We visited the Harbor and this McDonald's was the only one in the area. The drive thru was wrapped around the building so we went in. The lobby had the kiosk to order, but you couldn't tell who was waiting for food and who was in line, so I asked the man in front of me if he was in line and he caught an attitude because he had to remove his earbuds. He said aren't we all waiting. I was about to get on his level, but I figured out where the line was, because it was people everywhere. Sheesh!! People aren't cordial nowadays it seems. We ordered our food and waited, and waited, and waited... 25 minutes was a long time for FAST food!! I got the McRib meal which was McNasty. The patty was cold and the meat felt like it was an animal I shouldn't have been eating. Lol. McWow!! It was soft and kinda weird. I know people seem to love it, but why??It was also very messy, the bun kept sliding around and bbq sauce was everywhere!!! The burger I got was good and loaded with toppings and their nuggets were top notch like the old school nuggets I remember, not whatever the new nuggets they serve at some McDonald's are. The prices have really increased, so getting cheap food from McDonald's is a thing of the past. The bathroom was kinda not clean. It served it's purpose though. There was one nice employee who was very accommodating, but everyone else wouldn't even acknowledge anyone. The people who paid with cash waited for about 10 minutes before anyone even came to the counter. This place is pretty busy, so be prepared. After a day of running around, work, and settling in at the hotel for the upcoming training, I was in no mood for any type of sit down meal. I was looking for fast and what some would consider convenient. Since I was nearby, I decided to make this my last stop before turning in for the night. I'm not the biggest McDonald's fan, but sometimes a let down is just a let down. I should have known this was going to be kind of a nightmare from the moment I entered the parking lot. This is basically on an island between busy stretches of roads. The only way to get here is by vehicle. It is right up next to a gas station and compounds how bad the traffic here can be. I attempted to get in line for the drive thru and the parking lot for McDonald's is so messed up that a traffic jam can happen when you just want to get to the drive thru. I had to wait for several vehicles to back out before I could even get to the ordering kiosk. Finally was able to place my order and pay. I made sure my order was correct before pulling away and I was on my way. Finally got to eat my food, nothing extremely over the top that no one knows already about the food. However, the ingredients could have been fresher. The bun for the Big Mac was hard, stale, like it was sitting out way too long for it to be used. If I wanted a hockey puck, I would have ordered that. read more

Got the Deluxe McCrispy. It was fresh of the grille. Generous amount of lettuce and tomato and not too much mayo. Fries, as always, were excellent. Service was friendly. It also was thorough; like eating at a higher-end sit down restaurant: staff checked with me to see how the food was and whether I needed anything else. Heard the manager making sure that the bathrooms were clean as I ate,. Glad to have heard that. And the employees acknowledging that they'd already been on it. The *view* from this location's spectacular. It's a gorgeous panarama of the Potomac River. They seem to get a bad rep for whatever reason, but Macca's (as they're known affectionately in Australia) is one of those brands I feel I can count on for consistency. While the Big Mac has long been one of my faves, their breakfast muffins are another fave of mine that we turn to especially when we're on the road and stuck for breakfast options. We walked here all the way from Gaylord Resort down the road on a recent morning, and weren't disappointed. Service was quick and friendly, food was delicious and inexpensive, and the dining room was perfectly abuzz with a mixed crowed. I would also like to add that the milkshakes here actually look like their flavors, strawberry looks poke strawberry chocolate looks like chocolate. The night shift is straight trash. The night manager trash too. Only person working hard is the fella with the glasses. The others sit around avoid work, and the way they talk to customers...it's repulsive. One night I came in here and two of the employees were going at each other's throats over something petty. One of the 2 night managers (both trash) but the one working that night literally didn't do a thing to calm the situation down between the 2 other employees. In fact she was laughing like this is normal behavior. It's not. I will say this McDonald's has a better day shift...but the overnight shift...it's a fucking joke. I work nearby and I'm constantly frustrated by the complete incompetence and stupidity of the management team of this location. They're constantly directing people to use the kiosk and will refuse to take an order live... They move slower than molasses..
