This McDonald's is a joke I honestly don't understand why they are even open. First the guy taking the order was not friendly at all he seemed in a rush to get us out of the drive thru so they can close . Went in about 1 hour before they closed. I understand they are ready to go home but they can't be rude in the process. I work in fast food too and I don't understand what is the point of not being nice when the last customers of the night come. You never know what kind of day they are having and this store will definitely make your day from good to bad. The manager was lazy when making the food she put the chicken nuggets in a cookies container. I don't know if that's all they have but if that's the case she could of explained it. The manager didn't even greet me while picking up food just handed my food and closed the window. I also ordered a drink and they handed me a full cup of ice with a small can soda. Also didn't explain what's going on or why they did that. It's simple and easy to not work there if you hate to work there. Last time I checked, McDonald's was a fast food restaurant however there is nothing "fast" about this place at all! Not sure why there is always a delay when ordering through the drive thru? It's not like my order is complicated, nor am I making any special requests but for some reason there is always a wait. Is it because this McDonald's fails to retain any employees? For every visit I see a new face and not a friendly face at that. The employees never smile, never say thank you or even bother to apologize and explain the reasons for the delays. What's worse is I've lost count of the times they have screwed up my order or forgot part of my order. Also why do they never have ice cream? You would think that they would be quick to fix their ice cream machine because the longer the machine is out the longer they are missing out on making a sale. I know that when it comes to McDonald's you definitely get what you pay for but I could easily drive to the Burger King nearby or the Taco Bell and get cheap, fast food but with better service and no long wait times. You're really better off going elsewhere for your fast food. In the off chance that the owner and/or manager are reading this, please consider addressing the issues mentioned in my review as well as the outcry of others that are dissatisfied with this McDonald's. As for the advice for potential customers: Don't bother coming here unless you have time to kill and want the worst service and slowest "fast" food ever. read more

One star to the manager who apologized for their multiple mistakes but I did tell her that there's no way I'm going back there. Alex took my order wrong, charging me for extra burgers, once I got my receipt I explained to a young lady that I didn't order what the young guy charged me for, so she asked if I was sure I didn't want the extra burgers? Really? She gave me a refund and once I got both the frappe and shake with the whip cream I didn't want, had to handle them right back. The receipt clearly said no whip cream. The manager apologized and as I'm driving AWAY I noticed the pico guacamole sandwich has just mayo and a tomato slice. I drove back, explained the situation and the young lady named Natalia (who easily received at least verbal prompts from two different managers on how to prepare the sandwich), the young lady was laughing while I was standing there. No soap in the women's restroom. I tell the lady up front and after I wait awhile I go back and stare at her to remind her she was going to check on it. She walks in there and out, and passes right by me (mind you there aren't any other people in that area) so I ask "hey, does it work now?" She can't even stop to say no. They are the worst McDonald. We got in line and when we got to the window almost every thing was out. We stayed calm and ordered what they had. Then it had to be at least 15 min waiting for a frap. Then we told them they were confused. They forgot . Then they tried to play slick and said that they did not have a lot of people. So they were unprepared and they lied. I would not recommend. We stop by this McDonalds every now and then, but we don't really like to go because our order is typically messed up in some way. The food is pretty good, but again, order isn't usually correct. Picked up a happy meal for my daughter and a Big Mac meal for me, I asked for extra ketchup and received no ketchup at all. Just got lunch at the Mickey's location. It's 3:30 pm. More often than not, the service and food is the best of the local Mickeys. Not this time. My order was to go. I sat in the drive-thru lane way past their target delivery time. A quarter pounder, no fries, and a drink. The burger buns were dry and stuck to the cheese which was rubbery outside the meat. It looks like someone ordered extra ketchup and I got it instead. The parts of the burger could not be taken apart. The meat was dry on the edges. Clearly it sat awhile before being served. There were four strips of onion, and no mustard. It was completely tasteless, unappealing, and not worth the calories. I took pics and stuck it into the freezer to take back for a refund. read more

I go to this Mcdonald's more than I should. (LOL) Today my mom and I went thru the drive-thru and placed our order. Of course, we get it and as usual, it is wrong. I was done. I am so tired of spending hard-earned money on fast food that the workers never get it correct. This is not the first time the order is messed up. This, however, is the first time I pulled over, took my receipt in, and showed them they messed up. I order the 2 cheeseburger meal with no cheese. Yes, I get that this sounds weird. However, we use to order everything separately and at the time the worker said, "If you just order the 2 cheeseburger meal without cheese it is cheaper." So, needless to say, that is what we do. I DO GET IT IS WEIRD. I was beyond mad. I told the girl (clerk) the problem and yes, I was mad but not rude. I showed her my receipt which stated NO CHEESE. She goes back to the manager and tells him. Next, she goes to the guy making them. He goes off and says, "Who the FUCK orders hamburgers with no cheese?" Then he states that he didn't FUCKING mess up. UH, Yeah dude you did. READ YOUR SCREEN. He was still going off and telling other co-workers. He used the F-bomb one too many times. I noticed the Manager was in earshot and did not say anything. Right now I am going to give the manager the benefit of the doubt that he was just busy and focusing on orders. I think that is kind of me. ( I do not know how he could not have heard him going off) I did and I was many feet away from him. I am appalled that this young man had no manors and is allowed to talk about customers in this UNPROFESSIONAL manner. He should have been reprimanded and sent home. Then the girl comes over and hands me my food. She says well you should have just ordered plain hamburgers. Who is she to tell the customers how to order their food. I couldn't believe it. I am blown away and appalled that customers are being treated so rudely by workers and clerks. Actually, they are being allowed to treat people this way. This is the worst Mc Donald service I have ever received. Firstly, the girl in the drive thru didn't let us complete our order at the speaker. Then when we tried to complete our order at the first window like we were instructed to do so but the girl at the window told us to go to the next window. Finally at the 2nd window we were able to order our Carmel Frappe and were told they didn't have enough mix for a large Carmel frappe, so we ordered a small. Finally when we got our order it was missing our breakfast sandwiches. It turns out they didn't charge us for the breakfast sandwiches even though we asked for them. I would've known that if the girl at the first window would've given us a receipt or been kind enough to let us know the amount due but she didn't neither did the woman who took our order at the speaker. No one repeated our order back to us and that's the first mistake they made. Next time I will make sure they repeat our order. read more

