McDonald's - Welcome in! - Fast Food Near Me - Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Came to this location because my kiddo wanted a happy meal and wanted to see if he was able to get a different Sonic character in his happy meal. We first went inside, but since there was only one kiosk working and there were several people ordering ahead of us, I opted to take my chances in the drive thru. We saw when we went inside that the new happy meals are Mario, not Sonic. I ordered my kiddo a happy meal, I got a diet coke for myself and regular coke for my husband, and a small fries. When I pulled around I grabbed my drinks and food. Right before we pulled out of McDonald's I went to take a sip of my diet coke and it was so warm and there were only 2 small ice cubes in the cup. What a disappointment. I really only like their diet coke because it normally has a ton of bubbles and a good ratio of ice to soda. Not this time. My husband's regular coke only had 2 ice cubes in it, too. When my kiddo went to check out the Mario toy in the Mario happy meal box it was a sonic toy....the same sonic toy he's gotten repeatedly for the past 4 weeks. I'm convinced McDonald's never got anything besides a tails toy from Sonic. read more

I have said it before and I will say it again. This is hands down the best McDonald's ever created. I experienced magnificence today. I ordered my bacon egg and cheese bagel meal at 10:30am today and when I took my first bite, I felt the power of God run through my veins. Worst experience from this McDonald's. They missed my fries and cheeseburger from my order and ran out of Sprite so couldn't get that....also forgot sauce for the chicken nuggets. This is why I don't like the drive thru. They know they can leave out stuff from your order and most people won't go back to get their orders fixed. read more

I went to pick up a few dozen gift cards and the person at the window (Chris) was so extremely nice, asking me why I was buying them we chatted a bit he mentioned his charitable acts and life in general. What in the world happened to this place? Ordered food through the app. When we arrived to pick it up, they said they couldn't find the order. When they finally did, we got the food but had to wait for the drinks. When we returned home-a three minute drive away. The food was cold and the sodas were flat and had very little syrup in it. I don't recommend going to this particular McDonalds in the evening. Staff is lackluster and can't get things together. read more

Things like hash browns not even being an "item" on the breakfast menu (but you can get them) or the "meal" not being explained as to what's included - how is McDs going to survive when they can't even get the menu right? Not only that but they still don't carry Coke Zero at this store. Why? It's not 1987 and Diet Coke is enough to make you choke. Corporate or store decision? Two lane set up here and one lane blocked off. What? You guys better go see a drive up at Chick-fil-A some time! They are also happy to see you - here, not so much. See a special on TV? Often this location won't honor it. Just this morning went in for sausage biscuit and hash browns for $1.50. Got the driest biscuit imaginable and no hash brown. Was told didn't pay for it. Sure enough, I was charged $1.49 for the sausage biscuit instead of $1.50 for both! This wasn't the first fiasco either. Have received Big Macs missing meat patties on more than one occasion. $1 drinks are often $2 if you order a combo. The two lane drive thru is often out of order. You're better off just passing this one by. Forget about Marsh Landing too--they are a close second to this one. And to think--we gave up a Boston Market for this?!? read more

There was a line of cars for the drive through so the staff were busy taking care of them. After I had put my order in at the touchscreen station, I was waiting at the counter for a few minutes wondering if they even noticed me because no one acknowledged i was even there. Someone did come to assist me and had our food ready shortly after and were kind. I needed to wipe our seat down before we started eating but My 2 year old greatly enjoyed the pancakes and orang juice and once in a while would say "Mmmm good!". I loved the oldies music but it was too cold inside to the point my son had goosebumps all over and needed me to snuggle/warm him up and myself as well. I ended up moving us outside to warm up and luckily the playground was open for us to play. The sign said ages 3 and under but the steps were too high for him to climb (they must not know how "big" 3 and under are) which ended up causing me to have to heft him up each step and got my pants a little dirty. I don't know if they even clean outdoor playgrounds but my sons hands were pretty filthy. Overall, my son was happy but I'd probably just do drive through and park someplace to eat. read more

