What I got was shit load of onions on both burgers & not 1 single pickle slice. Both my receipt & labels on burgers stated exactly what I ordered. Had to wait 10 min to go through drive through again & get my $$$ back. Manager rude w/ attitude - didn't even apologize. Staff is obviously illiterate - can't read, incompetent with ZERO work ethic! I did a mobile order and drove here 2 mins from my house. Got there at 1047 and there was a cone in the drivethru because they closed at 11pm. I had no way to call so I moved the cone and drove around. Blew the horn for 5 mins while they all ignored me finally opened the window and I told them I did a mobile order and already paid on app. The lady got an attitude with me saying they out the cone there for a reason. Well u close at 11. How else am I to get my food. So they had me wait there till 1119. Finally gave me my food. 39 min wait with no one else there. Gave me the food and they had dumped salt all in the fries. I am giving this place a five star because of the "kids" that have been working here are so friendly and the service has been great and they deserve the praise. Is it a bit odd for a 63 year old man to be writing a 5 star review for a McDonald's drive-thru? The thing is... they are doing things so well here, I just HAVE to thank them, and with the restaurant all locked up due to Covid-19, I can't go in and thank a manager... so here it is. Like I said, I am an older guy. Lived in California all my life. I can remember years ago when McDonald's was a special treat, and their very basic menu included that tasty Big Mac. If you had that and an order of their world-famous fries, you really had something yummy! Then, over the years, the Big Mac shrunk, dried out, and got pushed aside on the menu by all the other burger styles which came and went. At the same time, it became harder and harder to get a hot, fresh order of french fries... most of the time the fries were soggy and room temperature. McDonald's Big Mac and fries became nothing you'd want, and that was my experience at all the McDonald's I visited over the last 30 years or so. Blah. Until I happened to find this restaurant. I'm not sure how or why the "#1" combo at this particular McD's is so damned good, but it just IS! This summer, I purchased a home n the mountains... my lifelong dream. We drive right past this McDonald's every weekend going up there, and I make sure to time our return home on Sunday so that we pass by this McDonald's at dinner time so I can get their perfect Big Mac and hot fries. So far I have done this most every Sunday for about 3 months and have never gotten a disappointing meal. That is no accident... that is people who are working hard, following the plan, listening to the boss and putting out good old McDonald's food! Thanks, guys. This place is a joke. I've been here before with long waits but when I saw the line was short and needed something quick I decided to give another chance. Ordered a small breakfast (sausage McMuffin and has brown) and they parked me. You can't park in the right spot because apparently they just have everyone park and wait. this way no one sees the line and decides like I did to try it. Isn't this supposed to be fast food not park and wait? So anyone that dares to try this place in the future (which I would highly recommend you don't) don't let them park you. This place is set up for total hands free and non-customer interaction it is unbelievable. When you drive up, all the parking spaces are for mobile order pickup only. The open spaces for the general public are about 100 yards away from the door. Once you get inside the lobby, you either order from a self serve kiosk, or wait at the short little counter for a person to acknowledge you. Plan on a long wait as the people behind the wall that blocks all view of the kitchen either can't see your there or just don't want to be bothered. I've been here a couple times at mid morning on a weekend when the lobby is completely closed with a sign on the door for drive thru only. You will have the same long wait if you want a drink refill as nobody comes out of the kitchen. It's McDonald's, so the bar is pretty low. Today, they didn't even come close. Went thru the drive thru, ordered a # 5 & bumped the down and no to a shake & ordered an additional one for myself. Apparently, that was too difficult. Got my order but just one shake. Explained it to one kid who had to get the mgr. it must have been too complicated. He informed me that he had no register and could only take credit card. I didn't pay with a credit card. You couldn't tell me how much the shake was. Ridiculous! Gave him 380 something and he asked me to wait in the lot. 20 minutes later still nothing. I go inside of it still sitting on the counter and everybody's just standing around. read more

I was really disappointed, I was given a raw cheese burger. Its to be expected for the patty to be a little pink sometimes but this patty was very raw and it made me sick. Very disappointed with the flat out lie the manager told to our face. We went inside to order and pay cash. We were told that they "didn't have any change" and would we be ok with rounding up? Mind you, our change was 18 cents. They wanted us to round up 80 cents instead of them rounding down 20 cents, because they can't plan properly for those who still pay cash. Ridiculous, we are small business owners and our bank isn't restricting change - so using this excuse 18 months into the pandemic is poor management and just a flat out lie to customers. Came here for a breakfast it was very busy. I came inside due to the multiple cars in line. I waited about 20 mins for my order of 4 sandwiches. That wasn't the issue waiting. The issue was the manger in duty " Deanna " she is the most unprofessional person I've ever seen. Cussing at her workers that are trying to keep up with the rush, telling them hurry the fuck up the orders times are to high get it together while she not going back to help she's just standing there barking orders throwing stuff in bags that half the customers are complaining they're missing hash browns and sandwiches. She has a messy bun with not one but TWO GIANT hickies on each side of her neck where everyone can see. She could have buttons her collared shirt to even try and hide them. I was disgusted. I asked a employee for her name and she was scared to give it to me because she didn't want to get in trouble. So I went to the back and when she delivered another order she said her name is Deanna we're told to give false names when customers ask. I know that employee was fed up of her manager because that was one of the ones she was cussing at saying " do you know what your doing? Do you need me to switch you out your going to slow? Hurry the fuck up these times are to high " and I wasn't the only person to see the unprofessional behavior me and about 3 other customers were talking about it while we waited for our orders felt bad for her team members that have to work with her. Stuck on big bear mountain trying to come home for like 8 hours, come to the first place that's open at 11:35pm. I order ONE thing. The artisan grilled chicken sandwich- with NO MAYO. But the guy at the drive thru says, "oh no, there's no mayo on those sandwiches." So I say, "Great! Add ketchup! We get our food, and guess what? Mayo ALL OVER half of the sandwich. Like they slopped it on. And no ketchup!!! I was still starving after being stuck coming down the mountain for 8 hours that I scraped off the mayo and ate it, but was definitely not happy. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been too. There were at least 6 people working, and it took almost 30 minutes to get my order. The manager and supervisor there are complete jokes. When people started getting frustrated, they went in the back and HID because they didn't want to deal with them. One poor woman was waiting 30 minutes for a filet-o-fish! Just went to go order breakfast and they had their dine in closed. (Understandable for whatever reason/possible covid measure) I then proceeded to ask to use the restroom and was denied. What made the situation upsetting was that the employee then proceeded to LIE that the restrooms were being sanitized. Thought I wouldn't follow through with her attempted deceitful response. Today I ordered my niece a 4 piece nugget happy meal. That's it. Just the happy meal. They ask me to pull out and park because it's not ready yet. Annoying to begin with because they always take forever to bring stuff out. I go and park and sit there with 2 restless kids for 15 minutes. No one brings our one happy meal. So I go back through the drive through and get to the window. They have no idea I was out there waiting. Even though this is the same girl who sent me to park.
