Place is an absolute joke. Nobody there but you'll wait 15 minutes for your food in a pull-in spot, so you have to guess whether or not they forgot about you the entire time. Which has happened. [596] Today was my first visit and I was very impressed. This location is on busy Oregon Avenue in Philly. There are two drive up windows. Inside had a kids playarea which my son loved. There are tables and counters to sit at which is nice to have a choice. Looks like it was renovated recently. The drinks are self serve. First time experiencing....... kiosk for ordering McDonalds food. Dave was very nice and helpful. The cashier was very nice. All around great experience. I'll definitely be back. read more

They need the health department called or something because I could smell the rotten food through the taped shut McDonald's bag and the box it was in. We have been coming to this location about once a week for the last four years. We always get three happy meals; two with a soda and one with an apple juice (box). Tonight after finishing his apple juice box, my 4 year old began coughing uncontrollably while running around and playing in the Playplace. I went to the counter to ask for some water. Because at this location, for some reason, there is no water available at the self serve soda fountain. I was told I would have to buy bottled water. I explained that my child was choking and we are paying customers (with other paid beverages) and we just needed some water. I again was told I would have to pay. My 4 year old refused to drink the soda that his older siblings had. And unfortunately, even if I dumped the soda out of the cups that I had paid for, I would not be able to fill it with water myself for my 4 year old. The most upsetting part was the lack of concern on the part of the "manager," who positioned herself between me and the employee I was talking to. After this brief exchange I politely told her that she lost us as regular customers and we would not be coming back; to which she replied "that's fine." That McDonald's is an absolute dump. I went in with my wife, mother & grandpa for a quick bite after a day out. We got the food from the new computer menu. Which isn't a bad idea. Works great. The people on the other hand, not so much. The server that bought our food to the table just threw the food down in front of us. The employees that aren't working (which is 75% of them) were sitting on the tables, screaming and cursing all over the store. F this and F that. Oddly, there is a split lane and you can use both lanes to order, but then the lanes merge back together before you get to the window to pay. It's not smart. Why is it that all inner city McDonalds are disgusting shitholes? ..from the greasy hand prints all over the takeout window ,to the thick sweet sick stench of long dead fryer oil that probably (according to franchise rules) should have been changed weeks ago .food wrappers that have greasy hand prints on them ...all food tastes like skanky dirty oil /dirty flat tops...too much ketchup on the burgers always ...buns are usually stale..I could go on and on..Because of this we avoid fast food at all costs .. But ,,when on vacation we visit the McDonalds as a treat (in the Catskills )...its like night and day ..its clean.smells as it should ,fries and burgers are hot and are sinfully delicious as they should be ...what is the deal ?
