Ok I think I'm more qualified to speak of this place than anyone, considering I've been coming everyday for a month. This place deserves 5 stars. Yes, I know it's McDonalds. No, the food isn't gourmet. But for a fast food restaurant, this E Foothill McDonalds is the 5-star of Fast food restaurants. Here's why: Beautiful Interior The interior is beautiful. It's brand new and very tastefully decorated. It's also kept extremely clean. The floors and tables are never sticky. And best of all you never get that icky feeling that you're in dirty place. Plentiful Outlets Numerous (4+) outlets for charging your phone or laptop. Feel free to sit down and do some work, starbucks style, for hours. But buy something please, don't be a freeloader. The staff is too professional to say anything but still. Professional Service Speaking of professional, the service is excellent. They never screw up orders and always have a smile or at least are polite. They treat customers better than some waiters I've seen. Food Served to your Table Once you order, you don't need to stand around near the line like a chump, wondering what drives you to make the food choices you do. Instead, they give you a little metal receipt holder that you place on your table when you sit down. When the food is ready a server brings the food to you on a tray. Coffee Refills (morning) I need to cut back on my coffee intake but it's so hard when you're working on something difficult and a nice lady walks around offering you a coffee refill. I've had 5+ cups in a morning before, no questions asked or judging looks. WIFI Free Wifi. Not the fastest but it'll check Gmail and Facebook. Food The food is typical McDonalds food. What were you expecting? They don't screw the food up at least, like some other McDonalds I've been to. Depends on the time of day that I go here. The day shift staff working the drive-thru is efficient, nice, and gets the order right. If they forget something, they apologize, if I check before driving off. The night shift isn't as efficient. Just went thru the drive-thru (8:15pm) for a VERY simple order of 2 pies and a large order of fries. I had to wait for about 8 minutes (no problem for me), but then to find out when I got home 5 minutes later that the fries were COLD and SOGGY and one pie was hot and the other one cold ... yeah, that burns me up. So I waited for 8 minutes to have "old" food? What were they doing in there?? I don't buy into the excuses of how they aren't paid enough blahblahblah ... you earn pay based on your work. This McDonald looks good on the outside but just try & get a "Iced Mocha" here! The machine is broken, it's being cleaned always some excuse. Today I orders a lg Iced Mocha, we don't have any today but we gave a blended mocha, OK I'll have a lg one, chicken nuggets & mango smoothie. Not a hard order. When paying repeated order & she said yes in a snotty way. P/U order no blended, but I ordered it, only 2 items paid for, can we fix it? "NO" wonderful customer service. She had good energy and a very calm disposition.The other employees that handed me my order barely acknowledged. Manager didn't greet so I knocked off a star for that reason. Order#07 on 12/02/2018 @ 9:35a.m. Ordering my breakfast was a headache!!! Staff here do not communicate with one another regarding an order, let alone customer service. My order had to be reiterated several times, at several levels, before being what I ordered. My order even went back a second time with nothing changed??!! From ordering at the box to last window, lack of attention to detail and TRAINING. Simple order became very difficult. The drive-through line cutting situation at this location happens regularly due to the split lane drive-through ordering stations. There are simple solutions if the store manager wants to address the issue, for example by installing some lane divider posts along the outer lane so people can't cut in; or eliminating one of the ordering stations altogether. It doesn't really save much time by having two unless you are the one cutting in. read more

This place deserves a zero star rating if there is one. All McDonald franchises offered products with similar quality. Service at this location is worst among other McDonald restaurants in the nearby vicinity. Ordered coffee and two sandwiches. Tendered cash with coupon for 2nd sandwich, free. Totaled up wrong, without coupon consideration. (The coupon was heavily promoted by all McDonald restaurants including this location.) When questioned, the supervisor manager instructed to process as separate cash refund of the 2nd sandwich. Seems fine. At the table, a recap of cash change received does not total up. Concluded change for the initial purchase was wrong, and invoice was not given. Asked the table server to see the manager. The response was "WHAT" do you want? An interrogation. Briefly explained the change was incorrect and asked to see the manager. The server simply walk away without saying anything, an attitude problem. 