We came on a Saturday evening and wait was about 20 minutes which wasn't too bad. Our server was so attentive and ensure my daughter's order was placed and out immediately before ours which was nice. We ordered a few appetizers ( spring rolls, potstickers and a Caesar salad) to munch on before our dinner came. I love the chicken Madeira but decided on the shrimp scampi this time around which was so so good! For dessert we each ordered a cheesecake to go but were given a complimentary slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake which was smooth, creamy and very good! For a Saturday lunch, we chose Cheesecake Factory. Our wait was 1 hour and 10 minutes, but we held the reservation and drove to Old Navy. We still had an estimate of 45 minutes to get seated, so we walked from "way over there" and headed into the hallway just outside the restaurant. Their timing was spot on. We were served within one minute of my timer going off. We were seated and ordered drinks. I had a Coke Zero, and my husband ordered an Unsweetened Iced Tea (with sweetener and lemon on the side). We love their bread, so we dove right into that. Our meals were splitting two of their most popular appetizers: Avocado Eggrolls and large order of The That Lettuce Wraps. Both were outstanding and we didn't feel like we stuffed ourselves. There was nothing left of the lettuce wraps, and 3 small halves of the avocado rolls (which we took home). On this particular night in Raleigh, I didn't want the whole sit-down restaurant experience. I wanted to pick up dinner, head back to my hotel, put my feet up and enjoy one of my longtime favorites in peace: Sheila's Chicken and Avocado Salad. This salad just hits the spot every single time. It has everything going on -- crunch, creamy avocado, a little salty, a little sweet, tender chicken and that fantastic dressing that pulls everything together. It's one of those rare salads where I don't feel like I'm sacrificing anything by ordering a salad for dinner. It's a MEAL. I always order extra dressing, and I highly recommend doing the same because this salad is enormous. The dressing has two components that separate in the container, so give it a good shake before pouring. And if you happen to get a piece of chicken that's a little dry, give it a dip in that dressing and all is forgiven. Then came dessert. Normally, I'm loyal to the Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake, but this time I went rogue and ordered the Dulce de Leche Caramel Cheesecake. Oh. My. Caramel cheesecake, caramel mousse and that crunchy vanilla crust -- spectacular. Rich without being cloying, creamy, decadent and worth every calorie. I may have found a new favorite. The curbside pickup at this Crabtree Valley location also worked beautifully. There are designated numbered spaces close to the restaurant. You pull in, let them know where you are, and a runner brings your order directly to the car. Easy. I sat there catching up on phone calls and work until I saw my dinner coming toward me. Perfect. Everything was packaged well, my order was correct, portions were generous, and the food tasted exactly the way I expected it to. That consistency is one of the reasons I keep coming back to The Cheesecake Factory. Whether I'm dining in or taking dinner back to a hotel after a long workday, I know what I'm getting -- and sometimes there's a lot to be said for that. I'd do this again in a heartbeat. A seat had just opened up so it was perfect for me.. I was greeted by the bartender with a big smile, and she was very bubbly and upbeat.. I have been a regular customer at the Raleigh Cheesecake Factory restaurant for a long time, and every time I visit, I order the same dish: the Louisiana Chicken Pasta. The dish traditionally comes with two thin, breaded pieces of chicken, which is one of the reasons I enjoy ordering it. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, the chicken that came with my pasta was completely different. Instead of the usual thin, breaded chicken, I received two large, lightly breaded chicken tenders. I immediately brought this to the waiter's attention and even showed him a picture of the chicken that normally comes with the pasta. Rather than explaining that they had run out of the original chicken or that a substitution had been made, he simply told me that was the chicken they had and that is what comes with this pasta. My concern was not just the substitution, but the lack of communication. If the restaurant no longer had the original chicken, the appropriate response would have been to let me know before preparing my order and ask whether I was comfortable with the substitution. The waiter then brought the manager over. Unfortunately, the manager's approach made an already disappointing situation much worse. Instead of asking how he could help, he approached me by asking, "What is your issue?" I explained the situation and showed him the pictures of the two different types of chicken. He folded his arms and insisted that it was the same chicken, claiming that it had simply curled up because it had not been pounded enough And it will sometimes do that. He could remake my order but it would be the same chicken. I explained that I order this dish regularly and know exactly what the chicken normally looks like. These were clearly two different pieces of chicken. What upset me most was being made to feel as though I was wrong or being dishonest about something I had personally ordered and experienced many times. The manager also stated that he had already looked at the chicken, even though he had been standing at the check-in podium and came directly to my table after speaking with the waiter. This made the interaction feel even more dismissive, rather than like a genuine attempt to understand or resolve the problem. Mistakes happen in restaurants. If the kitchen had made a simple mistake or the restaurant had run out of the original chicken, I would have appreciated an honest explanation and a sincere apology. Instead, the situation turned into an argument over whether I was correct, and there was no acknowledgment of the issue or concern for my experience as a customer. read more

