This location just went thru a major remodel and the space has been drastically updated both in contemporary looks and the friendliness of the staff. It appears that the staff are much happier given the changes in this location. They have also installed self ordering kiosks in this venue, but most seem resistant to utilizing this technology at this time. Parking has been improved as well. Multiple times I have had issues with people on little fixable issues yet no one wants to take the time to resolve it. This place has been recently remodeled so it's now haute-culture, or something, but it's still a McDonald's, so it isn't. Most recently, we came and there was very few people. We love breakfast all times of the day so we ordered 2 sausage mcmuffins (2 for $3) and a large fries ($1 off using the app). As I'm ordering with a male cashier, there's the manager with a new girl and she's teaching this new employee to upsell and always push the large fries on customers. Also, she points out that you always want to get customers to buy the whole meal and not just the sandwich. Furthermore, she tells the newbie that there's currently nothing on the $1 part of the dollar menu (only drinks), and that everything is $1.50 or more. This is so ghetto. I'm not sure how McDonald's is doing overall, but I can see how they must be losing the fast food restaurant share given their sales model. Burger King probably isn't doing much better, but at least if they're a turd they're not trying to polish it and make it shine. Anyways, I digress.