Poor service, my eyesight was not do good today. I went in to order, cash register lady did.not show me where the menu with smoothies were at. Instead she just stood there. After scanning three menu i found it. I ordered the strawberry shake she repeated something else, i told her no, then repeated my order with a large fries.when i recieve my.order The fries were stale, and there was no straw. Stopped by here on the way to Carmel. The kids were hungry, and it was close to Autozone where I had bought windshield wipers for the van which were very much needed cause of the heavy rain. Hash browns and hotcakes were what we ordered. I used to think that McDonalds hotcakes were the best in the world. By far the worst experience I've had at a Mc Donald's!! The drive through attendant was clearly not enjoying her job, could care less what we wanted and it showed. She was having what could only be categorized as a personal conversation with a manager (blue shirt and tie) which both used profanity during my transaction. Didn't confirm my order or change. Once we drive away we found that my burger hardly had any effort applied to its prep, and actually get the cheese ON the burger! It was cold and hanging OUT OF THE BOX. Service at a fast-food restaurant is never supreme but if there was such thing as a "zero" rating, this particular McDonald's takes the cake. The prices are extremely high and what you get in return is horrible. Paper thin meat + paper thin work ethic = me not ever coming back. It's sad because I'm local to Prunedale, I've had friends and family work there over the last 30 years, but this frustration has been building up for a long time until my last fateful visit. I was the fool that still paid nearly $28 for a medium Big Mac (which was the size of a value cheeseburger) and a medium (disgustingly processed) Chicken McNuggets meal. We did order two large milkshakes (it was hot) for $2.99 each. Those were the only items worth buying. The other roughly $22 went to pure, disgusting garbage with equal service. Hell no I'm not coming back. You can get a much higher quality meal, or better yet, two hamburger meals for about the same price I paid at Stevie's across the parking lot. Today I was at the drive thru. I order my food and drove up to the window to pay. The food clerk asked me to park in the mobile app parking space 1. I waited 10 minutes for my order and it was not even completed. I had a lot of ketchup in the bag but no barbecue sauce to go along with my nuggets even it was clearly on my receipt. I suggest that you double and even triple check your order because it may not be all there. They have young people there who only there to collect a pay check and don't pay much to details. Was there on the 17th of March, I ordered a happy meal for my little boy cheeseburger plain and they got my order wrong I called to let then know and i had also informed them that i did not live in the area and that it was rare that i would be in Prunedale to which they gracefully said I could come at anytime to pick up the replacement happy meal since I would have to drive a ways to get there. Anyway I went today, and it couldn't have gone more unprofessional..they treated me like I was lying, they had no idea of my visit prior to today and the manager who was a Spanish woman asked me what day I came, what's wrong with my meal, and a whole lot of questions that I had just explained to the woman who took my money for another order. She came back to give me a cheeseburger. I said I'm sorry I was under the impression that I was getting a full happy meal replaced? She said did they get anything else wrong? I told her no but whoever I spoke to on the 17th of March told me they would replace my happy meal as long as I brought my receipt. Which I DID have. The manager looked bothered by my response. So she went ahead and gave me a happy meal, No drink. I asked her does this come with a drink? She replied with sarcasm.."oh did they get your drink wrong too??" I am upset..no I didn't get the drink wrong but I am going out of my way to drive out of town for my child's meal that was made wrong in the first place. I am never coming back to this McDonald's. So apparently if you use your card more than once here, the cashier requires management approval. As inquiring minds want to know, I asked why did she need a manager to approve a $2 order?? Manager said it's a protection for the customer in case we dropped or lost our card, no one can make a charge against the card!! I think this is AWESOME, THANKS MC DONALD's this is great news!! As always the fries were fresh and hot, the white chocolate mocha was delish, but my daughter said the double cheeseburger had too much onion. I would have given no stars but I had to so everone would know this place sucks. The men's restroom was messy with toilet liners stacked in a corner, no TP. There was a young girl sweeping and I asked her for some and she said she would get a key, but continued to sweep and then went to the fry station. I asked the cashier and she turned around and asked a male co worker, then he asked the girl i asked to do it and the exchanged words and I patiently went back to a chair and watched. 5 or 7 minutes later i left as they both were tending frys. There was one other customer other and me in the restaurant and two cars in the drive thru. Do your self a favor and go next door to taco bell. I have been going to this McDonald's for 7 years. The service is usually good and the restaurant is clean. However yesterday I waited in the line at the drive for 14 minuets from the time I ordered my food till the time I received my food. I only ordered two sandwiches. I believe they changed management lately. Not for the better it seems. Once stuck in the drive thru I was unable to leave. Needless to say my food was no longer hot and I was late to work because of it. Completely unacceptable! Once upon a time they would ask the person who's order is taking too long to move around front and allow those with quick simple orders like mine to move up and not wait. Once again not disappointed. Ordered a happy meal ..6 chicken nuggets frys apple juice bbq sauce and a gogurt. What we got was a box that said 4 nuggets but they said oh there is 6 in there. At the table we discover 5 nuggets apple slices instead of gogurt and no apple juice or barb que sauce. How hard is it to pack a happy meal????. Apparently impossible.
