Places like Tikka Shack are one of the places that can provide that education. Introducing Indian flavors in familiar dishes is a good way to transform picky eaters into true gormands. I wanted a quick, delicious dinner one evening before heading out on a road trip the next day. So I swung by to see what this recent move-in had to offer sleepy little Oviedo. Ambiance was very, well, Oviedo. A giant mural adorned the wall. Chickens, the Welcome sign, even a sandhill crane. It was very pretty. Service was superb. There was a nice cashier lady who gave off a owner or manager aura. We talked through the menu together and came up with a couple of delicious options for me to order. Option one was the Tikka Chicken Pizza (Tikka Sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes on a Naan crust topped with cilantro). This thing was a lot of fun! A nice, thin, crispy crust, and mozz. But accompanied by a delicious tikka sauce. A little freshness from the onions and the tomatoes, and you have a very nice pie here. Something like that pizza is something a kid would try, or a subdued palate adult would try, and act as a gateway dish that would get them deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is the best cuisine on the planet. I love it. I also had a curry, which was nice. Very flavorful. I was expecting a little bland, but no, lots of good spice and flavor. Accompanied with a proper amount of basmati rice. Yummy. And I accented the whole meal with a cheesey, garlicky naan. Which is probably universally accepted as the best bread on the planet. Love that naan. Wash it all down with a mango lassi, and this place knocked my socks off. I don't know what brought them here to Oviedo, but I sure am glad they came. It's nice knowing that I have a fast-casual Indian place right down the road. Will definitely be back.

As a 14+ year kitchen manager i can tell you that there should be nothing more important than a customer that walks in your store, online orders can wait. I highly recommend that the manager sit their employees down and explain to them that one of those employees could of stopped working on that online order and taken care of the physical customer in your store and let the other two work on the online order. If a person ordering online comes in and sees a store busy they'll understand, but a person walks into a restaurant and has to sit and wait in a empty restaurant for you to make orders for someone who isn't even there is ridiculou.
