She refused to tell me her name and claimed that she was the manager after I asked her for her name again she hung on me then she decided not to answer any more calls. All vegetarian: when the McPlant come out even though it saying it vegetarian it really isn't if they're grilling it on the same grill as the burgers. Their website even said they were. Also MCDs if your going to release a beyond or impossible burger for vegetarians. Change your fry recipe and take the beef flavoring off of it. Don't be like Burger King in the beginning. It's been a couple of years since I've been to Mickey Ds. Was on the freeway and wanted something quick. My expectations are low so let's drive thru and be on my way. Bad mistake. Not good. 2 cheeseburgers, how do you screw that up? The drive thru lanes were long so at least the food would be hot and fresh. WRONG. Cold burgers, aging nicely like a fine Cabernet? Way too salty, much like the Pacific Ocean that is a mile away. Inedible. Stale buns, almost like the stale bread my mother would break up and toss on the lawn for the birds. No bottom buns, both burgers had bun tops on top and bottom. Some people might prefer their burgers this way. Reminds me of the muffin top episode on Seinfeld.... Took 1 bite of each. I highly recommend McDonald's for it's for convenient locations and quick service. But I'm traveling around showing houses and driving from city to city. I sometimes need a quick drink, dessert or meal. The McDonald's app is a fantastic way to earn points and have my order ready quickly charged to my credit card on file. If I could give them 0/5 I would. We waited in line last night for 20+ minutes, thought that they were making to order since it was around 11PM which was alright. We order 2 burgers and a mcchicken both with fries. The fountain didn't work and they didn't have any tea currently, once again, fine. We pull up I give my card to the cashier who verbalized our order back to me, rings us up and gives us the food. No receipt. We get home which is right down the road (maybe five minutes) our fries were SO COLD and they gave us FIVE mcchickens... My husband calls this location to see what can be done and the woman on the phone states "I don't have f****** time for this" and hangs up on him. I would honestly give this rating a zero if I could. I've been coming to McDonald's in San Clemente off Pico for years. Today was particularly disgusting. I ordered a sausage egg McMuffin. When I opened the package the bun was wet on the bottom, like really wet. after eating halfway through I realized there was no egg yolk just all egg white and it was gross and sloppy egg white. It's not worth it for me to turn around and go back to McDonald's to complain because I was already 5 miles north when I discovered this. All I can say is wtf McDonald's on San Clemente. This McDonald's was a mess. I came in today to order a Big Mac meal. It was nearly over $12 with tax. What happened to the prices? I went to full up my drink and there was no lids what's so ever. I received my food then, meanwhile eating so many complaints were happening. I was trying to look for napkins but there wasn't any. Okay good food, terrible customer service. I worked at McD for 3 years so I know my way around the menu. Ordered sausage muffin, she was rude and kept asking if I wanted egg, no. Sausage muffin does not come with egg. Asked 3 times for hotcakes with sausage. She said it's on the order. I advised her it was not on the order and she replied THATS NOT YOUR ORDER! Quite honestly that was my order in the screen and we had to ask the guy at the window to add it. She wouldn't let us order a water with the order unless a bottle and then they forgot to give us the water. Definitely went back for that haha. Just not a nice woman read more

McDonalds - who hasnt eaten at a McD's before? This particular location is right off the 5 in San Clemente, and quick/easy to get to while traveling. It offers a drive-thru that has two lane option - which on the outside seems cool - but let me tell you the stress/anxiety that comes along with having to choose! Sadly - I chose the wrong lane this time, got behind the slow poke who cant make up their mind, watching the outside lane let two customers thru while I waited for speedy to make up their mind if they wanted to add an apple pie. SO, I finally get my order in, get up to the window and pay, then creep to pickup my order... "Sir, can you pull up to that spot because your hash browns arent ready yet". Oh gosh I hate that. I then pull forward and wait another 5 minutes for them to be brought out to me - watching two cars behind me get their stuff and drive past me. So, Im sitting there feeling like there is no way to get out of there quickly (pretty much the whole reason I went through the drive thru instead of parking and going in). Wondering what magical combination of food did the people who got their orders and passed me by got. Asking myself if that person who was holding me up earlier enjoyed their apple pie (or if they even got it after-all). Thinking that this 5 minutes of wasted time is making me lose countless positions on the freeway.. telling myself that this is punishment for going to McDonalds while trying to lose weight... the crap you ponder in 5 minutes, I tell yah.. I always refer to this McDonalds as the half way point from San Diego to Los Angeles. It may not exactly be half way but I like to consider it to be. Well I went here with my parents yesterday and we were at the drive thru. My mom wanted the premium roast coffee. The cup in the picture said premium roast coffee. It is just a plain coffee. No mocha, no latte, no whatever fancy name they want to make on a coffee. Then the guy just kept asking if she wanted the mocha, latte, or whatever. They don't have any plain coffee anymore? We then get up to the drive thru window finally and then with my order of mcnuggets we ask them if they have sweet and sour sauce. They say it is in the bag. We drive off and then it is barbeque sauce. We asked and they said that it was in there and it is a different sauce. That is just terrible. I do not like the customer service in this mcdonalds. went through drive through tonight around 11:20... i originally just wanted to order fries but they said "we're not doing fries right now" we didn't question anything and just ordered nuggets and 1 apple pie and 1 holiday pie.. but when we got home around 11:40 we looked at the enjoy by date on the apple pie and it was for 10:20 which means it's been sitting out an extra hour old.
