So I love this location, it's normally my favorite, but I was in here late at night on 1/19 at about 10:45 at night and I saw one of the employees getting off her shift and both her and her boyfriend were walking out of the females bathroom together., And I felt so disgusted . WOW! Unbelievable, if I wasn't paying attention, they would have served me a hamburger straight off the floor. The line cook dropped my burger, noticed he dropped it after a couple of minutes then picked it up, dusted it off and re-wrapped it to serve. We eat here pretty often but will have to say we are going to start eating elsewhere. This place upcharges, meaning that they dont ask you the size meal you want (small, medium, or large) and just charge you for the large. The primary size that is viewable (largest in size font) is the medium so you expect to pay one thing and end up paying another. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese while urgently trying to finish Christmas shopping. What I got did not resemble what I remembered from childhood! The flavor was totally underwhelming! As I ate it I had to keep it over the box it came in because the amount of clear grease dripping out of it was about a teaspoon full. I am sure there was a lot more inside of the burger that didn't drip out. This does not taste like what I grew up on! It was sloppily put together with all the pickles stacked on top of each other, and the onions sticking out of the side of the burger. I won't be back! read more

This is the worst McDonald's we have ever been to. Drive through with one person in front will take 20 minutes on average. Evenings are worst, still an average 20 minute wait. One evening, by the time we got to the order com, we found out they only took cash. By then, we already waited for 10 minutes and there were 2 cars ahead and it took another 15 minutes to get out of drive through. There are 2 ordering lanes and they don't go in the right order. One evening, they kept taking order after orders from the other lane. We are never coming back here again. read more

Extremely horrible customer service. I ordered through mobile app and chose curbside pickup. After waiting for more than 20 minutes with no one coming up, I went to the drive through window and was told they received nothing in their system and refused to give me the food I already paid for. This McDonald's is terrible. I placed an online order with the app. I checked in at the store to get my food and the app crashed. They said they never got it even though my bank had already charged me and McDonalds had emailed me a receipt. Somehow they wouldn't give me a refund saying they didn't charge me even though they did. I hate McDonalds but they're the only place in McKinney that is open past 10:00 p.m. My fiancé ate there several times while I was in the hospital and he got the wrong order four times. I called a manager who was extremely rude so I put my fiancé on the phone. The manager was nicer to my fiancé, perhaps because he's a guy, but they never offered a refund and only told us we could come back for the same order immediately. We didn't want McDonalds at that time. They refused to refund us any money even though we had the receipts. I ate there once or twice and the nuggets gave me nausea and stomach pain. My fiancé was also ill after eating chicken nuggets. The wait at the drive thru is about 10-15 minutes, and you will rarely get the right order. I rarely go to McDonalds for many reasons, today I wanted French fries. I asked for fresh, hot fries and I got warm, soggy fries. Yuck. The cashier was unable to make change for a twenty due lack of cash in the drawer. I went there around 1 pm. I waited at least 5 minutes to get my change because the system won't allow a change in the payment method and the manager on duty either didn't know what to do or how to actually bring cash to a register. There was only one cashier and she needed help on just about every order. I have no idea if she was new, but she and the woman who had manager codes talked like old buddies. The fries were brought to me in a courteous way, but the fries tasted like rotten and soggy potatoes. I let them know what I thought and left. I did not want anything more from there. I'm going to go back to avoiding McDonald's. read more

It's a first McDonald I've seen with 2 self-ordering kiosks, totaling 4 ordering stations. People were in line to place an order at the kiosk when there wasn't a line at the counter. The kiosk line seemed to move rather quickly. The restrooms in the restaurant and kid's area were clean. The kid's area offered 4 computer stations with games for the kids to play. There's a kid's TV, showing cartoons, in the area as well. The play area was packed with much older kids which overwhelmed my toddlers a bit. They keep the air-condition cranked on high! Maybe that's there way of crowd control. We ate, played, and left in record time! read more

This McDonald's is complete trash. I have ordered Uber eats from them several times at many times of the day and the order never gets done. I can order from anywhere else in the area including chick fil a which is like 1 min away and way busier all the time , and it gets here perfectly fine but 50 mins wait time and the Uber tracker never saying "we are looking for a delivery " is just ridiculous . Specially after they quote you 15 min delivery at the latest. Worst part of it all I keep giving them a chance, but I guess that's my bad. read more
