Slowest mcdonalds Ive been to in years. Drive-thur had about 8 cars so I went in. Quick to take my order but took about 15-20mins to get food ( served with cold fries ) . Found it strange that they ask you what drink you want then make you fill it up yourself. They also give you the drink about 10 mins after you order and way before the food comes. Food seemed be made once you order although it was busy & lunchtime. Worker dropped cups on the ground and placed them back in the cup dispenser and inly threw then away once customers said something. Definitely wont be coming back . read more

This location needs employees and management that care. The food here is horrible compared to other McDonald's locations and the employees are rude. It's not far from other options, go the extra 10 miles. read more

This place is busy every time I've been here. Bathroom line out the door. Order line out the door. You should expect it. Its off the 15, people are traveling long distance. They need to pee and/or get food before they starve. The bathroom is usually clean for the volume. Wait time to get your food after you finally order isn't excessive. Double check your food if you special order. Lots of parking for larger vehicles. read more

Yelp challenge 2016 29/116 Pit Stop off the 15 freeway anout 30 miles south of Barstow, in the middle of nothing. Located next to a gas station with super easy exit and entrance onto the freeway. You can't miss the Golden Arches. Here is the drill. Fill up the tank, fill up your belly and grab snacks. This McDs is nothing special. Other than the fact that its clean, has a clean bathroom and less congestion than the McDs in Barstow. Service was fast and friendly. It did it's job. Don't know what's up with all the hate this McDonald is getting, especially the hate is coming from people stopping here for bathroom breaks instead of getting food. Come on people... This is a McDonald's, not a public restroom. If you are going to complain about the line, go elsewhere! As for myself, this McDonald's is like every other one. Food is meh, but I am happy because I usually stop here before or after snowboarding at Mountain High. It is very convenient and cheap compare to the food they sell at the mountains. Well, when your driving to Vegas and your stomach is growling like a hurricane, McDonalds sounds like Ruth Chris! This one was...good. Its McDonalds people, they serve the same grub that they serve in Van Nuys, LA, to San Fran. So wa I ecstatic about the food, well, when your hungry fro a drive to Vegas, sure. Unfortunately I went to this McDonald's on my way to Vegas. I got fries and chicken nuggets just as a snack for my drive. They just didn't even taste like McDonald's food, both the fries and nuggets. I can't even describe the taste, but something was off... maybe old frying oil? Almost like they were stale. I didn't enjoy them at all and totally regretted spending money there. And finally, the worst part was the server was wearing their mask below their nose, and a customer wasn't wearing a mask either but they didn't care. I hate to be picky, but man, if it's inside and preparing my food, I'd rather the precautions be enforced. I actually have an upset stomach from the food and I feel under the weather this morning. Poor service. Asked for extra sauce on my 2 special menu order big Mac meal. They actually charged me 50 cent's for exercise sauce. Had a choice of pies with this special. As long as it was pumpkin pie. For they were out of all other pies. Then I heard them say we now have apple pies. So I went to change my order to appear pie only to find out that's another charge . What a cheep McDonald's I've never been charged for extra sauce or to change my order after being told there's no more other pies left then they end up with another pie but don't change your mind it will coast you here even after they said there was no other pies left... This is a great little stop, after a real long drive on the 15 north. The weather today is actually a lot cooler than it usually is in this area. It's a little muggy and overcast. McDonald's always provides a real great stop to get out and stretch, go inside get a coffee, use the restroom and have a nice little bite to eat. I will have to say my favorite thing from McDonald's is french fries, but all of their food is really good. The coffee isn't bad either. The parking lot at this location is always packed. There is always a lot of people inside but they serve them quite quickly. read more

My boyfriend & I decided to stop by the drive thru at around 6:15 this morning & got an entire order that wasn't what we asked for. The female working at the drive thru asked if we specifically wanted cream/sugar for the coffee, what size drink I wanted with my breakfast combo, & what two sandwiches we wanted. We ordered two completely different sandwiches, & got two sausage McMuffins. My boyfriend was given a black coffee, missing the cream/sugar he asked for. We've been driving for about 5 hours so we didn't have time to make a fuss about it. With that being said, I just don't understand why a customer is asked what they want, modifications & all, to be given something completely wrong. It would've been nice to have the order gone over with us at the time of placing it however we will be very specific with our next time ordering. read more

Nope. Stopped for some eats and coffee, mainly for the coffee. We drove away and realized they forgot to include our bottled water and I'm pretty sure they gave us decaf instead of regular coffee...unless I've suddenly developed an immunity to caffeine. I'm angry because after I chugged my coffee, and my sleeping sister's coffee, the sandman was still sitting on my face. So, screw you franchise McDonald's. Finally got regular coffee a few hours later and I'm now as right as rain. Do yourself a favor; if you want coffee, skip this place. Food was hot though. read more

Stop here for a restroom break haven't eaten here but it's just like any ordinary Mickey D's lol They are doing construction on the 15 by this area so stay far right if you want to stop here or else you'll get stuck in the one lane on the left with barriers on both sides so no where to get out until that stretch is reconnected with the other lanes. read more

Everyone has such negative comments to say about this place but have some common decency. These are CHILDREN working here. They deal with incompetent people all day and you guys expect the most. Imagine your kids getting treated the way they do. If you're going to complain so much then drive the extra 15 minutes to another location. I had a long wait at register, and by the way i was the only one in the line. When I finally ordered, they gave me the wrong size coffee... I didn't really care, but its the point. As I was waiting for my food, there were people eating behind register. Also a woman came back with a completely wrong order. Finally when I got my food, I had ordered for here, they packed it to go. If you are driving to Las Vegas, then this is one of the convenient stops. However, if you are eating here, I suggest you don't! The restaurant inside has so many flies flying around. It's not sanitary. Some of the workers are nice but they just took long. I ordered a side salad and it took 20 mins! How long does it take to get the salad from the fridge. The people are nice the service is slow. I'd pass this one up and stop somewhere else unless you have to. read more

Who would ever rate a mcdonalds?? I never thought in my lifetime I would need to rate one, but this is the most terrible mcdonalds EVER!! They have so many workers and no one is doing their jobs. They just walk around chatting their ass away and not even taking orders while the line is backed up to the door. Literally waited soooo long to get a sandwich! Wow! I haven't had perfectly cooked Mac Donald's since for ever! would love to come back and eat at this location again. I couldn't believe how good it was. It's normal to get bitter tasting, overly cooked french fries and chicken nuggets. Oh, and they carry honey at this location. Most Mc Donald's do not carry honey. I personally don't eat McDonalds very often because of all the crazy news lately about it but after snowboarding, my sister and I were so thirsty that we decided to make a pitstop and grab a drink. We only went in to buy a sweet tea. So what I like about this location is that the sweet tea - you can get it yourself. Theres two sections, one is non-sweetened and one is sweetened. My sister and I don't like things too sweet so it was perfect for us to mix half and half. We slurped a good amount, refilled it and then left the place. Not a lot of places have this option where you get to mix half of it. Some places they make it for you in the back area, making it super sweet and not only that, they put way too many ice! So what I didn't like about this place was that I think they need some renovations done here. Some odd reason, but the sign outside was in green? I thought McDonalds was suppose to be red. I know they turned things green for awhile because of the whole environmental "GO GREEN" type of idea, but it wasn't a good turnout. I think they should change it back to red. The place looked really old and dirty, making it no appealing at all. But then again, this place is close to the mountains and campsite area so there's no point in making it look super nice.
