Worst location ever. The staff never gets my order correctly. The Filet-o Fish is always cold and dry. Even the locations in San Francisco serve hot food. This time, the window guy didn't even know what I ordered and I was missing items again. Next time, if there is one, I will stay at the window and make sure my lunch is hot and my items I ordered are correct and in the bag. How hard is it to order double cheese burgers plain. McDonalds corporate website says they honor veterans, and there will be special treat for veterans on Veterans Day. I drove through this McDonalds and on Veterans Day and identified myself as a veteran (I have the ID card to prove it). They said they were not a participating restaurant and to go away if I wasn't going to order anything. While Corporate will reimburse franchisees for this expense, they choose not to participate. I also received a very condescending letter from the owner. Their food was not any good anyway, so now I take my business elsewhere. read more

Very unpleasant experience (Wed 10 PM, 8/24/22), placed mobile order with linked debit card for automatic payment. Was told at pickup window that payment was declined, thought that was very odd, gave them 20 dollars and received change. This McDonald's has a rude employee working at the drive- thru window. We were placing our order at the drive-thru. We weren't finished ordering and then he was gone. We waited and kept saying HELLO with no response.we drove up to the window and he had a poor attitude. He threw our change and receipt at us. He closed the window so we couldn't get his name on his work badge. We drove to the next window and asked for the manager. Marcella came to help us. She didn't want to give us his name as she was protecting him. She apologized for him and offered if we wanted anything. We said NO THANK YOU! Wow! I asked for a shake no whip. I get to the counter and the woman there hands me a shake with whip. I calmly tell her I asked for no whip. She then replies "it doesn't say no whip." I tell her again, "I asked for no whip. He took the order wrong." She turns around takes the lid off the cup, spoons the whip cream out and changes the lid and simply hands it to me. i wouldn't give them any stars I ordered cheeseburgers (specifically cheese and bread /no meat) the lady at the order window repeated it back, as I was sure she took the order down correctly at the pickup window I was given my order with meat inside/ I explained that I ordered no meat, just cheese and bread so I gave back the bag of food. The lady handed me back food that she touched with no gloves while checking, after I explained it wasn't made the way I ordered it- she said it was right. I repeated myself (cheese and bread only) she came back a few minutes later and gave me the bag of food. I checked and asked her why she would take the meat out and give me the same food as there were traces of the hamburger patty. NOT RIGHT! As my daughter won't eat meat. She told me to park in the front and asked for the food back so she could throw it away. I handed her the bag after I crumbled it up in a ball and told her it was so they wouldn't give it to anyone else and I asked her if she could send a manager out when they brought my order. She said She was a MANAGER. I couldn't believe she "the manager" would do that. the man who brought my food (after I checked that it was done the why I asked) gave me her name- her name was Adriana unbelievable why would they offer this person a manager position- the rest of the employees are learning from this lady. Several weeks ago I stopped by after work for a fillet o fish. I ordered it with extra tartar sauce and it sure came with it.There was so much that the bottom of the sandwich box was soaked. I also noticed that there was only half a slice of cheese! The manager seemed indifferent to my discontent. Sure she gave a new sandwich but insisted the fillet has always come with half a slice of cheese. She was rude and appeared proud of her ghetto status. For someone having "20" years of service with McDonalds she has poor customer service. I'm glad this happened because I've been wanting to stop eating this unhealthy comfort food. I will not be going back. So if your on H101 and want a burger skip this place and go to JJ's in San Juan Bautista or five guys in Salinas. read more

I normally post positive reviews (you can check my other reviews) but I truly have terrible experiences every time I go here. Milkshake machine is ALWAYS BROKEN OR NOT WORKING RIGHT which leads to a lot of frustration because I have elderly family members and one of their main joys in life that they still have is milkshakes. So they ask me to go get milkshakes and they get their hopes up, then I sit thru the drivethru line for 15-20 minutes only to come away with NO milkshakes or ones that have hardly any flavoring. It is so frustrating and it has happened countless times. Many times I ordered chocolate milkshakes only to get shakes that look like vanilla. It happened so many times that one time I finally complained, and they remade them, but the replacements looked exactly the same - no better. Today I ordered an iced caramel macchiato which Ive gotten a zillion times at other McDonalds but the one served here looked really weird and not filled all the way. When I said something (this is AFTER another annoying broken milkshake machine incident) the employee argued with me and said thats just the way the machine makes it. I had to say "Ive ordered these a bunch of times and they never look like this and its not even all the way full," then she looked really annoyed and took it back for a replacement. Then she handed me the wrong bag of food and I accidentally started to drive away with it then realized it when we were still within hearing range, so I let her know and she asked me to go park out front. Had to wait another long time just to get fries and 2 cookies. Thats all I was waiting for and it took forever. Absolutely atrocious service (although the man that brought me the bag was friendly but Im sure none of it was his fault). There isn't another McDonald's nearby so this really stinks read more

