There was so much food that we ended up taking some of the fries and our burgers home to enjoy tomorrow. And then there were the Parmesan garlic wings. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. While they still had their Holiday drink specials menu, the server did confirm they have 2 for 1 mimosas and $6 bloody marys. The special was a Prime Rib breakfast burrito which both of the people I came in with ordered while I ordered the breakfast BLT. The Prime Rib burrito was so tender and juicy with a fried egg in the middle, definitely a special item for sure. I had the BLT on an everything bagel with a side of fruit and it hit the spot of a lighter, less hearty breakfast. For good service and cheap drinks, I will definitely be back!
