I really like this location and it is the closest Mc Ds, but they seem to be consistently wrong with the drive thru orders. I go all the time and never once do they ever get it right. Today I am missing fries in one happy meal and there was no dressing for my salad. What's the point if you have to take everything out to see if you received everything you ordered? Not a big deal when you are dining in, but it is so disappointing to find out when you are already home. I normally don't review fast food but this is the straw that broke the camels back. Items are ALWAYS missing. Never fails. 2 years and probably 100 visits later and Mc D's has not changed a bit. 95% of the time something is missing or the order is wrong. What is up with that. By far the worst McDonald's I've been to. Literally. I ordered a caramel Sunday, and they gave me a cup with vanilla ice creAm and a speck of caramel no exaggeration - unfortunately. I asked if she can just add a bit more she said no because it would take more time. That's fine I guess, but then we asked for the nuts that usually come with the Sunday, she said they don't have time to get it because there's a long line. I went to McDonald's for a quick meal before softball practice, First of all, they were out of carbonated drinks so I had to get a lemonade instead of sprite, second the service was pretty bad considering how rude our server was, she was talking through the speaker of the drive through telling us to hurry up!!! We weren't even taking very long, I understand that there are other customers but she could have communicated in a different way. So the nearby Starbucks had no empty tables. I remember the day before enjoying the free wi-fi at another McDonalds so pulled up here instead. Thankfully, this place also has free wi-fi! Unfortunately there were several people around the counter waiting for the order and a couple folks saying that there orders were wrong. It took a few minutes for a McD's employee to become available to take my order. I ordered "for here," but when I picked up my order, it was already bagged! and it turned out the iced nonfat latte I ordered was really regular iced coffee belonging to another order, so had to wait 30 seconds for my correct iced latte to be ready. There were plenty of tables available at this location which is a big plus and noticed several electrical outlets. The iced latte was pretty good! and so was the grilled chicken wrap. Second visit, person who took my order was friendly but the staff looked disorganized. It took a while to get my drink and when I finally got it, my iced latte was watered down! Could barely taste any espresso. And even though my order was for here, my order was still bagged to go. Will start going to another McDonald's location. read more

Really terrible customer service. I pulled up around 10:17 PM to obviously order dinner. When I pulled up to pay at the drive-thru there was LITERALLY no one there. Eventually a co-worker by the name of CHRIST took my money and brought me my food. Now he didn't politely give me my food. Christ literally tossed-grab the food at me and literally walks away. This dude is a joke. Who eats fries without ketchup??? I waited for another 4 mins since he left to literally sit at a table and I see a manager on his phone the WHOLE TIME. I took pictures of the manager pretending to work. Please look at them. You can tell that's a phone and Christ if you're reading this I hope you're not as garbage at customer service in the near future. If you dislike your job. Just Quit. The manager here with curly hair is a joke, he just stands there and I can see that he is very lazy. The only good employee here is Sebastian. He goes further and beyond to meet customer satisfaction. Originally it was one star but I bumped it up to a 2 star review because Sebastian was willing to show great work ethics. I happened to be in Monrovia & me & my sidekick were looking for a quick lunch when we spotted this place. I was confused at first because when I saw this MacDonald's from the street, it had a slash mark through the golden arches. Was this suppose to be a statement of some kind? An anti-MacDonald's perhaps? Rebellion against the giant fast food chain? A knock-off MacDonald's restaurant like in the Eddie Murphy comedy "Coming To America" ? Well, it was none of those things once I stepped inside, just a regular McDonald's. So much for being a part of a movement against the corporate big dogs. We ordered our food but had to wait a few minutes until the fries were cooked. In the meantime they had some fifties music playing. I imagined that was what my parents had to be listening too back in the day while dining on a cheeseburger at the burger joint. I'm sure a hamburger back then was probably 10 cents unlike the prices we pay today. Our food was prepared correctly & the fries were good. Interestingly enough I began to research what was really in Mac D's fillet-o-fish sandwich & cheeseburger while eating. What I thought was deadly like the fish fillet & the burger turned out not the biggest health risk at all. The real killer it turns out is the buns that they use.They use ingredients in the bread that are also common to making explosives! Damn! No wonder my stomach feels so bad if I gorge on junk food! What's up Ronald MacDonald? You trying to kill me or what? All this time I thought you were such a nice & wonderful clown! The staff was nice. But the place needs to be fumigated!! We were waiting for our food by counter and a baby roach was crawling on the counter, the manager casually grabs a receipt and kills it! I haven't been a fan of McDonald's for decades. Yes, decades. Back in the 90s when the franchise decided to change how they prepare their foods. Yes, I can go on and on about how things have changed... like an old geezer. You see, back in my day, the food was better, the sizes weren't so... supersized, the apple pies were fried and amazing. Even the happy meal toys were better. Perhaps the one thing that's not changed... their fries. Oh man, they were salty and crispy. If that's how you like them, then this is the place for you. I still stop by the franchise every now and then, usually not my choice. So it's been a while since I was last here though. Perhaps last year since I was at this McDiner. I was surprised to see that they had remodeled the counter, which now has the McCafe section now, much like the other McDonald's I've seen as of late. It certainly does look nicer. The dining area is spacious as always, with booths along the side and tables (fit for 4) in the middle. Currently have this promotion for 50 Chicken McNuggets for $9.99. The portion size is probably fit for a whole family rather than one person (though I'm sure many of you will try). They have new sauces as well, though since I haven't tried it, can't tell you how they are. To be honest, their chicken pieces are just okay. I prefer the spicy crispy chicken nuggets at Wendy's, and if you calculate the costs to get an equivalent... 50 for $9.90. Just sayin'... Plenty of parking. Drive-thru. A few outdoor tables. Men's and women's restrooms. No kids play area. Fountain dispenser on the outside (easy access to free refills). Ordered the Angus Burger combo, as well as a Chicken club combo. Both seemed prepared well enough. It's still not the place of my youth, but this McDiner has certainly made itself one of the better spots in the franchise. 3.5 stars. read more

