Nothing to rave about or to complain about. I'm reviewing because this is my first time eating in a newly remodeled one with the self order screen. I also want to comment on the whole redesign. Comfy captains chairs surround two tables. Nice. The color scheme is grey tones. I like it. The design is sleek and clean. Booths and tables all fit the design well. The order screens are cool. Order by picture. You can indicate you have a special request. Select your order, review, and pay. Could slow things down during rush. Who knows? They have regular order takers as well. There's also a nice play area for the little ones. So when will this redesign come to a Mickey D's near you? So I live about a 3 to 5 minute drive up the street so that's why I've been using this location but honestly if you're just like me and it's a conveniently place location to take my advice and order from the McDonald's That's an extra 10 minutes down the street because this place is terrible. One way you can tell it's terrible is the fact that you would rather go to the McDonald's in the Walmart literally across the street from it instead of going to the legitimate franchise. So I ordered through DoorDash and it's 5:30 AM. I ordered a McMuffin combo with a small smoothie and a small coffee. The way that the coffee was THROWN into the bag and NOT secure in the actual cup holder had nothing to do with the Dasher! Which she tried blaming it on originally! So as you know, the bags are concealed at the restaurant, so there's no way for the Dasher to have known what was going on inside the bag. This is entirely the employees falult. I did ask the Dasher if they didn't notice a soaked bag or a leaking bag but because of how it's layered I guess he didn't notice or he claimed that he didn't see any signs of it originally but he did mention he witnessed them throw the coffee in the bag before they closed it up and handed it to him so he did apologize for not speaking up at that moment. Now when I called the establishment after I had already talk to DoorDash (about ten min after I got my order) and got a full refund from DoorDash, the manager on board; who refused to give me their name,Let me know that she's not gonna listen to anything that I have to say by cutting me off every two words I managed to get in, and that I need to contact DoorDash. Now even after I already told her about three times that I already spoke to DoorDash and already got my full refund and I'm not looking for a refund for her(I'm just looking to speak with her about my issue) she wanted to keep cutting me off and over talking me. Again... I already talked to DoorDash. She claimed there's nothing she can do or listen to until DoorDash reports it to her. I'm just looking to verbally comment to her directly, so that she understands where they messed up. I ended up just hanging up because I told her I didn't wanna have to come and make actual review anywhere which is why I was calling her but since she didn't wanna actually listen, be accountable, or even apologize for the mistake THEIR EMPLOYEES MADE, I hung up and decided to do this instead. I was literally trying to warn her that I did not want to have to do this. Go out of my way to make reviews and slander their business but because she just did not want to listen and did not want to sit there and apologize and be accountable because again... I already talk to DoorDash showed them all the pictures and got my refund, so I was just trying to have a conversation with her and get an explanation as to why my coffee cup was literally just throw it inside of the bag. I should've taken a picture of how it was when I opened it, but I was so preoccupied with rushing to get all the items out of the bag while everything on top of my table is getting soaked from the back as Well. Understand I'm not a Karen and order from this place often and they really never have ever made a mistake (and I order ALOT OF SAUCES), I'm 24 and work in customer service myself so I get having a bad work day with mess ups. But when you decide to not want to deal or handle anything from the jump, that's what I have an issue and when I demand justice because this is ridiculous, the only thing I could legitimately enjoy were the apple slices and the mango smoothie. Not only was this entirely unprofessional on how she decided not to handle anything but it's entirely bad business because you decide not to handle anything especially when it was obviously your mistake and you're trying to blame it on the Dasher if I can get this less stars I would, but I'm never ordering from this establishment. Not to be harsh to the big boy on the block, but I just can't give the big yellow M more than three stars when the primary emphasis of their food offering is speed. Even more important to them than cooking speed is speed of getting customers in and out of line. Not a bad goal EXCEPT it causes employees to develop some bad habits. My number one peeve is cold fries. I've yet to find a McDonald's location where employees didn't cook WAY too many fries for fear of running out (and holding-up the drive-thru line) and then abuse the "fry 'em again" trick to reheat fries that have been sitting too long. This means I have to get used to sub-par fries (I never will) as, almost every time, in the five minutes it takes to drive home, my fries lose all their heat. Grrrr! read more

I'm the type of person that likes to do mobile ordering so I don't have to bombard them with having to talk to me and me messing up what I want or me take you five minutes to tell them what I want... literally went into the line didn't move for 10 minutes so I got out of the line for drive-through after I already placed my mobile order then I got in my spot at 10 o'clock and now it's going on 1010 and they brought me my food but they messed up my one drink that I actually paid for because I use my points for my other drink that I got today..... i used to work for McDonald's so I don't understand why it's taking so long for them to make a iced mocha a small by the way I need my coffee And it took them five minutes just to bring me a hash brown if you're in a rush and wanna get some McDonald's this is not the one for you read more

