Lovely interior that's perfect as a study or date spot! They offer a lovely selection of drinks, snacks, brunch items, and ice cream! We tried their hojicha roasted green tea and loved it! I'll definitely be back to check out their other menu items!

Oh no... Fika Fika you've ruined all future lattes for me because this was peak and I doubt I'll ever have better. I know this is dramatic to say but I truly mean it, this was the BEST iced coffee I've ever had in my life! Very bright and somewhat small cafe in downtown Pasadena. Staff were warm and welcoming as soon as we walked in. I love jasmine milk tea and I love iced coffee, now imagine some sort of sorcery happening to perfectly combining the two, and that yields Fika Fika Coffee's Jasmine Floral Latte. I got mine with oat milk and regular sweetness. It was just perfect? Perfect sweetness. Perfect harmony of jasmine taste and espresso without overpowering the other. There was even fresh jasmine petals in there which really amplified the fresh jasmine taste. I am going to crave this all the time! Time to lament living 5.5 hours from this place :')

Can they bring back the waffles? My girls were very disappointed because they don't serve waffles anymore at this location. We went on a Sunday afternoon, the wait in line was long. Hopefully it is just that day. The restaurant's light is too white, I think if they change it to a more yellow light, it will be better. Feel like we are in an office not a restaurant, but maybe it is good lighting for students who are studying there. They have mostly small tables only. Not good for big party (4+). Will still come back and hope they will bring back the waffles.

    Seating area

This place is great for studying and grabbing a quick drink. A decent amount of tables and some chargers here and there. It is usually fairly empty but sometimes it can be pretty packed at times. The drinks and food is pretty average nothing amazing or out there. Its all average priced with drinks between 6-8.50 and the snack food is alright. Definitely recommend the popcorn chicken over the fries. The actual plate foods are good but i think slightly too pricy in my opinion. The one thing that bothered me was the ice cream. Im not sure if its when i went , but it tasted really horrible and chewy. The ice cream was like gum and somehow had little to no flavor.

Yummy Garden Spring Salad! Perfect amount of vinegar for a nice kick. Great flavor. Came here for a quick bite. Didn't have to wait too long. Came in a to-go bag. Love that they are environmentally friendly with their bag and to-go box!! They have menus on wooden tablets which is very handy. The ice cream was very enticing. Maybe next time if I'm in the area. Lots of seats and tables available, although some tables are not that big. The interior is nice. Friendly staff! Nice place to chat and study/read.

This was the first time trying the Pasadena location of Fika Fika, though we've been to the Arcadia one quite a few times before! The space here is quite a bit smaller, but there are still a good number of tables. There is also a lot of parking in a public lot around the back of the building. I got the Thai Tea Latte and, while it is only served iced which is disappointing, the flavor was very good!

There's a private lot behind this location for parking. The seating is slightly limited since this location is smaller than the other. But good enough to do some work/studying. It's a chill atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. I got the hot So Matcha So Floral with the lavender flavor. It was really good. It was regular hot temperature so you can immediately! I did regular sweetness amd it was perfect. Noticeable matcha flavor. I usually nurse my drinks but I finished this easily! I'd definitely get it again.

The pink cups are cute and they even had ice cream (but I didn't get a chance to try). There's a green strip of street parking right in front for 15 minutes if you're just going for to-go. A little past by the panda express will have a small area of longer street parking. I'm sure there's more around but I was only getting to-go. Ambiance: Clean with decent amount of white chairs and tables for people to sit and chill. It's nice and cool inside so you can escape the heat for some snacks or a good drink. Service: Nice and sweet. Helped me pick out/decide on some floral teas that we might like. I wasn't sure since they have a good variety! Drinks: Kyoto Cherry Rose - Potent rose floral flavor without being overbearing. You taste and know it's there but it's not sickening and doesn't punch you in the face. Deep tea flavor but can be bitter for some. Got it at 50% sweetness and that was perfect for me. Jasmine Orchard Oolong - More delicate of a tea flavor but you still get the floral jasmine. My mom loves it and says it tastes great. A new fan of Fika Fika! Just sad there's not a branch closer to where I am in La Puente but think it's worth the stop when I'm in the area here!

Ube Latte & Mochi Paw Cakes - Ube, Matcha, Black Sesame were delicious - $7.75

This coffee shop is fairly small and conveniently located right across from Pasadena City College. It's nice that they are dog-friendly so I saw some customers with their dogs inside the cafe! There is a huge variety of coffee and tea drinks. Prices are pretty reasonable and most drinks are ~$6-7. They also have a few food options, like tots, fries, toast, and mini desserts. The lady that took my order was friendly and helpful. However, it would have been nice if the staff did something about a homeless guy that came in and just started bothering all the customers. He kept approaching customers but not in a nice way and the staff just ignored him being there so all the customers slowly started to leave, including myself. The Ube Latte was just ok. The coffee was strong and tasted pretty good but the ube tasted flavorless unfortunately. This was 3/5 The Mochi Paw Cake ($7.75) came with 3 flavors and I chose ube, matcha, and black sesame. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes if you order this because it takes awhile to make! Loved how crispy it was in the outside and how chewy it was on the inside! The matcha and ube had a subtle flavor but wasn't too sweet. The black sesame was my favorite because it tasted delicious and didn't just have a subtle flavor! This was 4/5 Overall, it was a nice experience until the homeless guy situation!

Love the food it was very delicious. The ice cream was sweet and creamy. Love it. The staff were really nice and gave wonderful recommendations both for the food, drinks and ice cream. It's very spacious and quiet which is good for studying. Love the way it's decorated it's really nice. Would recommend coming here a 10/10

Milk & Cereal Ice cream + Hokkaido ice cream in a rose cone next to So Matcha So Cloudy
    Déanna W.