15 minutes later, asked the server again as no one come by the table. Server said the manager was told, but the manager said he is "busy". Told server that the client is busy too, and client has to leave, client is your business, not an interruption to your business. Asked for the name of manager. Server said manager is Gerrado, and there is nothing the server can do. Finished my meal for another 10 minutes, still no one come by to address the issue. Finally walked up to the counter with all the change received and asked to see the manager. The manager was talking inside the kitchen saying something that is inaudible, maybe saying he is busy flipping burger. A drive thru supervisor came by and after listening, process a new purchase with one coffee and one sandwich, and gave the correct change. When returned to the table to finish my coffee, the manager came out sit down and chat with his friends at another table. It appears the table server at this location lacks training or not qualified, a direct reflection on the management on how they select and hire front line staff. You can't help but conclude the manager himself is not yet qualified. Maybe he won't. read more

World's slowest McDonald goes to this place! Took a solid 20-25 minutes to get our food. Our numbers were on the very top of the screen for a good 15 minutes but they keep calling numbers after ours. Usually I come here and things are fine and anyone can have a bad night. But it irritates me when u ask for no sausage and they give u sausage. U ask for one without, they give you back a sandwich that you can smell had sausage on it and when they took my bag, they spilled the fries all over the bag and once we got home, we realized they only gave us one of the two sandwiches back. BUTTERMILK CRISPY TENDERS Next time, just have the manager hold us up at gunpoint and take our money. It would have been more rewarding than this experience. We received a glossy flyer in the mail from MCD on the same day as our visit. It featured the new Buttermilk crispy tenders. The chicken is light golden brown. It looks moist and flavorful. We drove over to this location and placed a carryout order for two 10 piece orders. When we got home we found dark, deeply over-fried, overcooked, dry, and tasteless 20 pieces of chicken. $20 right down the drain. It was bad. Real bad. If this is "raising the bar for a... better experience" as stated in the glossy flyer, then MCD really needs to clean house somewhere before the stockholders and analysts taste this latest dish. God help us all. My immediate advice: if you must try it, then order just 1 tender if you can. And eat it in the store. Good luck. What we got was burned ugly trash. Dark brown Inedible. Not Golden brown. Maybe not even real chicken. Clearly, the franchise owner and operator/manager do not have their act together. I suspect there are many other customers with the same experience. Since burgers and fries go out without management intervention, what can go wrong for a new product in the hand of a teenage fry cook? So it looks like we won't be returning to this location, and not even McDonalds for a long time. My suggestion: fire the jerk on the fryer, discipline the manager, have a chat with regional managers, conduct a heated conversation with the franchise owner, and do something about the training of the unmotivated employees in this store. And then retrain the fry staff. And then test the fry staff. And fire the one on the bottom. Don't let anybody fry Buttermilk Chicken Tenders UNTIL they can prove that the tenders look like the picture and taste like the description. All that advertising money. Social media. Television. Print. Mail. Web Email. All ruined by inept uncaring employees, staff, and management, and owner. Make no mistake - the owner is the real culprit, thinking this is a "hands-off business", allowing him or her or they to golf, vacation, or whatever. National Brand image takes a nose dive with this type of presentation. Ray Kroc must be turning over in his grave. National advertising combined with poor local store management. On 11/12/17, I went thru the drive thru around 7pm, ordered some food but there was delays so they asked me to wait in a parking spot. So I proceeded to park and wait, so it's taking a while a long while. So I end up walking in and the girl who asked me to wait looks puzzled. I ask what happened and she don't say word and asks some people in the kitchen. Tells me 3 more minutes, I'm like seriously and she don't respond. So I just tell her to give me a refund for the item, she asks someone and I can hear the person say go ahead and give him the refund. So she does but never said sorry for the delay. Literally the worst McDonalds. I work at a hospital nearby and me and my coworkers have all agreed not to go here anymore. They're always doing cash only or closing the drive thru for no reason. They start serving breakfast at 3 instead of 0430 and there is no sign indicating that. My food is almost always wrong and there's is often only one to two people working. Give them more employees over night if they need help! It's terrible. I know it's a small detail but me and my coworkers laugh at the fact that the hash browns are always so fried they become chips. I can't emphasize how done I am with this place. This is coming from a team of night shift so I don't know how it is during the day but honestly it shouldn't matter. The food is good, but AWFUL customer service specially from the cashier (young petite Hispanic girl) always has an attitude, like I am not a paying customer. I ask for 8 creams 2 sugars for 2 medium coffees and she gives me 20 creams 5 sugars literally trying to be funny.
