4/18/26- Either this McDonalds shrunk their drink sizes or they're scamming people. Paid for a large and Medium drink. Ordered 2 meals, 1 with a medium drink and the other with 1 large drink. Recieved 1 small drink cup and 1 medium drink cup instead. The large coffee that I ordered was put in the microwave to be heated up after being dispensed from their coffee pot. This is one of the worst McDonald's that I've been to. Never get greeted by employees, even when they look right at you. Doesn't seem they care about their customers or their service. read more

This is easily the worst McDonalds I've been to. No matter what my order is, there is an overwhelming chance they will get it wrong. Even when I ordered just two unsweet iced teas, they gave me sweet tea. Or I say "no onions" and I get onions. Or "add cheese" and I get no cheese. Whether it's mobile order or regular drive thru, the order comes out wrong. And the quality isn't always there either. Cold dried out burger and limp fries. This is not a recent issue; this location has been messing up my orders for well over a decade and yet I still come here once in a while cuz it's convenient (or I'm on a mission collecting the toys). Today I ordered a Minecraft Movie Meal with chicken nuggies and sweet n sour sauce (it comes with 2), two unsweet iced teas, and a medium fries (it's Free Fries Friday!) I did not receive the medium fries, and I only got one sauce cup and it was bbq. They couldn't even get the number of sauce cups right. This was with mobile order, so everything is clearly spelled out for the order. I really should learn my lesson and just drive the extra few miles so at least I get what I ordered. This McDonald's location is in a small plaza right by the freeway, which is not that convenient to go to and get out of. The parking lot is not any better, it is a bit of like a maze - just awkward to navigate through, especially at night. I wanted a quick dinner, so I stopped here one night. I was thinking it could not be that bad - what was supposed to be a quick 5 minutes or max 10 minutes detour, turned into about an half an hour. So that night, I navigated through the lot, waited in drive-thru line, ordered my meal (it took awhile for someone to take my order thru the speaker with no acknowledgement at first), waited patiently in line (taking awhile as well), and when I got to the 1st window - no one was in the window (I waited a moment then safety assumed that payment was taken at the 2nd window like they do most of the time during the late night). I drove to the 2nd window and was ready to pay and was told I could not pay here, but the employee handed me my food regardless and I told him I have not paid yet, which he responded that I should had paid at first window and I told him no one was there - at this point I tried handing him my phone to do Apple Pay, which he kept refusing and I guess telling me I could go, and I was so confused. I drove away feeling confused - I left the parking lot, drove down the street, did a u-turn and came back because it did not sit right with me. I was pretty sure the inside was closed and the line in the drive-thru was building up, so I took a shot and called them. I actually got through, explained the situation and if I could just do a quick payment by their door or something, but they told me I have to come back through the drive-thru because they cannot open the door at night, which is a big lie because they have to come out and bring food out to the cars out front sometimes. At this point, there was a decently long line / wait, but they kept insisting there is no line, it would be quick when I can literally see the line getting longer in front of me from my car. I did not really want to argue, so I went through the line - I explained myself to the employee through the ordering speaker and she was trying to argue and claim that she has been at the first window this whole time and did not leave, which obviously she was not or I was had saw her and paid there. Anyway, after going back and forth with me, she told me to go to the window to pay - there were a good amount of cars in front of me and it took a long time like I knew it was going to be (even though they claimed it would very quick). When I finally got to the window, she could not find my order at first and came off a bit rude, but eventually she puled it up and I paid and went on my way. Overall, not the most convenient location and after my last encounter, I would most likely not be back. After all that mess by the time I got to my food - it was cold and soggy, and my drink was watered down. They also skimp on condiments, even when asked for a bit more - they act like you ask them for a huge favor and it is such an inconvenience. read more

This McDonald's seems pretty high-tech, where you self-order on one of the kiosks that they have available. You only interact with the staff upon picking up your order. However, their tech comes with some glitches. We had ordered some regular nuggets on the screen but it ended up printing out on the receipt as spicy nuggets. Perhaps we made a mistake on our end, but we remember double-checking the order. Similarly, we double-checked that it was set up as a to-go order, but we got our food here, so we had to ask the person to bag it up. I was really craving some McDonald's fries late at night, and was delighted to see that this McDonald's location is open 24 hours! We went through the drive-thru, ordered, and received our food in a manner of 10 minutes. 2 medium fries with plenty of ketchup packets. Maybe I haven't had McDonald's in a while or maybe my stomach isn't accustomed to the greasiness of their foods. I don't know why I had high expectations to be honest; I just wanted a late-night fix of some fries! And from my experience, I've always preferred McDonald's fries over In-N-Out Burger's fries. However, this time, I was super excited to eat the fries, but to my dismay, they didn't have much taste. They were warm, probably a fresh batch, but they were lacking flavor! Where's the sodium? If I'm eating McDonald's, I definitely want all or nothing. One meal where my sodium levels are just completely through the roof. Unfortunately, I got none of that. The fries were unfortunately mediocre, and I had to dip them in plenty of ketchup to finish them. And I usually don't use ketchup with the fries as I prefer eating them plain to taste each individual salt granule. Anyway, the fries were decent with the ketchup addition. The drive-through is extremely slow. Even though you are the only one in the drive-through they will make you wait at the curbside pick up just so the counter timer doesn't show that they are taking forever with their orders. Make sure you check your order before you leave the drive-through because I have come here so many times and my orders have been messed up. This is undoubtedly one of the most inconsistent and incompetent McDonald's in the area. Disorganized with extremely long wait times and a very high likelihood that you'll have your order filled incorrectly, your food given to the wrong person, or that the food will be ice cold. Management is severely lacking at this McDonalds and corporate does not read any notes from any of the receipt surveys they give out. Make sure to ask for receipts. This McDonalds is notorious for not giving receipts, telling you to pull up and wait in one of the pickup stalls, and then saying that they cannot confirm your order. There is a very short list of good employees at this particular McDonalds, but they simply cannot undo the incompetence of the remaining group. If you're looking to play russian roulette with cold, soggy fries, this is your janky spot to stop right off the freeway. If you've got a hankering for McDonalds that cannot be satiated otherwise, I'd suggest driving to the next one that's like two minutes away or consider picking old McDonald's scraps out of the dumpster for the same culinary and service experience. read more

After seeing an ad for the triple stack sausage McMuffin, I had to give it a try. It was early in the morning and dropping off a car for some new tires. This McDonald's is big and occupies a prime located right at the on-ramp of Santa Rita Rd. and 580 freeway. Huge parking lot and a double lane drive-thru. There are a couple of self order kiosks. The triple stack stack sausage McMuffin was just as billed several sausage patties with cheese egg in one muffin. The sandwich was constructed well with minimal unevenness. The meal order with coffee and hash brown was nearly $9. This location is busy with the drive thru with at least 6 cars in line, so service is a bit slow. The parking lot is dirty and there are transients loitering around. read more