I love the oreo cheesecake. I have gone back to this location various times both togo and dine in and service was amazing. Fast on deserts and same taste. However my togo cheesecakes usually have a better presentation. The chicken and lettuce wraps tasted really good. My server was on the busier side however checked up on my table. Therefore, I asked for a manager. I was then put on hold for 29 minutes before they disconnected the line. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE. She puts me on another hold until the Manager, Mara, answers. I explain the situation, and her only resolution is to come an hour and a half early. The moment she hangs up the other line disconnects. Therefore, they knew I was holding the entire time. As a local business attempting to use your establishment for an annual recognition dinner, this was very disappointing. Had lunch here today, our server was very kind and attentive. We ordered the crab dip, it's siesta delicious! For our main meal, we ordered meatloaf and a Thai chicken salad. The server Dylan never checked on us and even had the audacity to ask if we wanted cheesecakes with our togo boxes. The food must have been sitting in the warming light for a long time because my chicken marsala was hard as cardboard when I got home and I don't live far. What a nightmare! I have eaten at the Cheesecake Factory at Crabtree Mall many times and have always been very pleased. Not so last night. We waited for our food for over and hour. They were sold out of Cuban Sandwiches??? I ordered a smash burger without onions instead I received a burger with no bun covered in sauteed onions. When I mentioned this to the waitress she argued with me regarding what I ordered. To correct the order error I was brought a bun on a plate. I hate onions and couldn't eat the burger. While at the mall in Raleigh, we just so happened to stumble upon Cheesecake Factory, and of course it was a no brained to stop in for a quick couple bites. We ordered a round of waters because we knew these dishes were carb loaded and heavy. Save the carbs for the food! We ordered crab ragoons, the egg roll sampler, cheeseburger egg rolls, and of course a free bread basket. The bread is the perfect starter for any meal. Idk why people have such a gripe with Cheesecake Factory, it hits every single time!! The waitress was super nice and welcoming. We sat at the bar area and got our food pretty quick. Usually I'm a big fan of this restaurant. I went there today on my birthday, had a free slice which I told my server. She closed out our bill, I went to the counter to see if I could still redeem my birthday slice. After spending over $110 I was told I couldn't redeem it because the bill was closed out. Very poor customer service, even when I had the receipt to prove it and I never left the restaurant. I could've escalated it and ask for the manager. After showing my text confirmation to the hostess she couldn't find it, it took what seems like forever for her to ask for help. My family and I selected this restaurant partly as a joke to see what all the hype is on social media about women not wanting to go on a first date here. Silly if you ask me. I had eaten at CF many years ago and didn't remember anything troubling about it. We went in on a Sunday around noon and, though there were lots of people dining, the wait was only around 10 minutes. The wait for actual food was a little long though, but nothing unbearable and understandable since the kitchen was likely very busy due to the crowd. The food was fine. I ordered the Skinnylicious soft chicken tacos. My teen son ordered the Bacon Burger with Mac and cheese. My daughter got orange chicken with white rice. I think my daughter was most pleased with her meal, but my son and I didn't have complaints. The bathroom could've used some attention, but the restaurant was super busy so hopefully it got some attention after we left. I visited The Cheesecake Factory at Crabtree in Raleigh on July 10th to celebrate my birthday, which had just passed on Tuesday, July 8th. I spent around $77 on food and drinks, signed up for Cheesecake Rewards that day, and mentioned to my server (Shane) that my birthday had just passed, not realizing the free birthday slice had to be preloaded in advance. While I completely understand the policy, what bothered me was the way I was treated. The server dismissed my request abruptly, called out my name while at the register, and made a loud, uncomfortable comment about my lack of rewards in front of other guests from across the restaurant. There were literally four tables between us when he was talking to me. Who does that? I came in to celebrate something meaningful with my son, and instead of kindness or even basic courtesy, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I still left a cash tip because I believe in leading with grace, but I walked away with a bad taste in my mouth. A little empathy would have gone a long way. read more

We had the BEST server named Shane, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and super efficient! We never had to ask for anything, all of our needs were met before we even had any. This is a 3.5 star visit. I came here around 3:45 on a Thursday afternoon, so not too busy. Lady at the reception desk was having to seat people, so getting a seat took longer than normal for a not busy time. She put me in the bar area again, but then I noticed she was putting almost everyone in the bar area. Guess that's the downside of coming earlier. The lunch portions are available until 5:00 so I ordered the da Vinci pasta. The young lady that was my server had the whole bar area by herself. She did an excellent job with so many tables and always had a smile. She brought bread and butter quickly . My food came out in a reasonable time however there were some issues...some of it was just warm and some of it was hot??? The pieces of chicken were small, but two of them had a little bone and some had cartilage . Disappointing, so I won't order it again. Wish there had been a little bit of some kind of veggie with it. I had pecan turtle cheesecake for dessert. It was good but was surprised that the main flavor of it was chocolate. This is due to the thick chocolate crust and the chocolate on top. Very little pecans or caramel. I took part of both dishes home. The tables were clean and when guests left the table was cleared quickly. I appreciate that.
