I've lived about a mile from this location for 4 years, but I drive 10 minutes out of my way to avoid this one and every time I decide to give this place another chance, I regret it. This McDonalds is terrible! McDonalds already has the reputation of having broken equipment constantly, but I have never seen one like this. I work close to here so I occasionally visit but will not be coming back. I just came today and their credit card machine was broken and there was no sign or anything so I waited in line only to be disappointed when I tried to complete my order. The time I came before that they had No soda at all and refused to discount the meal because I didn't get a soda. Instead they told me I could get tea which I didn't want. I doubt management or anybody that SHOULD care will read this but it's worth a shot. Last night, my husband, our daughter and I came here for a late dinner. My husband (combat veteran and active national guard service member) isn't supposed to be in uniform unless he is making a quick stop on his way home but our daughter and I wanted to meet him for dinner. Matthew (employee) saw that my husband was in uniform and went above and beyond his obligations as an employee to make sure we were taken care of. I don't do reviews on fast food establishments but after last night I knew I needed to. This young man needs acknowledging from his management team. I'm positive that if my husband wasn't in uniform that we would have gotten the same treatment from him. Matthew, I don't know your age but you seem pretty young so if you read this; you deserve a lot more than what I'm sure you're getting from McDonalds. You told us that you had a close family member in the service so thank them for us for their service to this country. Keep being a good person and great things will come to you one day. My child and I stop by this McDonalds last week and we had such a bad experience. As soon as we walked up there was a couple of homeless people asking for money. Once inside we used the restroom and it was gross! What really upset me was when I ordered. The employee wouldn't give me a receipt. She told me they don't give out receipts but that she could take a picture of my order with my phone. Really?!! When my order was taking forever I went to ask about why it was taking a while and it turns out that it had been sitting there for a while along with a bunch of orders that they didn't call out. I think the main reason why McDonalds is not doing good is because of their under paid workers. I used the drive thru to order a #1 and a kids meal. I requested for a well done fries, ketchup and sweet and sour sauce for the nuggets. When I got home, the fries were not well done, no ketchup, no sweet and sour and no straw for drink. If you're going to this Ontario Mills McDonalds make sure that you check your order because the workers here just have a hard time taking orders. I went to this McDonalds at 2 p.m. on a Monday it wasn't very busy I thought I lucked out. Although now that I got my food I would have rather waited in line then get this soggy old food I got a 20 piece chicken nugget to share. they were complete mush inside and greasy on the outside. We asked for two different sauces and instead got sauce that we didn't even ask for. we had to eat are chicken nuggets plain and mushy. Just went through the drive thru at this location and I'm pretty annoyed. The only reason this location is getting 2 stars is because of the employee taking the payments at the first window. She was very friendly and good attitude. Then I go to the second window to get my food and it's a whole different story. She was rushing me like there were people being me when there weren't. I asked for extra ketchup and she said she put some in my bag already. I asked for a little more since that is the only dipping sauce I use and I was given 2 more and a whole lot of attitude. I then told her that I had 2 orders and would like some ketchup in the other bag as well and I was given the same response with attitude and no extra ketchup. Well they never did and people in the other lines order kept being taken. I went to the drive-thru today and nobody responded to the speaker, not a soul. I waited for a while and kept saying "hello?" and no one answered. So, I pulled up to the cashier window and NO ONE was standing there. Window was closed and no one walked by or any sign of life. I waited and stalled at both stations. Then, I drove to the pick-up window and NO one was standing there either. This is around late afternoon (5pm?). I see a cashier at the other counter helping customers but still, no one was at the window. No one seemed to be working or walking around, so it didn't even seem like there were open. Later, I see him talking and I finally see a manager walk by, and I literally had to wave my hands over and stick my arm out to make myself visible. Finally, a lady walks up to open the window and asked, "can I help you?" WELL DUH! In my head, are they CLOSED? (maybe they should be). So, I'm like.. can I take my order? I only wanted a SWEET TEA because I was so thirsty. I was so frustrated, I was going to just complain and leave, but I was too thirsty. I am never coming back here. Cashier at the window should have a warning. No one at the drive-thru, nor were they at the cashier window, and not a person at the pick-up.