I came in the mood to have my usual rose latte but was tempted by an array of ice creams. On such a warm day it was the perfect treat and I'm glad I finally gave them a try. FOOD 5/5 I sampled almost all of the ice creams before I picked out my favorite flavors. Do you know that EVERY SINGE FLAVOR I tasted tasted exactly like the flavor it was. The Thai tea was spot on, the lychee flavor was spot on , the Hokkaido flavor was spot on, the cereal and milk was to die for, and the strawberry matcha was delicious. I finally went with the split scoop of milk & cereal and Hokkaido with the rose cone and it was the perfect combination. I also got the small "So Matcha So Cloudy" with oat milk made as is. SERVICE 5/5 The service was A1 top tier. Emily was so patient, helpful, and kind while providing me the best customer service while I decided what I wanted to order. Also when I got my matcha the lavender sweetness wasn't as prominent as I'd like, so I went back to the counter and once again Emily was happy to help me decide if I needed more vanilla or more lavender to make it a bit sweeter. I ended up getting 2 more lavender pumps and it put the flavor right where I liked it. I like my drinks a little more on the sweeter side. AMBIANCE 5/5 It was a welcoming space with plenty of places to sit. There were plants and music that brought a nice vibe. There was even an area to sit out front if I was in the mood to soak up a little sun. All in all a 5/5 for the entire experience as a whole. This is the second Fika Fika location I've visited and I always leave happy. If you're looking for a great place to have artisan high quality drinks, a great sweet treat, great service and more go here. They also have food that I have yet to try but will do that next.

    Mocha latte small

Came here for a quick meet as I was a few doors down eating lunch. There's parking on the street but looks like maybe an hour limit usually except Sundays which is the day I'm here :) I tried to order the Thai latte but that only comes ice cold and it's freezing today so instead I ordered the mocha latte. It was ok. After having a few solid ones, the mocha latte here had nothing that stood out. Service was friendly. The tables here are close together so not good for meetings that require privacy. We had to sit outside as the topic was quit sensitive and needed more privacy.

i popped by here on a whim when i was in the pasadena area a while back, and this little shop was such a fun coffee stop. i had tried the rose latte along with a bunch of the mochi paw cakes, and the paw cakes were SO CUTE! the texture/flavor of the dough reminded me a lot of those asian egg waffles, but the inside of them had a nice balance of filling. it made me wish there was one closer! it's a bit on the smaller side in terms of space, but there was still plenty of seating available the day i went. the workers were really sweet too!! (props to them too, because when i went, there was a guy who came in who eventually had the cops called on him, but the two girls stayed cool and collected under pressure. hope they got a raise after that fr) all in all, would recommend :)

The Build: I ordered the banana cream matcha, which features a rich matcha base with standard oat milk, topped with a heavenly layer of banana cream and tiny, mysterious crunchy pieces. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the drink was absolutely heavenly. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion. The Verdict: While the major price tag means this won't be an everyday habit, the solid flavors and super fast, friendly service make it a perfect spot for a little treat every once in a while. The staff had my drink out almost instantly around 10 AM on a Tuesday, and since I live so close, I'll definitely be back occasionally when I want to spoil myself.

We got the mango matcha rain, banana cream matcha, and banana latte. For $7-8 per drink, you get a very SMALL sized cup, I believe it's a 12 oz. Although oat milk is the standard for the matcha drinks, the price for such a small cup was not worth it. For the drinks itself, not sure what kind of matcha powder they are using but it doesn't seem to be grade quality. The banana latte also tasted like milk. Interior wise, plenty of tables & seating. Great for a study spot with ample street parking. Overall, for the price, quality, and sizes, I unfortunately will not be returning.

I usually like to take my drinks to go so I can grab a pain au chocolat at C.A.R down the street but sometimes I'll linger if a table opens up. They team up with different microbakeries on weekends to host popups, my fave being crumbs and flakes, so that keeps the pastry rotation interesting. My drink of choice now, having tried a few items off the menu, will forever be their gui hua (osmanthus) latte. No one can convince me otherwise. Everyone I know who has tried it, has loved it. This place gives an either you like our drinks or just don't come back type of vibe. They don't really seem to care about appeasing you. Do with that information what you will.

Brew is also on point! Big downside: they are usually out of many options later in the day. But croissants are real and serious, so willing to forgive that bit. This one is a no brainer if you like your croissants.

Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.

I kept thinking, *"How many boba shops do we really need?"* One thing that stood out was their ordering system - they don't use the usual percentage options for sweetness and ice. Instead, they have "Perfect Sweet" and "Perfect Ice." Whatever that means, right? I was still skeptical. I waited until I got home so my wife and I could try it together. Mind. Blown. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, we've already gone back three times in a month. That might not sound like much to some people, but for us to make a special trip just for boba says everything. It's not the fastest. You'll probably wait 5-10 minutes in full, but perfection takes time, and it's absolutely worth it. Suggestion: a stamp or loyalty card would be awesome. No disrespect to the brand, but I think the real Torotea fans would appreciate it.

They provide self-serve water outside of the store in the case that there is a long wait. Fortunately, this has never been the case when I have visited. The employees were also super helpful and very well-versed with their menu. They knew exactly what drink paired well with what jelly. All the drinks are true to the taste profile as described on the website. The Popcorn Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi is one of the most popular items and it was indeed very buttery. It had a very unique taste profile, but definitely not for me. I personally really really really enjoyed the Misty Oolong MT which had a light-roasted, malty flavor with subtle buttery highlights. It paired perfectly with the osmanthus jelly. The best drink Torotea has to offer by far!
