We went for the free WIFI and a cup of Joe and left with a pocketful of stories. While quietly trying to get my Yelp on all of a sudden it sounded as if someone was beating up the bathroom. For what seemed like an eternity but was really only 5 seconds the entire dining area fell silent and the kitchen staff froze, spatulas in air. Screaming, cussing, kicking and banging of metal objects emanated from the mens room. Then five men ran towards the restroom and escorted the angry man out, steam rising from his head and cell phone still stuck to his ear while he continued to spit into it. Next, went up to get my first cup of coffee and am about to pump myself a cup when a non-homeless man (I know because I'm pretty sure he lived in his blue Mazda) crept up next to me and mumbled something incoherent. Startled, I turned around and jumped back a step. Apparently, that was the affect he wanted and he pushed me aside and grabbed himself a cup. I was ok with that would rather have him in front of me than behind me anyway. Mazda man grabbed his coffee and exited the scene in his car but that wasn't the last of him. Got my coffee sat down and stared out the window thinking about nothing in particular and saw a fairly well dressed woman digging through the garbage can. She pulled out a soda cup and a coffee cup then walked into the restaurant into the woman's restroom. Thirty seconds later she got her free "refill" at the soda machine then got her coffee as well. Then she stuffed the entire half and half containers into her pocket walked outside back to the garbage can where she dug out half a cigarette and enjoyed it while drinking her coffee and sipping on her soda. Re-enters Mazda man with an older woman. He escorts her to the woman's rest room where I can only assume she took a bath in the sink because he stood guard outside that door for 20 minutes. She finally exited and they drove off together. The person I was sitting with had many more stories such as these and said that all the people we saw that day were regulars. This McDonald's appears to have a very liberal policy in dealing with the homeless and less fortunate and I have to give them stars for that. I think it's a rare day when the police are called. read more

If I would have written this review 5 years ago, this particular Mc Donalds would have gotten a verbal beat-down. I was convinced they were out to screw-up my fast food experience by getting my order wrong. Every single time...something would be wrong. Not only that, the people working were just plain rude. It became a game for the wife and I. " What are they going to screw up this time? ". When the kids want a happy meal, what am I to do? This is the only Mc Donalds for 35 miles. Well, it's not 5 years ago. I am happy to say that this particular Mc Donalds has gotten their fast food act together. Every single time, in the last year, my order has been correct and fast. Stood at the counter no one helped me they told me to order on the kiosk. I ordered at the kiosk the number tag said they would bring the food out to me it was at the counter for a long time my food was cold. I asked why my food wasn't brought out to me the woman that was the manager was extremely rude to me and said we don't have an extra person. 1st of all there was no one in the drive through and it wasn't busy at all. The worst experience...EVER. I was here for a basketball tournament. We stopped by the drive thru on our way to Yosemite HS. There was a 10 min wait per car waiting at the service window. When we pulled up, there were 4 cars behind so we assumed our orders were correct. FAR FROM IT. Our biscuit sandwiches were cold, as was the coffee. I don't usually review fast food but I will on this one so hopefully the Management Team can see how this place is being operated. We were hungry after a long day at Yosemite so we decided to come here. I love McD's and the food is usually consistent. Drive through is usually quick at most locations...this one, not so much. I can't tell determine the issue (short staffed, crowded or slow employees) but it was a longggggg wait. Once we finally got to the window where they should just hand your order, we still had to wait a few more minutes but seemed like an eternity. After we got our food, the cashier even apologized for the wait so that's what one of the stars for. The people working today need to get a clue on customer service. I went in with my two kids after school and when we looked for a table there was maybe one clean. At least two have things that previous customers have left on it. We've been here nearly 45 minutes and I've heard then talking about personal stuff as well as laughing over making someone cry. Nice McDonald's. Average cheap fast food. Went through the drive through and took about 10 minutes with 5 cars in front of me so not bad wait time. Staff was friendly. Remember to ask for ketchup or sauces as they try to throw your foldaway and shut the window really fast to avoid giving you any. read more

We all know that COVID 19 has dramatically changed the landscape of the dining experience, but there is NO EXCUSE for the lack of safety precautions this restaurant does not take to insure the health of its customers. 1. There is no obvious visible signage that masks are required ( as per State Health Mandate ) No mask should be no service. ( if other stores can do it, why cant this store? 2. Crew members do not wear masks or wear them properly. Asthma is not an excuse. My niece is a severe asthmatic and wears her mask 24/7. Rule should be if you're handling food items, wear a mask, not on your chin. On your face. 3. Management need to be managers and make sure crew are following precautions. The management are not enforcing the rules of safety precautions. Crew don't have the regards of safety as a primary concern, then they should be sent home. 4. when customers have to tell the food server to put on a mask when handling food for public consumption, something is wrong with the picture. 5. Large stores such as Vons supermarket gets 99% customer compliance and 100% staff compliance, but this McDonalds can't get crew to wear a mask when in the vicinities or food preparation, that's sad and says how poorly run this franchise is. When you enter a McDonalds you have an expectation of properly and safely prepared food which meets certain parameters. Food safety and customer safety is being over looked and management is failing at its job. One manager in particular yells and belittles staff in the earshot cog the public, but it's not for the betterment of the customer experience, it's because he/she is having a temper tantrum which should not be happening within public hearing range. The staff are shown very little respect and their safety is as important and the customers, but when crew are allowed to become vectors for the spread of this virus, something proper must be done. Here we are weeks later and the safety precautions have all been thrown out the window. It's now vying for the dirtiest of McDonald a too. Nasty little "man" is the manager. I ordered a number 6 (nugget meal) large size and they literally gave me a quarter of a container of french fries and they were overcooked and darker brown than they should have been. They even asked me what type of sauce i wanted and then they forgot to give me any sauce at all.
