Okay; I go to McD's pretty much every morning for my usual hot mocha (winter) or hazelnut iced coffee (summer) plus strawberry banana smoothie with an occasional order of hot cakes (once a week). Since O'Reilly owns about 20 franchises here and there in Collin County, I can only comment on my usual spots and they vary. My fave is off Stacy Rd/75 bc every employee knows their customer service and are super friendly; especially Mizz Penny. She always wishes everyone a good day and has never had a bad day that I can tell. Winston is also a very happy guy that hands each customer their order with his usual big smile and friendly self. The other fave spot is off Allen Heights/Bethany as my dad (RIP) requested we go there after every dialysis treatment bc he loved his mocha frappe & fries on MWF. Our regular window server was "Em-ya" for years but she is no longer there and neither is my dad so it's hard to go back. Em-ya recognized my voice and knew exactly what we would order every time and greeted us so warmly. When dad passed, she was SO empathetic and was genuinely sad, sharing in our loss.... The last and probably first McDs in Allen (McDermott/75) is probably my least favorite bc it seems like a training restaurant. The workers come & go so the consistency & CSR is not that memorable. There's a couple people there that should not be waiting on humans. Enough said. My all time fave server is named Justin. He is kinda on the spectrum which made me respect whoever hired him. He's uber friendly and doesn't forget a face. I've seen him in several McD's in Allen & Plano. He never disappoints! As for the food? OMGee it's McDonald's for goodness sakes! read more

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at the McDonald's in San Luis Obispo. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was extremely dry and appeared to have been sitting out for some time. When I brought this to the attention of the young employee at the counter, he laughed and then turned to whisper to a coworker about my complaint. Both employees then laughed. I felt disrespected and dismissed. In addition, the french fries were cold, and most employees did not greet customers with a smile or appear engaged. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the level of customer service did not meet expectations. I hope management can address staff training and customer service standards, as I would like to continue supporting this location. read more

After a camping trip over the weekend, the littles were hungry and wanted Mickey d's. This location was the first one on the way back home. We decided to go here and found out there's no drive thru at this location. So we decided to do mobile order. Thinking we couldn't possibly get our order wrong. Well, the one request of simple fries with no salt was salted. There's a reason of that request..plain and simple. Then the chicken nuggets tasted stale. So a waste of a 20pc order. The person who brought us our order was not personable. She just came up and said here's your order. My friend asked for straws since there wasn't any in the bag. And the person made a big deal and asked aren't they in the bag. My friend checked the bag again and said no. The person didn't have much customer service etiquette. Yesterday I ordered a sausage egg McMuffin and hash brown and was given order went to car opened my sandwich and it was a ham McMuffin. I do not like ham at all and would have never ordered that. So I closed it up took it back inside with receipt in hand and went to counter and politely showed them my sandwich and requested my correct sausage McMuffin. The guy looked at my receipt and said "no that's what you paid for that's what you get" I said excuse me! Another guy looked at my receipt said "no u ordered ham" I said no I did not and a third guy looked at it and " no that's correct order" I said I verbally asked for sausage and they said no and all of them turned their backs to me. At this point it grabbed the attention of other guest and a kind lady behind me spoke up for me as well and said "omg just replace her sandwich" I said this is unbelievable they completely ignored me at this point all turned their backs to me. I still was nice and said I'm willing to pay the difference but still got ignored. The lady said wow this is unbelievable never come back here again. I told her I will never come back here again. At this point i didn't care no more about the sandwich but how disrespectful I was being treated and ignored and refused service to. It was completely uncalled for. I was having a good morning and this just completely put a damper on my morning. There is this thing called common courtesy, hospitality and just down right RESPECT! We have always enjoyed taking our family to McDonald's--it's a kids' favorite, and we've been regulars for a long time. Unfortunately, this location has consistently been disappointing. They frequently forget items, and when mistakes happen, the manager often blames the customer instead of making it right. The manager in particular comes across as extremely rude and unwilling to correct errors, which creates an uncomfortable environment for both customers and staff. On our most recent visit, we waited a long time for our order, only to receive cold fries and food. Sadly, because of these repeated experiences, we likely won't be returning to this McDonald's, which is very unfortunate for our kids who love it. read more

I know you can't expect much from a fast food establishment, but oh boy, what a difficult experience from beginning to end. First, the kiosk wasn't working so I had to pay at the counter. Once at the counter, something must've gone wrong because I was asked to pay over $40 when what I ordered was ~$6. When I got my food, the fries were stale. The McFlurry didn't come with a spoon. While I was waiting for my food I heard the Manager (male, tattoo'd) telling the mostly young female workers to "Hurry your ass" or something with the word "ass" or "asses". Totally not appropriate so I started watching him. He was totally flirting with them, even touched one in particular three times!! Ewww, he ought to know better being at least 10 years their senior!! Then, luckily I checked my bag in my car because they totally forgot one of my McDoubles. I went inside and sure enough it was all lonely, waiting to be put in my bag. They just slapped it into my hand, no "sorry" or anything!! The last straw was when I got home to eat the McDouble they had put the wrong top bun on it!! The restroom, once I was able to gain admittance with the correct code that was not supplied the first time and grudgingly the second, was not at all clean, and I'm not overly fastidious. I would give 0 stars if possible, the service was TERRIBLE. I asked to use the bathroom after our party paid (of 4) for hashbrowns. After we paid, they would only give the code to the 3 girls, not me. I told her that we paid as a group and she told me I HAD to buy something. I was quite amazed that there were three workers working this morning about 630am and they refused to look at me. They were two other people in line waiting--not one person was even acknowledged that we were standing there. I waited about 10 minutes--maybe 15 and ended up walking out. They really need to teach their employees about common courtesy. Even though they are 24 hours, they close the restrooms at 10 PM. They should think about people who are traveling and delivery drivers who you know sometimes they have to use the bathroom at night. Also their customer service is really bad. Not a fun place to have food and some people don't like to use the kiosk please consider having your bathrooms open and leaving the lobby open for people who want come through traveling on their way to somewhere to grab a bite to eat quickly and get on the road read more

Even though online they say they are 24/7, they are closed from 3-4am (I'm thinking they closed to get ready for breakfast). Half of the time, they don't have ice cream. Besides all of this, this is a great place for a late night snack and their food is warm and what you would expect from McDonald's. After having a poor experience here before due to customer service, I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. After ordering through DoorDash last night (11/06), we noticed that there was a missing item. No biggie, it happens. Our dasher was actually nice enough to go back to the restaurant. However, when he returned, the manager refused to give the food. I attached the text so everyone knows I'm not being dramatic when he actually used the word "refused." I wasn't very happy, so I called the restaurant to ask why I was not being given my food. Terrible service, once you order and get your food, which takes a long time which is weird cause all the employees are now in the back so shouldn't there be no shortage of microwavesrs? But if you ever try to get anyone's attention they ignore you and try not to look at you. Even the morning manager on may 21st 2024 at 7:50am was rude. I ordered food went to my truck and noticed they forgot the jam and ketchup which normally comes with the breakfast platters. I walk in and wait at the counter. The manager she sees me but is looking at me and talking to an employee. Which is okay but for 2 min selves ignores me. I ask hey can I get ketchup and jam for my order and I show the receipt to show I ordered food and not just asking for stuff.
