Went to Hamburger Mary's for my first ever drag show and it was such an amazing experience! I didn't know what to expect, but it ended up being SO much fun. Reina was absolutely fabulous! truly the host with the most! She had everyone laughing, engaged, and feeling comfortable the entire time. The DJ kept the energy going with great music, the food was really good, and the whole place was clean with a great vibe. As a first-timer, I felt welcomed and had the best time. Definitely something everyone should try at least once I'll for sure be back! read more

Ive been to this place many times. The last time I was here was about two years ago for my friends birthday and I had amazing time however this was the most disappointing experience I had. I made a reservation through Yelp when the drag event was first announced DO NOT MAKE IT THROUGH YELP they will screw you over, claim you made it last minute even though you made it far in advance and try to seat you in the back corner at a table that only seats 4 people when we were a party of 5. We had to grab a chair from the bar since one of our party literally couldn't even fit a butt cheak on the seat. Luckily our waitress was amazing and moved us so we were able to see the drag show which we had to pay a cover charge for. If it wasn't for our amazing waitress we would of asked for our money back. About 20 minutes later the hostess tried to argue with our table about moving us back to the corner and this time I made sure to let them know we were moved here. What made me so upset is I told them we were moved here by one of their staff members and she insisted arguing with our table. As someone who had worked in the table service industry at a very popular theme park for 5 years I usually am very understanding in all types of situations but this was completely disappointing, and made us very uncomfortable. The only reason I am leaving a 3 star review is for our amazing waitress who went above and beyond with our service, ,food, drinks and of course the amazing queens who put on a great show. read more

