I had four failed mobile orders while trying to order a family meal with mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw, mac & cheese, and a blueberry cheesecake. Each time, the system flagged the order saying, "Your order did not have items..." but didn't specify which item was causing the issue. I ended up removing items one at a time and trying to reorder. After several attempts, I finally simplified the order and was able to place one for chicken, sweet tea and a strawberry cream cheese pie. After 10 minutes of failed orders it finally went thru, so I headed over since I noted ASAP which the order was ready when I arrived. The chicken was boxed up but I didn't realize until later that they gave me an apple pie instead of the strawberry cream cheese pie I ordered. We did receive all 16 pieces of chicken, and I appreciate that the order was ultimately filled. However, the chicken itself just didn't taste like the Popeyes I'm accustomed to getting at the other locations I've visited. I understand that things can go wrong, especially with mobile ordering, and I'm not expecting perfection. However, having multiple ordering issues, receiving the wrong dessert, and then being disappointed with the food quality made this a frustrating experience overall. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I wouldn't choose to return to this location. I'll continue going to the Sparks location or another Chicken establishment where my experiences have been much better. Hopefully this was just an off day, but it definitely wasn't the Popeyes experience I was expecting.

He had a tone of voice that made him sound incredibly bored or whiny, kind of like a TV cliche of a fast food worker. He then sounded like he was horsing around with coworkers, yelling "Owww" into the speaker. I mostly ignored that. I saw they had some new item on the drink menu, a strawberry passion fruit agua refresca, so I ordered that. He sounded really confused when I tried to order what was showing on the menu right in front of me, saying they don't have a strawberry passion fruit agua refresca, they only have strawberry, and the passion fruit flavor is only for some ice drink thing (yes, probably the agua refresca). This is all my interpretation of what he was saying, because he was doing a lot of starting and stopping and bored-sounding non-enunciating. I wanted to back out of the drive-thru, because I couldn't tell if he was high, and I was feeling like I wasn't really going to be able to order the thing I wanted. I just decided to quickly put through a basic order and move on, but the lack of professionalism bothered me enough that I felt I should let others know that this is a location to avoid.

The crunchy tacos, unfortunately, had gotten a little soggy when getting back to the hotel room. Also, the fries were not that enjoyable either. The Sprite was refreshing but barely had any ice to make it fully cold for consumption. I do want to highlight that the customer service was beyond patient and friendly. The gentleman who assisted me with the order placement and at the window delivered outstanding professionalism with care. Even though the meal was hit or miss that evening, I appreciated the warm customer care. This location stays open until 12:00 AM from Sunday to Thursday and then until 2:00 AM from Friday to Saturday. I'd give Del Taco another chance whenever I come back to the Reno area.
