Man this certain location is a riddle. What I mean by that is their drive-thru service. The computer screen one is broken sometimes and you have to place ur order "face-to-face" at the first window. Well, sometimes the computer one and the face to face are down and u have to place ur order at the second window where u would normally pay. Confusing sometimes because you don't which one to talk to. The employees are pretty good in customer service. There are a few bad apples spread throughout the day. Expect to wait a while. This review is NOT about McDonalds in general, but about THIS LOCATION. This is hands down the worst McDonalds location I have ever experienced! The order system is just weird - sometimes you order at the menu, sometimes you order at the window, and there is no way to know when is when. They have an almost perfect record of screwing up orders. I've gotten so used to it that I no longer bother to complain. In the long run, things seem to even out, since food shorted on one order will eventually be covered by extra food given in another. I, for one, prefer fried eggs to scrambled, so I order my breakfast sandwiches with "round egg." Any other McD's establishment can handle this without issue. Here, I get the wrapped sandwich with the big "ROUND EGG" exception sticker, but the actual sandwich is just as likely to have no egg or a scrambled egg than a round egg. The service is slow, but more importantly - absolutely clueless. It's been three years now that this location has been my neighborhood McD's and it has consistently been horrible over that long period (which points to upper management more than any particular shift or employee). Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night, busy or empty - you can be almost certain that your order will be wrong and some problem will happen with the ordering process at this location. I've complained, I've returned with receipts to get orders corrected. I've been on and on but to no avail - it seems like you either learn to live with the incompetence or move elsewhere (fast food choices in the area are extremely limited). Food quality is typical of McD's. This is 100% about the consistently poor management at this location. I fully get that mistakes happen, but when they happen more than not, consistently over years in different shifts, there is a problem. If this place didn't have the McD's reputation to fall back on, there's no way it would still be in business. Check your orders carefully, be prepared to wait, go back, and ride on the poor management express. read more

So, I entered McDonalds in Loma Linda CA because I know it has a McVeggie, thinking too, that in Finland/Sweden's McDonalds they have a permenant McVegan on the menu and in India's McDonalds have had 'Veggie' on the menu for some time. I go here for the kids, most of the time. This a choice of convenience and familiarity when I eat here. The service is usually terrible if I have to interact with anyone younger than 25, but the rest of the staff actually appreciate their job and do well servicing us. Ordered a fish fillet tonight and either in the tarter sauce or in the fillet, there was a plastic tag. Management was very apologetic and asked if I wanted a new fish fillet or just make note that there was plastic in my food. Not sure if that is an appropriate way to handle this type of case. I just received a sausage biscuit that is so hard I could use it in masonry. I'm certain that this bad boy has been sitting around for at least 14 hours, and then was placed in a microwave, and served to me. I am displeased. I'd rather go across the street to Stater Bros and buy some microwaveable Jimmy Deans biscuits than make this mistake again. This location is very hit and miss...and today McDonald's on Lugonia, today you have missed. Zero stars!! I got to wait 10 mins before I even got a chance to order from the drive thru today. I get to the window for my food and wait another 10. After waiting there when I finally got my order it was incomplete of course and had to wait another 5 mins for that. So as you can see this trip to the "fast" food joint wasn't so fast. To top it all off the person at the was less than pleasant, no "I'm sorry for the wait" far from it. Where to begin... How about this morning (what we swear will be our last time). The lid on our smoothie wasn't put on correctly and it spilled all over our car. This has happened numerous times with soft drinks (not helped by the fact that McDonalds drink lids have to be the worst/thinnest in the industry). We ordered two vanilla lattes neither of which had any coffee in them (just milk/sweetener). We also ordered two egg McMuffins without meat. Both were very badly made with runny eggs and one had meat. Total cost $21. Would love to have that back. Unfortunately today is not an anomaly. We've had numerous problems with our orders in the past and at least three instances of being stuck in the drive-thru after being told that they're out of ice cream or that their card reader is down (how about a sign at the drive-thru entrance!!??). Maybe today was just a particularly bad day, but I don't plan on giving them another chance with a new Starbucks across the street. read more

I've visited this location about six times. My order has been correct once. I always order an egg McMuffin with no meat and fries. The fries are always perfect at lunchtime. The people taking the order are always nice and the food comes fast. Egg McMuffin is $3.50 or so. Most of the time they put meat on it. I ask the manager for a new one and when it comes back to me it tastes like meat, which means they literally just took the meat off. For a vegetarian, this isn't really a good option. If you confront them about it, they lie. The last time I went, they took the cheese off (there was cheese melted in the wrapper but not on the sandwich. I assume they realized they put meat by accident so just took the whole thing off. I tried to ask for a replacement but they actively avoided me and I didn't have time to mess around with a 30 minute break. I think I've given them ample opportunity, and I can see from the reviews that nothing will change and corporate doesn't give a crap. read more

The service here absolutely sucks. They never give me sauce, even if I tell them what I want right before they hand me the bag. Sometimes they don't give us straws, or full on forget to give us part of our order. Another reviewer mentioned the drive through being a better option than inside - you're wrong. I keep coming here because I like McDonald's, but it's a minimum 10 min wait in the drive through no matter the time of day or how long the line is. Service is definitely worse at night though. I came through after 11 pm once and waited forever because there were a ton of cars, which is fine. But we pulled up to order, and didn't hear anyone ask for our order. After several hellos it was obvious the drive through person wasn't paying attention (or was purposefully ignoring us). After 10-15 minutes we tried a last "hello?" before pulling away, and finally she answered. My boyfriend, surprised to finally be hearing from someone said "oh hi! We didn't think anyone was here." To which she replied "yeah, cause we're busy." I unfortunately don't remember the entire conversation, but she was very rude and responded to everything my boyfriend said in the b*tchiest way imaginable. I've worked in food service before and I know it really sucks, but I have no sympathy for someone who treats customers like crap just because it's "busy."
