This location is terrible. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to in all my years on earth. Fries are always soggy or stale, and they skimp out on portions. Not sure if employees are told to purposefully give smaller portions but this is bad business practice. If I paid for a large fry, I expect a large fry serving not a small/medium portion. They also never get my order correct if I make any modifications. Doesn't matter if I ask for extra onions, or extra pickles, always mess it up. If I ever go to this location (which I probably won't) I'll always check the bag before I leave. I went to the McDonald's on 99 N Milpitas Blvd instead of 1854 N Milpitas Blvd because of construction being done at one of the locations. I ordered 2 double quarter pounders, 1 filet o fish, 2 large fries, 1 kids meal with 6 piece chicken nuggets and 2 apple pies. When we received our order, they gave us 1 quarter pounder with 1 patty, 2 kid sized fries, 1 kid sized soda, 1 large soda and 3 apple pie. So I went through the drive-thru to pick up my mobile order. The 1st guy on the mic was quite rude. He was apparently having an argument with an Uber Eats driver over the mic, which while humorous and entertaining, was rather off-putting when he would attempt to ask what I was ordering. He told me to pull up to the 2nd window and then proceeded to ignore me for a good few minutes. Only then did he wave me off to the final window without saying a word. Checking in with the staff, they seemed confused and couldn't locate my order. I showed them my mobile order code, then told them what I ordered. A senior employee in a red shirt, I assume a manager, came over and began to tell me that my order never went through. That would explain why it never showed up. Yet, when I showed her my mobile code and my receipt, she claimed I was given an incorrect code. Stating that at her Mcdonalds, all codes start with a '16'. I asked her 'but is this the Mcdonalds 99 North? She said yes. I then asked her, how would I know what the correct code. She says 'I don't know. All my codes start with a '16' and there are many Mcdonalds apps. You must be using a 3rd party app. It says Mcdonalds, but its not i promise you my dear." .... So I was okay up until she kept insisting that I was wrong and ordered at the wrong Mcdonalds... there was no resolution except "you can park and order inside. Not through the drive way." I really like to go to this McDonald's because of its convenient location and good food; however, the restaurant has not been taken good care of in terms of the restroom's (Men) condition. The roof has been leaking for weeks and it has not been fixed. Recently (in the month of December, 2022) the toilet has been closed for repairs for weeks and we customers find it extremely inconvenient! In addition, the temperature in the restaurant has always been very cold just like the outside temperature.
