I was traveling and stopped here during the morning rush. I ordered thru the app, so I skipped the line at the counter. Despite their busyness, my food came very quickly. It was fresh and hot. At the location, orders can be made at the counter, thru the app, and at kiosks. It's great that there are ways to keep the line at the counter shorter. The drive thru was clean, and the menu was bright and in good condition. This is a good location to stop at if you are traveling down the highway and looking for a quick meal. read more

Props to the people that work at this location. At 11:30pm after driving back to the area it was literally the only restaurant open. ( drive thru only) There were prob 35 cars in line. While McDonald's is not a place I usually eat, I was impressed that as busy as they were my order was still correct. read more

What a terrible experience. I understand ordering at a kiosk but I do feel that this new feature should expedite service and improve customer service. Our order included 2 McDoubles, 1 cheeseburger, 6 nuggets w/ a chili sauce and 3 orders of fries. Generally, I always check our food before leaving, this time I did not. After waiting more than 10 minutes for the food we received 20 nuggets, 2 McDoubles and a basket of fries and 3 honey mustards. The only thing that was correct was the McDoubles and our drinks (likely because we got those ourselves!). After contemplating going back in we decided to make do because we were tired and just ready to be home after 15 hours in the car. The fries were cold. Do not EVER pull forward in the drive thru when they ask. 3 times now. 3 times. You wait in the line forever. It wraps around the restaurant and into the shopping center parking lot. You've spent 35-40 minutes waiting in line. You get to the window. "Can you please pull forward, we're waiting on your ________". Next thing you know it's been another 15 minutes and they've completely forgotten you're there. 3 times. Wind up having to go in and do it all over again. Fast food my foot. Just for kicks, last time I said no. I waited. Made them light a fire under their rears to get cars moved along. On my very first visit had an unpleasant experience with an employee who claimed to be the Assistant General Manager. If she truly is, it's no wonder the restaurant is in shambles. I have returned several times out of desperation for cheap food and have always gotten cold food and watered down fountain drinks. read more

Got an iced coffee this morning, it was super good until I started finding long hair in it. I brushed it off at first because I assumed it was a friend's who had been in my car, but then I found 3 more strands after the first. I stopped drinking after this. Very odd, my other experiences at this specific McDonald's have been great. However, I dont think I'll be going back after this. I don't see how that much hair in the bottom of a drink could be an accident. Either way, very unsanitary. read more

This McDonalds is probably the quickest one I have ever been to. In other cities, you seem to wait in line a lot longer, even in a short line. This location is always busy. McAlester could really use one or two more locations (other than on the turnpike) Always check your food before you pull off. Half of the time, your order won't be right. But they will always fix it quickly. read more

It's so amazing that you can order a burger, pay for a burger the get to the window and handed a 20 piece nugget meal. Handed it back told them it was wrong and that it was supposed to be a quarter pounder. I got an apology and bag of food. As I drove off I checked again. Guess what??? I got a ten piece nugget. If there was a zero star I would totally put that!! There was a house fly in my coffee. The trash outside is overfilled. Too many employees. They don't even really care. We ordered some drinks and they took 10 minutes to make it. Once I started to yell at them they started to make it. They don't check the drinks and luckily I didn't drink too much before noticing there was a house fly. Go to the other McDonald's that's in McAlester! read more

Came out to McAlister for a funeral, stopped by here and grabbed food to eat in the car as I drove back to California. Not a good idea. Within an hour I began throwing up and had diarrhea and my stomach hurt like hell. I couldn't keep anything down till about Arizona. Three of us ordered the same the only difference was I ordered bacon on my burger. Service was ok, but the order the night before for the big group was missing a pretty good portion of it. I guess I should learn my lesson with McDonalds. At least this one was clean. Didn't have much time, so I thought it would be good idea to stop for grilled chicken sandwich and salad. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. Even on a busy day like Black Friday. Food was fast and the facilities were clean.

It's your typical McDonalds. Fast food. Quick service, edible food, and not too bad on prices.

As McDonalds go this location leaves much to be desired food wise. The décor is great and always kept clean, but by far this location constantly has the worst Big Macs of any McDonald I have eaten at in over 20 states. The kitchen seems over crowed and service often takes longer than most. read more

The employee to customer ratio is insane. Way too many employees working at one time. Don't even know how anyone in the kitchen can move around and get anything done with the manager in blue shirt standing right in the way. On the floor there were about 5 people cleaning which is great but it felt like they were just standing there watching you eat the whole time waiting to clean your area. Very strange. Couldn't even get to the drink area because so many employees were restocking items that were already stocked enough. And when I finally did get to drinks I almost had my feet swept by an overly eager employee. The store was very clean and well maintained but a few less employees would probably not be missed and standards would still be maintained. read more

False advertising is common for this place. SIM cards have been found in sandwiches, how they got in there makes no sense. There has been other things found in some of the items in the past as well. The drive thru workers can get a little rude and they always seem to mess up my order. Just putting my opinion out there. read more

Stopped by Mcdonlads on my way back home from a week long camp out with my Boy Scout troop (troop 162 out of Oklahoma City) we were all tired and hungry when we arrived but as soon as we walked In we were greeted by the kindest people I have ever met. They made our day and by the time we left we couldn't stop laughing. The food was great and so was the service.