The Manager Louis at the McDonalds on AIA next to Ace Hardware in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. told me off today. What provoked him was I told him they were supposed to put a cherry on the whipped cream on my milkshake. He angrily responded I didn't know what I was talking about. Of course from his vaulted position as a McDonald's manager I guess he felt he could disparage a customer especially a female customer and tell me I didn't know what I was talking about.. Women always enjoy a man telling them they don't know what they are talking about,--- probably more than men do. Sic!!!! Where do they get these male managers at McDonald's? Do you ever see McDonalds promoting many women into manager positions.? . After centuries of being treated special because they are men and being able to disparage and treat women like they want to, should we be surprised that these male managers at McDonald find it hard to be respectful to female customers. read more

To her defense she did tell them to call her back bit really?? I wasn't given a beverage cup and when I asked for one she slammed it onto the counter. There were two young white boys working the drive though. When I pulled up to the speaker I could tell they were both talking over the headset. One boy asked what my order was and then the other called me the n word, asking "what you want n***". They breathed into the headset loudly the entire time I ordered, obviously on purpose for how loud it was. When I pulled up the the window one of the boys had a red flannel on, unbuttoned all the way down with no shirt underneath. The boy behind him looked at my girlfriend and I and said "they're definitely gay" loud enough for me to hear it while keeping eye contact with me. Unprofessional kids don't deserve jobs. read more

Are you in the area and looking for a good McDonald's? Well, there is a better one a couple miles down the road by Target! For a while my family and I have known that this is the inferior McDonald's, but today was the last straw! This location is notorious for messing up orders--especially with the drive through. Recently, we placed an order and confirmed at least THREE times with the cashier that she noted a special request we made. She said yes. This time, we checked the food before leaving the parking lot, and what did we find? They did not change what we had specifically asked them to. We then checked the receipt and found that the request had not even been noted. No wonder the order was messed up! The cashier clearly did not listen to us (the first time we asked for the change and the three times we checked it was on the order with her) or was too lazy to fix her mistake and lied to us! I'm not sure which one is worse. By the way, she also talked to us like we were stupid and made US feel bad for asking her about the request so many times! We went back in to get it changed, and the employees just transferred the same food to accommodate what we wanted, messing up all our toppings and the melted cheese. Now, this whole situation was not caused by the workers in front, but they did make it worse! After receiving the secondhand order, we asked them to make fresh food because rifling through the erroneous meals was only destroying their quality in a different way. The response? That they had made fresh ones. We had seen with our OWN eyes that they just tried to "fix" the original food they gave us. After mentioning that, they asked the employees in the back if they remade everything. Clearly, they said no, and only then did our order get put in again, at the back of the queue--the whole process could have been so much faster if they made new food in the first place! At the end of the day, I find myself extremely disappointed with this location, especially with the ignorant cashier who started this whole mess! I would say you get what you pay for, but I know you can get better quality for the same price in Jax Beach. read more

I don't even write reviews, but the service was so bad I had to. The guy taking our order and money was fine, but then to pull up and get our food was a disaster. She couldn't speak A WORD English..the McFlurry she handed me was ice cream with Oreo just dumped on top. I asked her if she could mix it (with hand signals) she rolled her eyes at me and handed it back. We only got two out of our three drinks...the two we got were both wrong. We got no straws. Decided to take my daughter and her 2 friends to breakfast so they could burn some early energy. I realize driving we're in the lunch hours, so I get all of their orders prior to arriving, thinking I'm nailing it. We get there and being Sunday, the woman taking my order informed me lunch was still 15 minutes away. No problem, I set a timer on my phone while the kids play. I wish I would have gotten this woman's name, and I'm embarrassed I didn't. She came outside to let me know I could order. And when one of the three girls wanted breakfast, she made sure that girl got her breakfast in a happy meal box, with a toy, just like the other girls. Even managed to score her a hash brown when there were no more. She will know who she is. I appreciate her - and all the staff that day - but she exemplified above and beyond. For real. Been stopping at the Mc Donalds in Ponte Vedra (south end) for over 4 years every monring to get coffee and food. I've decided to stop and go to the more expensive Starbucks up the road. Reason: The morning staff just doesn't seem to care, seldom a thank you, sometime surly attitude, they just don't know customer service skills. One women just seems to have an attitude towards people not like her. I never am rude or impatient but do expect some small amount of appreciation. This is a nice McDonalds! Very clean, newly remodeled. The food was fast and hot. Pretty tasty for McDonalds. The staff was friendly. I always pop in for the McRib sandwich when they come out periodically. I am still a big fan of McDonalds fries. I also really like the hot apple pies they serve.... 2 for a dollar! read more
