Great and friendly service. The weather was nice, so we decided to sit in the patio. Luckily there wasn't a long line when we arrived. We ordered lattes, pastries, omelet, and breakfast sandwich at the counter. There's a section for you grab the condiments by the counter. The lattes and hot food are brought to the table when they are ready. Everything was delicious, but pastries were exceptional. There's plenty of parking available and a perfect place to enjoy brunch before the long drive. I definitely recommend this place! Pro tips: check out their menu online to decide what you wanted before you get there so you can take time to decide on the pastries.

I don't usually post things like this, but I feel like I need to share my experience…read more I've been a regular customer at this coffee shop for months. I used to go almost every day, I've supported them consistently, bought drinks and beans there regularly, and it was part of my daily routine during a really difficult time in my life. My usual drink isn't available on their online ordering system, so I've always called ahead to place my order. That has never been an issue before. They knew my order so well that they referred to it as "the Amy Special," and there were times my drink was prepared ahead of time for me to pick up when I arrived. Today I called to place my usual order. I was told the person on the phone was the owner, and I was told they had been discussing my drink and that it was "very unusual," and that I would need to come in to order instead. I asked for clarification because I've always ordered the same way for months. I was told again that I would need to come in, and that my drink was too complicated to order over the phone. I explained that I've been ordering this drink the same way for a long time and that I've always been able to call it in before. After I said I was going through a hard time and wasn't really up for coming in, the call ended. When I called back, the phone was hung up on multiple times before I was able to briefly speak with someone again. When I did finally speak with someone I recognized, my reaction was emotional because I was confused and hurt by what was happening, and the interaction didn't feel like the experience I had come to expect from them. What I'm upset about is not that a business can change how they operate. What I'm upset about is that there was no clear communication that a policy had changed, and no explanation that made sense of why something that had been routine for months was suddenly not allowed. I'm sharing this because I genuinely thought I had a good relationship with this place as a customer, and today's experience didn't reflect that. This was a place I supported daily for a long time, and it became part of my routine during a period of my life when it genuinely mattered more than people probably realize. That's why today's experience felt so disappointing and hard to process.

Super aromatic and tasted even better since you can see them pulling the espresso shot. My friend's lavender latte was delicious. First floral note giving away to an excellent latte. They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. This coffee is worth going out of the way for since you will be leaving very happy after pleasant interactions and a deliiiiiicious coffee. 10/10!

They were too sweet, and the coffee flavor felt very light -- almost lost behind the milk and syrup. If you enjoy sweeter, milder drinks, this place might work for you. But if you're looking for a stronger, more noticeable coffee taste, it may not be the best choice. Overall, it's a nice spot, but the coffee itself didn't really stand out to me.

Hands down the BEST caramel macchiato with oat milk I've ever had -- and I've tried a lot. Somehow it's perfectly balanced every single time. The whole experience is just so cute and welcoming. I love the vibe inside with all of the plants, and walking up to the fresh flowers and greenery outside instantly makes it feel special before you even walk through the door. It's one of those places that just feels good to be in -- great coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and all the little details make it memorable. Only thing to know: sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, so maybe don't stop in if you're in a huge hurry... but if you have the time, it is 100% worth it. Love everything about this place and already looking forward to my next stop back in Bass Lake

This would be a great place to study or relax. They also have a sunny outdoor patio. I visited during Memorial Day Weekend, so it was expectedly packed. We waited awhile to order and pick up our food/drinks. The walls showed a range of very cute merch. The food was a bit pricey, which we expected given this tourist location. However, the portions were generous. The breakfast sandwich and acai bowl were both solid, classic brunch items. We also all enjoyed our drinks. The matcha was nice and strong, and there was a lovely cream top. I'd definitely visit this cafe again when I come to Bass Lake!

My observations alerted me to a communal yet cozy setting, with shared table and comfortable benches. This establishment feels magical to me. The floor is clean and the wooden tables and benches are inviting. I noticed that they have regular customers, as one after another, the customers were greeted by name with hugs and big smiles. Savanna (sic) greeted me and took my orders: small latte & ricotta + egg toast. My Ricotta + egg toast was delicious and the presentation was nicely done. The ingredients looked simple and the herbs tasted fresh and clean. The dish was perfectly seasoned. I tasted a little 'heat' at the back of my throat, but that's something I can handle. I even enjoyed the green sauce over the top. LOL! My order of latte was smooth and creamy. No sugar needed here. The creamy milk did its job. Savanna made my coffee after taking the order, and I complimented her on the delicious coffee. Would I go back? You betcha! And I'll bring my friends. Note: There's seating outdoors as well for those who bring their four-legged family members

Not a bad place to stop by on the way to Yosemite.

It's the kind of place where the coffee is strong, the portions are hearty, and the Second Amendment is very much alive and well -- possibly laminated and framed near the register. The steak and eggs are a rite of passage. No frills, no avocado garnish, just straight-up protein power for whatever wilderness adventure (or political debate) lies ahead. The décor leans more "hunting lodge realism" than "Instagrammable brunch spot," and honestly, that's the charm. It's a locals' spot through and through, where everyone knows your truck, your dog's name, and probably how many tags you've filled this season. Steve's is less café, more Mariposa institution -- a hearty, proudly unfiltered spot where breakfast comes with gravy, grit, and a side of freedom. Bring your appetite, your flannel, and maybe your best tall tale.
