I found a way to get a full triple quarter pound meal with large fry and drink for less than $10. Ordered my food through the app. When I got to the window, my order said pick up inside for some reason. Not drive-through. The girl at the first window was very nice and said that she would go to the front and switch it over. when I got to the second window, one of the managers was there and had me repeat what I ordered. She smiled and gave me my food. So really nice service. So with post Covid inflation, prices of fast food restaurants has gone a little crazy. Double burger and cost around nine dollars. You could buy 3 pounds of hamburger at the supermarket for the same price. Frankly, I'm not sure how these fast food places can sustain this. However, I did fine trick to getting a decent meal for less than $10. Now for the food: First, you have to have the app. As of late, you get a free french fry with the purchase of any drink. So I order a large sweet tea, extra ice, and get a free french fry. Then some of the McDonald's, not all of them when you add a double quarter pounder to your order, you can customize it adding an extra quarter pound Patty for $1.50. Some of the other McDonald's will charge you three dollars, however, the one it's only $1.50. A nice thing about being a quarter pounder, I don't think they can actually reduce the weight and still call it a quarter pounder. Not really sure. So with free french fries and $1.50 extra for a quarter pound Patty the total for a triple burger large drink and french fries is $9.70.

Today I ordered 2 apple pies for delivery and I received 2 pumpkin and cream pies. Disappointed because don't really like cream.

This review is strictly for the drive thru because I've only ever dined in once and it was years ago. I have been to this McDonald's several times and have not had any issues, in fact, I prefer this location over Lemmon Drive. I have no complaints about the service or food. On today's visit, I ordered 2 mcdoubles and a large drink. Surprisingly, my mcdoubles were neatly put together, ketchup and mustard weren't oozing out and the pickles and onions were firmly in place, as well as the buns (both top and bottom!). Given my recent experience at another location, I was pleasantly surprised. :) The only issue I have with this Mcdonalds has nothing to do with either the staff, service or food. Instead, it is about the configuration of the entrance into the drive thru. I seriously think there could have been a better way to set this up, but I do understand that there were space constraints. At any rate, that's just my non-engineer degree 2 cents.

First, let's address the liability issues. When somebody orders a toddler toy, they put a regular toy in there, which is a choking hazard for the toddler that it was ordered for because they ignore the order instructions. Second, they put drinks in the same bag with the food, so the food ends up freezing cold! I can honestly say I really hate this McDonald's, and it isn't getting any better. It sometimes decent if you eat inside, but that's not even a guarantee. Even when we ate inside, a toddler toy was requested, and they ignored us and we had to take the toy back to get a toddler toy. If people order a toddler toy and are given a choking hazard that is definitely a liability! Tonight's meal is less than mediocre! We got cold fries, missing food, and no toddler toy! I would have even been happy with the boo bucket that's supposed to be included, but they didn't do that.

Please take down 24/7. This god dam location is closed when I attemp drive thru at 410am. They close before that I'm sure. But really fing annoying when you rely on dam drive thru that is labeled 24/7 from sign on freeway and every food search. The picture shows facts.

Can't walk in to store and no indication of this on on the mobile order app or windows of restaurant. This requires you to go thru the drive through... the drive through is a mess do to high traffic from other stores, restaurants, etc. Customer service was rude and unaware of what was going on. In the end the food was thrown together. Never been so unsatisfied with a McDonalds and will never be going to this location again.

The unfinished burger and the lack of fries.

So glad we finally tried this place!…read more Some friends of ours tried this place a few years ago, but honestly, I had never even heard of it until I recently saw a review pop up. I told my husband, "We've got to try this place!" We were going to be downtown anyway, walking along the river, so it seemed like the perfect time. I'm so glad we did! I have to say, this place is definitely hipster--and I mean that in the best possible way! It has such a cool, unique vibe. There are diner-style seats with limited space right up along the bar, outdoor seating, and even a bus that has been turned into dining space. The bus was super cute and quaint inside. Today was absolutely perfect for sitting outside, so we took advantage of the beautiful weather. Our waitress, Nicole, was absolutely adorable! She was friendly, welcoming, and made our experience even better. There was another gentleman helping serve us as well, and unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but he was also super nice and attentive. Now for the food! I ordered the Pastrami Pile Up, and boy, they weren't kidding--it was PILEDDD UP! There was a generous amount of really good pastrami, along with a 1/3 pound burger. The pastrami was delicious. For me, the burger could have used just a little more seasoning and I had asked for medium-well, but it came out more medium. I didn't want to complain, though, and overall it was still good. The tater tots were fantastic! They came out hot, crispy and perfectly cooked. Definitely the kind of tots you keep eating even when you know you've already had enough. My husband ordered the Nevadan Burger with Swiss cheese, and he said it was really good. He also got the fries, which were hot and very tasty. There was so much food that we ended up taking some of the fries and our burgers home to enjoy tomorrow. And then there were the Parmesan garlic wings. My husband said they were absolutely delicious and had just the right little bite to them. I'm not really a wings person, so I didn't try much, but he was definitely impressed! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are so happy we finally gave this place a try. Between the fun atmosphere, unique seating options, friendly service and generous portions, there's definitely a lot to come back for. Next time, I think we're going to try something completely different--and I already have my eye on the fried Oreos with ice cream! So glad that random review popped up and convinced us to give this place a try. Sometimes you just have to follow the recommendation and go!

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

So I decided to give it a try. My husband and I were there for lunch. Upon walking into the store it is just so light and bright and open. The presentation of meats and seafood are displayed so beautifully. The menu for fresh food cooked right off the grill was right next to the cash register. My husband went with the bison, barbecue burger, and a side of fries, and I had the original burger with my choice of cheeses. Everything was prepared and served hot and fresh! We were offered ranch to go with our fries. I had a house made thousands island type sauce (but way better) to go on my cheeseburger. It was delicious. I asked one of the employees (Sarah) what was in it. She was very pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable about all of their house made sauces. I told her that I loved the garlic in the Thousands island style sauce so she gave me a sample of their garlic aioli sauce! If you are a garlicholic like me, this is a must try!! Chefs kiss, for sure! I cannot recommend this location enough! When in Reno, it's a must try! If you go, tell Sarah her perimenopause, Indiana, garlic loving friend said hello!

(Their Classic in my photo is probably their least impressive looking burger.) I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. Updated Reno Burger Rankings primarily on quality/taste but also value is factored in but to a lesser degree: #1 Armandos #2 Royce #3 Beefy's tied with The Parlor #4 Archies Giant #5 Juicy's