Such a fun place to visit with friends! We came with our Yelp Elite group and had a fantastic time from start to finish. We played bingo, enjoyed amazing drinks, delicious appetizers, and great hamburgers. The highlight of the night was definitely the entertainment, the drag queens were absolutely fabulous! They were stunning, energetic, and incredibly fun to watch. The service was good, especially considering how busy it was with a full house. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and have a great time. We even made some new friends along the way. If you're planning to go, be sure to bring dollar bills so you can tip the amazing performers, they truly deserve it! Where to start? This was an amazing experience! My bf and I wanted to change things a bit and do something different. He suggested Hamburger Mary's knowing that I've never done anything like this. His mom had mentioned to him that it is a lot of fun so we decided to make reservations and go for the show. We showed up EXTREMELY early, noobs. We were there around 5:30pm and were worried because the parking lot was pretty empty... we didn't let that keep us out so we built courage to walk in anyway. We were literally the first party to get here and were told the show starts at 7pm so it makes sense... On the bright side, we were able to enjoy their happy hour for drinks and appetizers. They have 2 main areas, the normal dinning/bar area for guests not enjoying the show and the show side. If you are staying for the show there is a $10 fee per guest. Also, make sure you bring cash for tipping the performers in $1 bills. The restaurant offers service of charging larger bills into ones. The performers were all amazing and super engaging! There were all sorts of groups as guests from families celebrating a 16th bday, couples, groups of friends, and even solo people. They have a similar setup as a comedy club with large tables that they go filling up and some tables given to single parties that are big/small enough. They have multiple performers come out and a break in between. I wasn't expecting much for the food since you are here for the show. We were very dry pleasantly surprised with how good the food and drinks were. My bf wasn't drinking so he had the spicy mango margarita mocktail and it was DELICIOUS! I had Michelob ultra on tap. We ordered the carne asada fries and they were very tasty with enough meat and extras. We decided to share a burger as I don't eat too much and I'm glad we did! The burger was really good and I was surprised as to how you can change everything on them from the bread to the protein to meet your dietary needs. They were very nice to split the burger for us at no extra charge! Overall if you haven't yet, you need to come and experience the show and food! Close to everything,great parking but not too crazy crowded! The exterior looks like a normal restaurant. As you enter those doors, you are greeted right away. You can't help but notice the full bar setup right behind the greeting area. The ambiance is a combination of trendy, old school, speakeasy and theater combined all into one. It's muchore upscale than the one in WEHO, which is more like a beach vibe Flo's diner! Now the food! Do not exoeta filet mignon or surf and turf with a side of truffle fries! Definitely diner yummy! We had a taste of the pesto chicken sandwich and cheeseburgers. The pesto chicken had a great taste! Well seasoned and tender and moist chicken! Would order it again! 4 The hamburger was a bit bland but the bun was fresh with yummy saucea. 3 The french fries were crispy and soft inside. Great amount of salt. 5 The salad with mozzarella balls and such a crisp and sweet dressing. Really loved it! 5 The fried appetizer combo was alright. The mozzarella sticks were still cold. The fried pickles were yummy and so were the cheez balls! The nachos were not appetizing at all. 1 out of 5! Drinks ... Definitely had strong flavors! Not alot of alcohol, but the sugar and fruit mix made them yummy! 4 The service was good. We were there for an event, and it seemed as though they were overwhelmed. Amazing entertainment and customer service!! Was there as a group to celebrate my Sister's birthday in March and it was a fun and memorable night! The food was surprisingly delicious too. I ordered a Shrimp Caesar Salad and had a bite of my Sister's Salmon. We both also ordered Virgin Lemon Drops and those were really good! A couple of our friends were a bit disappointed in the Mexican Candy shots they ordered, but other than that the vibes are always awesome with a high energy ambiance. GREAT BURGERS & DRINKS! Oof, the burgers are super tasty at this grille! I had a mushroom burger, it was so yummy, my fries were nice and crisp too. I also ordered Mac & Cheese Balls for my appetizer, absolutely perfect. The drinks were flavorful, I had two rounds of what I think was called a "Berry Daddy"? It gets a huge recommendation from me, perfect for a slow night after a hard day! Prices for some of the food are a bit crazy, but hey rent space is expensive in Ontario. I paid $74 for just myself. That included two drinks, a meal, and an appetizer. If you're looking for a bargain, certain nights have special offers and deals. I didn't particularly like the offerings so I bit the bullet. Service was nice, the waitress wasn't pushy with any of the customers, yet she was still kind enough to ask everyone if this was their first time at Mary's. The music was really vibing, there were only a few songs that lost the attention of the crowd. I had a good time! I came here twice and was surprised that I haven't written a review yet! My girlfriend and I always come during their drag shows. First time was pokemon themed and the second time was wicked themed. The drag queens (and sometimes drag kings) are so funny and entertaining. We always have such a great time. The food here is expensive, however, it's worth it because I'm pretty sure the money goes to the restaurant to continue to have their drag shows. Instagram is the most up to date on when you make reservations for drag shows. There is a show fee so I suggest getting from the brunch menu that includes the show fee or you need to pay an additional fee separately. Although they have a lot of choices for the meals, I don't like how we need to pay extra to substitute to vegan options. The food menu is already expensive. My non vegan girlfriend enjoyed her chilaquiles. I thought my burger was okay. They were out of vegan cheese and they still charged me for it. The server told me they don't charge extra to make certain meals vegan, and he still charged me extra. I took it up with the server and he removed the extra fees. If I hadn't mentioned, he would've left it there. I like that the bottomless mimosas were strong and so were the other drinks. I was initially going to put 3 stars but the shows are always so fun. They have men/women restrooms. Highly suggest bringing cash to tip your drag queens and kings. They have an ATM. Large lot. Parking is free. read more

So I gave this place a second chance years after my first visit. I figured with four stars and "hamburger" right in the name, should be ok. The burger was bad! It had a skimpy patty with a strange taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Virtually all the components of the burger were weird including the greasy bun. Let me start with all the performances were truly amazing. Host did a fantastic job with keeping the audience engaged. Ambience was thrilling and never a bore. My bbq bacon burger did not disappoint or my skinny margarita. Paid 140$ for 2 ppl. Hands down one of the most fun nights I've had in forever! The Disney Villains drag performance at Hamburger Mary's Ontario was iconic. Every queen brought the drama, the attitude, and the villain energy it was giving Ursula meets Maleficent meets pure chaos in the best way possible.They were so funny the witty jokes and quick comebacks had us cracking up the entire night! The costumes were everything: sparkly, dramatic, and totally Disney villain perfection. Me and my friend ordered drinks and wings and everything was so yummy. Our server was totally on it fast, friendly, and super fun. After the show, we took photos with the performers and they were absolute sweethearts. You can tell they love what they do. I am so coming back for another show! Pro tip: bring your dollar bills the ATM on site is a total lifesaver, and the host will happily break your bills for tips. read more

