Stopped on a Sunday night on way home from a weekend get-a-way to first go to the bathroom and then get dinner. The bathrooms are in the back of store. Men's room was clean but out of hand soap which is why I gave 4 out of 5. I ordered using the app for a drive-through pick up. Went great. The person taking my order and handing it to me were very friendly and polite.. I ordered a Big Mac meal medium with a Chocolate Milkshake, and a small hamburger. Took my niece here for Saturday lunch. We were just on the cusp between breakfast and lunch so I ordered breakfast and then ordered her lunch. I was really disappointed that this location no longer has self serve condiments, fountain drinks, napkins and plasticware. I was not given plasticware or napkins and had to get back in line to order them. To their credit the employees were friendly and working hard to fill orders. The food was fine -- typical McDonald's. My niece loved her happy meal. For some reason they were mopping the floors the whole time we were there. Glad they were clean but they were very slippery. read more

This is the worst McDonald's. Very rude customer service when the men are working when it's night shift. There's one sweet girl that works there at night shift. I asked for a 40 cooked to order nuggets because I love them when they're super hot and fresh. I was skeptical when they gave them to me so quickly- usually I have to wait 5-10 minutes. I know the difference between old nuggets that have been sitting there and super hot made to order fresh ones. They thought they could pull this over on me. Will be going back later in the afternoon to replace and talk to a manager. They did seem to kind of smile in a funny way like they knew. Lazy. The nuggets are DISGUSTING and I can't eat them!!!!!! I noticed that this McDonald's was pretty close to my hotel in Raleigh North Carolina. I had hoped that this one close late night or was a 24 hour restaurant. To my surprise, it was the latter. Given the proximity of this McDonald's to my hotel during a day in September 2024, I decided to have dinner there, well a late night, snack, and breakfast the next morning after checkout. Thankful that McDonald's is 24 hours so I could go anytime while I was here in Raleigh North Carolina. It is a McDonald's after all, so there is an extreme familiarity with this brand because shamefully I eat here regularly but not at this location. Both times that I was here, it was not busy. Definitely not busy at all. The first time was after 10 PM and the next morning was around 6 AM. I was craving french fries that night after having Vietnamese pussy, so I ended up having a full on combo, which was the fillet-o-fish combo with large fries and a large Powerade. It was a good enough snack after indulging in Vietnamese food I had my snack while watching the night TV back at my hotel. It was pure satisfaction. Next morning, I ended up having the two burrito meal with another Powerade. The service here was expected and satisfactory. What more can you expect from McDonald's? The overall experience here at this particular McDonald's in Raleigh, North Carolina was great because of the location in proximity to my hotel, which is why I am going to rate this a five star experience. Wow the food is always fast and easy and convenient, it is what I mentioned before, and extreme familiarity with the product and brand so there is no left in the world of fast food, especially with McDonald's. I did not get a chance to dine in because I wanted to have everything in my hotel room. I didn't see any self serve drink station while I was there, so that was a bummer in of itself. For the most part, though,, wow, the intersection that surrounds the driveway of the hotel, and the McDonald's was poorly marked, I had to make sure I made it across the street both times safely and alive. There was street lights, but, you never know what people these days in their cars. The restaurant itself was very large, but you could see that it was quiet when I was there. I just seem fair given the economical climate nowadays after COVID-19 pandemic. Too bad though I wish I had ice cream during my stay, but I did not think of it at the time since I was on vacation. Oh well. This particular McDonald's restaurant is located at 456 Main St. in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is close to several hotels in the area, including the place where I was staying in, the La Quinta hotels and suites. They have some major credit cards, cash, and mobile ordering. They also have a drive-through for anyone and everybody who doesn't want to get out of their car. As far as parking goes, they have nice large parking lot for those who wish to park and Dine in. The service at the counter was friendly enough and quick. I'm really old-school and like to interact with the personnel while ordering my food, at least with McDonald's is concerned. With that said, if you're staying in the area and want to indulge in your fast food fix, considering coming to this McDonald's restaurant location because they are 24 seven and may have the stuff you want at any given day or hour. Day or night. Even at 1 AM in the morning, they'll be there. Try not to be like me or you're on foot and trying to cross that intersection, it can be problematic when there are a lot of cars passing through the area. I got lucky because I was there largely when many people are safely home and not too much cars out there after 10 PM on a weekday night and 6 AM on weekday morning. 