I then called to have someone that barely spoke english tell me, that my card was there and his shift just started. Granted this is 2:15am. It's been a while since I've been here during the daytime but I remember it being one of the "better" McDonald's. It's been weird in the late hours- they've been cash only which hasn't been an issue, but the other night was something else. Around 3:30am- it was cash only, breakfast only, but weirdest of all- no receipts. This was especially weird when a bacon biscuit, hash brown, and sausage wrap came to exactly $10, then when the wrap was cancelled came out to exactly $8. More than if it was a meal- and the guy refused to present a receipt because "we don't do that at this hour". Man, I can't even get a donut without being offered a receipt but that's beyond the ability of a McDonald's? Good luck in the after-hours. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's, but this one seems to be a step above what I've come to expect of the chain. Clean location, and they always get my order right. During the Windstorm (12/1/11) they hung power strips from the outlets on the ceiling to people to use and plug in their phones (etc). Very nice. For a long time I've always seen people stretching their power cables up to these outlets in the ceiling above the booths to plug in their laptops or phones... recently, I saw that these outlets were now gone, and they had run them down the walls to put them at a level they could be easily accessed at. How awesome? Where most places would put them on the ceiling to avoid people using them and then block them off when people DID start using them, instead this McDonald's actually made a change to meet the popular demand of their customers.... what a novel idea!!! That, all on it's own, is an indication of the agenda of this McDonald's. I like it, and they will be rewarded with my business. read more

This is a fun location because it looks like a 50's Diner. I've been coming here for years and you can always depend on the consistency and great service. Yes, it's Mc Donald's and it's everywhere! Don't come here in the late hours. I ordered an Angus mushroom burger combo & it took them over 15 minutes to make it. What's worse about the situation is that the manager (who took my order) didn't even have the courtesy of letting me know why it's taking forever. When I asked what's taking so long, he casually brushed it off like not getting your food in a timely manner is not really a big deal. Maybe I came in when they had an incompetent staff on duty, but how do you come off taking that long for food to come out & act like nothing is up? Customer service really sucks late night at this location. I don't have high standards for fast food joints, but if you can't even get food out at a reasonable time when your "diner" is empty, it's time to get new employees. Also, when your manager on duty is cracking jokes and messing around with employees while NOTHING is getting done, somebody really needs to get their act together or get fired.