OMG! I had the most amazing time at my 1st Elite Yelp Event. It was absolutely amazing getting to meet so many new people from all walks of live during the Hamburger Mary's Bingo night! I had a Mango Margarita (not pictured) and had them add chamoy! It's a game changer. Out of everything I tried, of course, the burger was the best item. It's juicy and full of flavor. The strawberry salad was a pleasant surprise. I actually thought it was pretty good and I don't like sweet salads. The nachos weren't my favorite but that's a preference because I don't like nacho cheese, I prefer shredded cheese melted with drizzles of queso dip. The pesto chicken sandwich also lacked flavor in my opinion. The pesto was full of flavor but the chicken itself lacked seasoning. The cheese curds were pretty good. Hamburger Mary's itself is a fun and trendy place to have a meal and some fun. I absolutely love the drag queen brunch. This was my first time there for a bingo event and it was fun also. This is such a fun place to go to! I love the variety of events they offer and all of the talent they bring to the stage and floor. I have been to this location several times including a brunch, evening show and bingo. I take away one star because one evening following bingo I stayed for the show and my table was never serviced. All of the surrounding tables were but mine was not. It felt very strange and personal but I was happier to give the money I was going to use towards food, drinks and tips to the performers instead as bonus. It's not going to prevent me from coming back but does make me hesitant and may consider the other locations first. read more

I went to Hamburger May's in Ontario to support my daughter's roller derby team. It was bingo night on a Wednesday and Hamburger Mary's has this regularly. The venue was nice. It's a standard restaurant with a lot of seating plus it converts into a mini club for the drag shows that the place puts on. The wait staff is very cool, and the service was good despite it being busy and so much going on with the bingo event. The place does a great job making sure that you get a carafe of water so you don't have to keep asking the wait staff for it. We ordered an appetizer, meals, and beverages, our appetizer was the fried mac & cheese balls, and they were delicious a kin to what you would get from the cheesecake factory. The burger was pretty good, the patty was deliciously prepared and was very savory. We also ordered the salmon and that was just all right; it was fishy. I don't know if I would go there again to eat, although their burger was delicious and I take it that is what they're known for. Right after the bingo, which ended around 8:30 PM, the venue was preparing for the drag show. We couldn't stay, but I heard it was a lot of fun. Enjoy! PS. The food was good. I would want to go back and try more food items; I only had the fried pickles. They were delicious. One of the best fried pickles that I have tried. The drinks were good too. They also offer specialty drinks that are not listed on the menu. You have to ask for it. The one thing that I had a problem with was that there were no prices on the menu. So, you don't know how much things cost until you receive the bill, and it just adds up. The drag queens were fun and interactive. It was a Halloween theme when I went. This was my first time at Mary's. We went for the Drag Brunch and it did not disappoint! The food was good (those bottomless mimosas! !), our server Brians was excellent and the performers were FANTASTIC!!! We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they made her, along with the other guests celebrating, feel special by taking them up onstage and giving them each their own shout out! The only negative was that it was quite warm inside the restaurant. We felt bad for the performers and servers who were working so hard even in the heat. We decided to have dinner and a show. Drag show that is. We went for brunch. The food was amazing, my burger cook perfectly. The portions size was enough and more. What can I say about the cocktails . Well, good thing I had a driver. The show was sold out and our waiter still provided excellent service. Now for the fireworks of the show. Loved the ambience, and the energy of the crowds. Love how the host of the prom came up to us to make sure we were at the right event--it was our first time at the venue. They checked ID'S fairly quickly, and got us seated. Next time I go, I'll definitely sit closer to the stage area. Love that there was a dance floor before the show--we had so much fun! I didn't try the food myself, so I can't vouch for that aspect of my visit. Overall, it was a great night of celebrating Pride and authenticity. I came for the Horror nights show at 8pm on Saturday yesterday. Great apps, awesome service (the servers are so attentive and nice!), such a variety of talents at this Ontario location. Reyna was our host and had some amazing sets, she really showed our first timers what an experience Hamburger Mary's could be. I can't remember all the wonderful queens who performed but everyone was FAB-ulous! My jaw dropped several times, in a great way ;D. Can't wait to come back again soon. read more
