I went to get my son a cone and was told they didn't have ice cream, the machine was broken... not surprised. However I was surprised when I walked back in to the chevron to grab snacks for my son. Depends on the time of day. During rush times it's OK but during off hours "buyer beware". Burgers dry and fries cold, been under the warming light way too long. I live in Rio Vista and when ever I go there I always say "make it fresh, I'll wait" Kind of defeats the purpose of fast food but the alternative is burgers that are like shoe leather. We were headed out of town and needed something quick we were getting gas and decided to grab something quick. The guy behind the register was friendly and efficient. I often stay up late and lose track of time, but that is no excuse for them to close the drive-thru 10 minutes before their posted closing time! This has happened to me on more than 3 ocassions and I am outraged. I would understand if it was a minute before, but this was 10-15 minutes away from their posted closure and I was out of luck. So after coming here at least twice a week, thus why I'm fat,I just can't stand the service. Usually missing straws or forks, or getting four little packets of ketchup when i have ordered 3 large meals all with fries. And, to top it off, sometimes they close 15 to 20 minutes early. They're going to miss something that you ordered. It's not a matter of when but what. I pass through here a lot and there's always somethin they miss. Today, it was French fries. Check your food before you pull off, other than that, the staff are pretty friendly, etc. The place appears to always be clean. read more

My experience at this particular McDonald's was the worst that I have ever had. I ordered a Big Breakfast without meat because i am a vegetarian. By the time my food was given to me I had a hard time understanding how anyone could screw up an egg THAT much! It was like eating rubber. The hash browns were greasy, the english muffin was like cardboard, the pancakes tasted like a sugar mill and due to that fact that I am a vegetarian and had NO meat, I had to pay full price for the meal as if it had meat! When complaining to the manager about the food, he said, " That's the way it is". and he did NOTHING about it! Incredible! NEVER AGAIN!!! IF you dare to go, bring a barf bag.. i walked into this mcdonald's and some dude with like a bandanna on came up to me, he worked there, and asked do u need help and i said was that a rasist joke, he said no sir with a smug face, then he asked if i wanted a mc fappe, i declined his offer, i told him i just came in for a mc double and he said ok will that be all, and i knew he was trying to get smart with me so i told him i will take my time and order what i want i told him no that wont be all ill take a medium drink, he proceeded to roll his eyes at me, and then gave me the finger when i left, i had a terrible experience at this mcdonald's but its ok me and that guy are best friends now read more

Never thought Id be reviewing McDonalds but THE BAD REVIEWS ARE RIGHT. They closed a FULL HOUR EARLY. Went to the drive through...they ignored me. Then I saw the Manager hand off two huge bags of food to someone waiting in line...probably giving away the extra food before they shut down for the night...do what you want with leftovers but shame on you for closing so early on a Saturday. read more

ok first off bad cashier didn't know how to take an order we couldn't hear what she was saying took about 10 minutes to order then we got the food checked it the order was completely messed up our fries were almost empty slushies were like juice then we returned the food to get it correct and i seen them wipe the mustard then we checked the food again still messed up on one burger at that point we were about done and left thank you for the great service and food;) read more

Horrible customer service! After a long day on the road with my three year old, I stopped by to get him some food. I went through the drive-through, placed my order and almost passed the first window. I made a little comment like oops, wasn't sure if I was supposed to stop at the first window or not and the drive-through cashier cocked a big attitude with me. After I picked up his food from the next window, I opened the Happy Meal and they dumped his fries all over the box and did not provide any napkins. I'm hoping they didn't do anything else to his food. You can get mad at me all you want but don't mess with my kid, he's innocent in all of this and next time show some better customer service. So went in here today and ordered $20 worth of food, the cashier was new (no problem, nice kid and I have lots of patients) unfortunately the order wasn't rang up incorrectly and we were short a cheeseburger and a drink. I didn't realize we were short the burger. The Shift manager ( a young Latina woman with her nose pierced) came and rudely asked if there was a problem. I had stated we were missing a drink. She said well you didn't pay for it, where is the receipt, I said I didn't receive one. She rolled her eyes at me in which I responded.. Really? I've spent a lot of money here and your going to act like that? It's just a drink. She grabbed a medium cup and slammed it on the counter and said just so you know I'm giving this to you, you didn't pay for it. Instead of just apologizing for the mistake. I filled my cup and went to the table as she glared at me and then realized that my 95 year old grandpas cheeseburger was missing, I went back and asked if my order showed a cheeseburger, which it didn't, understandable as the guy was new and no big deal, I paid for it. But then when the burger was up I took it off the tray and she yelled ummmm is that yours? Did you pay for it. She should be fired, if I owned this place I'd think twice about keeping her on the pay roll. I'm a paying customer and I spent almost $25 on low grade fast food. No need for all the attitude over a medium drink that I ordered and wasn't charged for. read more
