After ordering my egg McMuffin and drink I ate the hashbrowns and McMuffin on my way to work. By the time I had sat down at work I was doubled over in pain. I asked for a sausage mc muffin with egg. Got my sandwich without egg. I went back in to switch out my sandwich. I was standing in line and the worker yelled out while she was helping the person in front of me WHAT HAPPENED????!!! With her ugly ass attitude and an ugly smirk on her face. Every time I have been to this place it has been hugely disappointing! What a joke! Rude employees, food not ready, only taking cash...the list goes on and on. They are 24 hours and at 5 am they don't have certain breakfast items available because they had to clean the grill hood at 1am. I assume the tall African American gentleman is the manager, always well dressed but GUARANTEED TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE! I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru one morning with only 2 cars in front of me. They always have an excuse ready. Just this morning I wanted to grab breakfast on my way to work, down the street at Safeway. This must be the worst McDonald's ever! It NEVER fails that these people ALWAYS get our orders wrong. Last night was the last straw. My daughter ordered almost $35 worth of food through their drive thru window. I requested for their Filet o fish, extra tartar sauce with sweet tea. By the time she got home (less than 2 mins), the tea was bland and barely any ice. I opened my sandwich only to find they BARLEY put any tartar sauce and NO cheese! Mind you, they do charge for extra tartar sauce! Two of the large fries we ordered were mostly overcooked and one looked like it was only a medium sized one. To top it off, my debit card and receipt weren't in any of the 4 bags they said it went l would be in. My daughter drives back with the fries and my sandwich. Went in today for a quick snack on my way home to Modesto, from Sunnyvale. The food was decent and quick service. The customer service was also fast and decent as well. I placed my usual order of a mcdouble and McChicken with a small fries and a small Dr Pepper. The place inside was being cleaned as well as the outside. I decided to use the restroom before continuing my usual long trip home to Modesto. Everything was going great during my visit until I found out the stall I used had no TP. Therefore I'm sorry to say but my visit today was unpleasant. Think I might look elsewhere for a future stop next time. I know it's a small thing but small things make a huge difference. Totally agree with the low star ratings. Very poor service. My daughter and I went in just to get a happy meal. I mean that why most kids go there. They had a display of all the toys and when asked for a specific one they didn't have it. I asked them why don't keep it in stock if the display is there. A coworker and I have frequented the store on Santa Rita in Pleasanton and have found a real lack-luster attitude in the mornings waiting and waiting before someone even gets on the drive-thru speaker and then we get to the first pay window and wait again... then to get the food, wait again... and I don't mean a regular wait but enough of a wait to turn the car off and no contact with the window person until we got the food then no apology for the wait. Service at this McDonalds has fallen to an all time low. On more than one occasion our order has been incorrect, like no ketchup or no onions, etc. While they are willing to correct the error, the rest of the meal is getting cold while you wait. At a visit this week, I was served barely warm fries that seemed to have been mixed with fries that had been re-fried (crisp all the way through). I went back for fresh fries. The employee that took my old fries back placed them back on the warming tray to be served again. Pretty sure this is a health code violation. This McDonalds is poorly managed. Their drive through lane is too narrow and they make you pull up instead of waiting for your food to be handed out the window. There is not enough room to pull over if you are driving a pickup, and the guy behind me was getting irritated because I was waiting for my food., Then he yelled at me to continue through and there is no place to wait except the handicapped spots because people park in the "pick up lanes" at the front. I would give this place ZERO star! My husband had bought a Happy Meal for our son as we were heading out of town. And when I reached inside the Happy Meal box to get the french fries out, I was shocked to see a BOX CUTTER RAZOR BLADE laying right inside on the bottom!!! Yes, you read that correctly! I'm surprised this place is so lowly rated! OK, it's McDonalds, so I'm not going to review it as if it was a fancy place, but for what it is, it's a clean establishment and friendly service. They did mess up an order when I asked for hot fudge sunday at the drive-thru (I asked for no nuts but they gave me no fudge) but when I went in to the store to fix it they gave me a second one free. I'm not sure what you expect from a McDonalds, but as long as it's consistent with the established standards they can only differentiate on service and cleanliness. Worst experience I've ever had. 2am we drove up to McDonald's before our road trip. Sign says 24hr drive thru and we found that they coned off the entrance. We seen another car just drive over the cones and order so we followed and the worker over the intercom never mentioned anything about it. We began ordering and after just 3 items, the guy taking the order says THATS A BIG ORDER. Anyways the rest of the family ordered and he kept repeating how the order was big. Then repeated the order back to us, we corrected it and asked him to repeat once more. He repeated it back incorrectly again. We corrected him once more and after confirming everything was right we drove off and hear him on the intercom saying THATS CAUSE YOU HAVE A BIG ORDER. Then we drove up to the window, another gentlemen came to the window with our order on a paper and read the incorrect order to us. We waited about 25 minutes for our order, and once the order came, that gentlemen rushed to close the window saying OK THANK YOU. We asked him to wait cause they forgot a few of our items. He brought out 1 item we ordered and then tried to rush and close the window and we stopped him again because he still forgot the other 2 items. I've worked in the food and hospitality industry for some time now and it pissed me off how they everything was handled. And trust i never write a bad review nor ever treat a worker with any disrespect, but I wanted their management to know how they need to tune up their employees who work the late hour. People can complain just to complain, but this complain is to make management aware of the issues that's going on so they can improve their establishment. This place is terrible during the wee hours of the early morning, since it's a 24 hour branch. This is about the 4th I've been here and once again they mess up the order. That's basically every time I've gone the past year or so. One time when my friends and I ordered like right before 4am, we were able to get the regular lunch menu and they gave us all the wrong items. We sat in the drive-thru again to have them correct it, and when we reached the window, they refused to make the changes, and told us that they can only give us breakfast items even if it was their mistake. Tonight is the last straw for this place. The 20 piece nuggets looked atrocious, and they gave me the wrong sauce, The nuggets were hard, chewy, and definitely over-cooked. If this was not the only place open besides JITB nearby, I would never even think twice about coming here, but after this, I am just done. With all the bad reviews they receive that is consistent, the Franchisee needs to do something about it.