Last night I went to the McDonald prunedale drive thru because unfortunately Taco Bell was closed earlier then normal I order 4 of those McChicken or whatever they're called It was a bogo by 1 get one for 1.00 The manager charged me full price which made it to 12 dollars and some change. I brought it up to him before I paid and he got irritate that I called him out and tried to say "yes your correct it went through" I told him then why is the total 12.00 on the screen back there. He tried to play it off and said no no I'll make sure. Started messing with computer and charge me correct price of like 7.20 cents. Not saying it was purposely but when I called him out customer service went down hill and he didn't seem interested to be friendly afterward. Make sure you check prices and double check your math when going shopping!!! Not saying this is price gouging but definitely felt fishy!!! Probably one of the worst experiences ever. The line for the drive thru looked chaotic so we decide to eat inside. We walk inside and the cashier/ manager is assisting a customer regarding coffee. She is frantic with get orders out. Finally it is our turn. There are 7 of us total, and a few more customers come in after us. Still only one cashier and it is almost 7 am on a Friday. We tell her our orders. Two meals and one big breakfast with hot cakes. She gives us our two drinks and we are out of the way. We go over to the drink machine: out of lids and out of ketchup. One of the other employees said that the closers didn't to their job restocking. Our food comes out and we see only two hashbrowns. We ordered three meals that came with hashbrowns. She sighs and says well if you had ordered a meal, you would have gotten another hashbrown. But she ends up giving us another one anyway. We check the receipt, and she had incorrectly rang us up. Why would you give us the drink cups if we didn't order a meal? Irritated a bit. We've already received our food and the rest of our group is still ordering. Trying to order. Mobile app is unknown to the cashier. She is also barista too. No one is helping each other and she is left alone as cashier. We are almost finished with our food when our last party member orders. It was a nightmare. No point in being fast food if it isn't going to be fast. I felt sorry for the guys behind us. I guess that's what you get for stopping at a McD that has signage posted everywhere looking for new hires. read more

Yesterday, I left the Drive Thru overcharged and without any food. They charged me for more than I ordered. I had already been in the Drive Thru for over 10 mins and needed to get back to work.The manager could not resolve the matter quickly so I left with no refund and no food. I live in Prunedale and usually love McDondalds Restaurants. I really want to like my local one. I keep trying to give it a chance and I keep getting disappointed. I blame myself for trying again. I've had issues with this McDonald's for a very very long time now. Seeing as how it's the only McDonalds within reasonable range, I am forced to come here at times. However, I seem to never learn and try to give them another chance. To begin, they have given me burgers with all ingredients when I clearly stated PLAIN! They have forgotten my fries millions of times and gotten my order wrong repeatedly. To top it off the drive through cashier has gone as far as making me pull up to the window after I've told him he still has my order wrong claiming he would fix it at the window and STILL get it wrong. But the epitome of it all is when they gave me a mcchicken WITHOUT a patty. Yea they gave me a bun with lettuce and sauce. They are out of everything all the time. Never have bacon. Don't do breakfast past 10:30 (or earlier, they're really inconsistent) like other good McDonalds in other towns. I've been to a few McDonalds in Salinas/Gilroy/Morgan Hill area that are 100 times better than this one. Not sure how this place can get above a 1-Star review. There's a 4 star who admits the place is dirty and still gave it above a 1. How? Not sure what the point of this one even existing when it's so bad in everything from service to availability. Just close down and let another (actually) good franchise owner open a better fast food joint. I'm submitting my complaints to McDonalds Corp as well, this franchise owner is awful. read more

In the drive through at 9:30 am today, the order taker could not pay attention long enough to take the order. She kept getting it wrong and had to restart the order three times. There were additional things I wanted, but since she was having a hard time I just skipped the rest of the order. At the window I wanted to pay with Apple Pay and she had no idea what I was talking about. Someone in behind her shouted "not in the drive thru" which is not true as I have done this many times including here just the morning before. Wild finally figuring it out, she put the machine part way out the window and then again stopped paying attention and looked over her left shoulder chatting with another employee. She was acting high or altered in some way and unable to work this position properly.
