Unfriendly, unorganized and ripped off. Walked in and was standing for 5min before a barista took my order . Received my drink and approached the barista to why about 4oz was missing and the barista stated she could add more milk but ultimately if you request light ice you also get less drink.

They serve full menu in the bar area. We tried banana cream and lemon meringue pie. The pie slices are on the pricier side, but the portions are on the larger side and they were satisfying. The lemon was tart but balanced with the sweetness. The bananas were fresh and the whip cream was light and just enough sweet to give it taste. We took a piece of their world famous champagne cake to go. We enjoyed the following evening. We weren't that impressed with the taste as we were with the hype and presentation. For the price of the cake we would order another piece of pie. Service was great and attentive. Cyndie was so pleasant and welcoming.

I had a Montecristo and I have to say the jams that come with were so delish. Breakfast was pretty good too. I wanted to love the biscuit but maybe it was a little underbaked? But service was nice and the atmosphere was like going back in time. Are some of the murals questionable? Sure - I don't think the Chumash lived in teepees but it's interesting to observe and be immersed in what people imagine the history of California to be.

A phenomenal California Burrito…read more There's dozens of dozens of dining options in downtown SLO. I looked at various menus and online reviews. Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

On my quest to find chai in every city I visit, was excited to try Kreuzberg after reading their…read morereviews. It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

There is a private parking lot and there were plenty of spaces during the day. Once we entered, the ambiance and decor were so bright and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and their service was great. Luckily there wasn't anyone else in line so we were able to ask questions about their menu. After they gave their recommendations, we ended up with the bon bon, abuela's, and an americano. All were very good, but abuela's was my favorite! Very flavorful! There were also seating areas inside and out, and some cute merch and other items for purchase. We will definitely be back if in town again!

We didn't realize the coffee shop was inside the complex and accidentally parked next door. We apologized and moved, but one nearby gentleman seemed disproportionately upset by our innocent mistake despite there being plenty of open spaces. As for the drinks, my husband ordered the Choco Latte and I got the iced Matchas Gracias. Both were decent. My matcha was a bit grainy, but the vanilla cold foam was tasty and helped balance it out. The space itself is charming, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, nothing was wrong with the experience, but the drinks weren't memorable enough to bring me back, and the rocky start with parking left me feeling a little less enthusiastic than I'd hoped. I'm glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip to return.

I ordered the banana matcha latte and my bf got the Vietnamese cold brew. The Vietnamese cold brew ended up being sweeter than my matcha but that not a problem for me because I do not like my drinks sweet. A good hint of banana in my drink but mostly matcha. The banana matcha latte is available for a limited time only unlike the Vietnamese cold brew. SERVICE: We were the only ones at the store during our visit but the service was quick. There was only one person taking orders and making the drinks at the time but even then I thought she did it in a timely manner. AMBIANCE: Plenty of space and a cute instagrammable install photo-op against the wall. Plenty of seats available and some games available for groups visiting the store. There is free wifi available as well. The music playing in the background was not playing too loud. I feel like the store is still pretty empty and needs some more decorations but otherwise a good space to get some work done while enjoying your drink. Will definitely come back and try the other drinks!