Not only have they redone the entire place, but the redesign is great. HUGE playplace, two drive thrus, and kiosks to order inside without a line. But the crew here is AMAZING! Randomly here on a Saturday and they are throwing a pirate party for all the kids. Free balloons, pirate hats, music and everything. The "pirate crew" just got storming the lobby and telling other customers they've come for their fries. This is great. And I don't know who this manager is but he's spectacular. Overcharging the customer. I ordered a quarter pound sandwich and was charged for a quarter pouder with cheese. Note on receipt no american cheese.. When I balked at being charged for cheese their reply was that it comes that way. Pushed for manager to intervene and she was tied up. I never thought I'd be giving Mickey D's a 4-star review, but here we are. After several of them have let us down in the past few months, we appreciate a good one. Every time I come to this McDonald's, the food is fresh and hot and they get our order right every time. Drive through is fast and ingress/egress isn't a cluster. I appreciate that. Easy access to all directions of travel. The only problem I see here is that there isn't a ton of parking. I've never parked, but I don't see a ton of spaces. read more

I have a problem giving fast food spots stars, but what can you say about a McDonalds that most everyone else does not already know? I guess the main things here are the customer service and cleanliness of the place. This particualr McD's is average in customer service to most other McD' I have visited. Not overly helpful but not necessarily horrible. The place is pretty clean and well kept, which is nice. The bathrooms are clean and pleasent. There is nothing much else to say about this, but that it is located in a spot readily accessible to all road traffic. New, very nice inside. Screen ordering is quite handy. Staff is AMAZING. My kids are autistic and don't always follow direction or stay put when I need them to. The staff helped watch them when one had to go potty and the other wanted to stay and eat, and when I had to get up to get fountain drinks. The kindness was so appreciated. We travel from SOMD to Baltimore weekly and will be stopping here on the way back more often. Great playplace here! read more

If I could give a zero star I would , I ordered a small mocha frappe (my favorite drink at any mcdonalds) the whole cup was filled with pieces of ice not even crushed properly, I took 3 small sips and my cup was empty! Wth??! Also on any given time they (drive thru) will say that they don't take the deals or mobile online deal "not participating huh". That's not right. I have been to McDonald's everywhere from Hawaii to Las Vegas to now Laurel and never had such sad product !! For a McDonalds it's 5 stars all the way. It was just demolished and rebuilt over the holidays and is completely new in every way. They have added no register ordering, a play place, a kids bathroom and computers for the kids. It features a play place for kids that includes multiple climbing features and 2 slides, multiple screens for the kids to play games on and a place for shoes. Two downfalls while a cubby for shoes no place for coats, it would be nice to have some simple hooks for the kids to hang their coats as there is very limited seating (so can't necessarily hang their coats on the back of chairs as most are backless stools) also the layout of the seating is very odd and so is the entry and exit, it's isolated (which I get is for safety) but unlike chick fil a you cannot sit anywhere in the restaurant for a full view of the kids. The seating is in the playroom and it's crowded and dirty with very uncomfortable chairs. It's nice they installed a bathroom for the kids inside the play area but it needs to be cleaned more often. The whole area should have a permanent cleaner like at chick fil a, it really needs it; kids are messy creatures and most adults today are no better. Inside it has the new McDonald features of no person contact in order to order your meal using a credit/debit card then they deliver your meal to your table by you taking a numbered sign when ordering. If paying with cash you need to order at the register. Also not very much seating on inside but if you want somewhat quiet as the kids area is separated you get your wish. read more

My wife order food from this location on 1/4/20. The lady taking the food order was rude. We paid for the food and when we got home, we were missing our two sundaes. So we called and the lady said to come on Sunday and pick them up. So today I came to the drive threw and explain what happen yesterday and the manager said no. Several times when I go late at night, this 24/7 restaurant has a piece of paper taped to the drive through Order Here thing saying they're closed. Yet there's still people inside. Another time, they were taking orders at the 2nd window. Not my first visit to a remodeled McDonalds but honestly I love the new looks of the restaurants. The touch screen ordering is a dream, sometimes I even come inside to get food and order it to go just for that! The inside is super clean and nicely lit and the staff is all super friendly and helpful. I don't have children so I can't really comment on the family centered aspects (play place etc), but from what I've seen those accommodations look clean and easy to access. This McD's was rebuilt from the ground up in late 2017. What a difference! The parking lot is much easier to navigate, and the dining area is new and modern. Standard McD's fare, but with the new ordering kiosks you can customize pretty much everything you order. Having your order brought to your table is a nice touch. No more waiting in lines.