5.0 stars for the overall experience, solely for the location and being 24 hours. The food apparently sat on the counter for an hour while DoorDash exchanged Dashers. When it was finally delivered, the Big Mac was COLD, the FRIES were cold, the whipped cream on the milkshake was wilted. WORST SERVICE EVER! DOOR DASH SUCKS! McDonald's obviously just let my order lay on the counter for almost an hour before the final Dasher got around to picking it up. However, upon entering the drive thru I was told that only Uber Eats orders can be picked up. I read a lot of low ratings for this location but I didn't seem to share in the same poor experience. Since we just moved here recently and had not gone grocery shopping yet, I brought my 2 young daughters here for breakfast. We ordered and while I was getting them situated in high chairs, an employee graciously brought our food out to us. The kids shared a "big breakfast" platter (of which they barely ate any of - grrrrrrrr. (And note that this does not come with a drink, whoops) and I had a Sausage McMuffin with egg (on special for $1.69!!!) and 2 hash browns (2/$1.49!! Normally my McDonalds back in Winston they were $1 each.) After we ate, the girls had a great time playing on the indoor playground. My boyfriend and I ordered from doordash and we were missing fries from our order and were given old bbq it didn't taste right

I had a horrible experience. The sad thing is, my family and I live in the area. There are a couple McDonald's we choose from being that we have a toddler and he loves it. This location was the "lesser of two evils" if you can even call it that. I have my two year old in the car and go through the drive through. I order a double cheeseburger, extra pickles, no onions- a medium fry- a large coke- a 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal with a chocolate milk. Given the complete let downs 80% of the time. I ALWAYS stop before leaving (sad that I even feel the need to do this being that there's a reason I'm going through the drive thru......) the double cheeseburger has onions and 2 pickles. Yes, 2. I think you get more if you just order it regularly. I measure ms my medium fries to my sons happy meal fry.. they were the same. I paid $3.19 for the medium fry and my sons happy meal had the same amount of fries in it. I understand that mistakes happen. But the complete lack of being capable to read a ticket ... ( the ticket was originally input correctly ) is so unbelievably frustrating. Then when you have to leave your toddler in the car to run in to have it corrected and you obviously require assistance l.... NO ONE immediately steps in. It's obvious. I have a bag in my hand and probably don't look super smiley..... THEN they act like you are the one overreacting when the order was wrong that is literally the easiest job in the entire fucking world. There's a reason people drive thru. So instead of just throwing shit in a bag and ruining people days, lunch break, travel stop, etc., simply READ and get it right. Clean it up. FUCK. Honestly it blows my mind. Order in, ticket prints, cook READS TICKET, make burger, place in bag. Am I missing something here? Don't go to this location. Don't go to any McDonald's if you can help it, which is also sad because kids enjoy it and typically it's pleasant if people could read or at least own up to their very obvious mistake. I've never considered writing a review for a fast food joint, especially not a McDonald's, but this place is just amazing. I pulled up at 11am knowing breakfast ends at 10:30, but really craving a biscuit. The guy at the intercom was so friendly, I thought I'd take a chance and ask about breakfast items. He happily offered to check what they had left, and I was in luck! I was able order a breakfast combo, and it was somehow still hot and fresh tasting! The guy on the intercom was so friendly...not the fake kind either. The kind that comes from someone who genuinely enjoys his job and serving people (weird, right?). Then I pull up to pay, and again, a friendly, smiling face there to take my money. Am I in the twilight zone or something? I pull to the last window to collect my food, and again a warm greeting with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. I finally had to tell the clerk, "this is the friendliest McDonald's I've ever been to". She giggled and said thanks, and mentioned that in a few weeks they will be offering breakfast 24 hours a day. I thanked her and was on my way, but I still couldn't shake the whole experience. I usually dread fast food....wrong orders, lethargic, unhappy workers, etc., but this Mcdonald's was nothing like that. Now, I'm not fast food regular at all, but once in a blue moon nothing is more convenient or quick than the McDonald's near my office. They're fast, friendly, and always quite helpful. Great dollar menu selection and a fair amount of "healthy" options for a McD's. They're careful to get your order right in the drive-thru and always wish me a nice day. I've also run in when the drive-thru line is too long and the inside is always clean and quite bubbly with folks chattering away ranging from families to those working to those just passing through. They also have a huge playport area with balls and mats for kids. I've never played in it, but once I met up with a friend and her daughter so her 2 year old could play while we caught up. The kids seemed pretty content and got to burn a lot of energy. So I'm not going to suggest you hit up McD's in place of all the other great restaurants nearby, but if you're too busy to even hit the food court in the mall then slide through this drive-thru and you'll be good to go. I give it 5 stars simply because, for a McD's, they're as good as it gets. read more
