I never thought to review a McDONALD'S because you been to one, you been to them all, right? Well I always have problems at this MCDonald's so I figured I'd tell you guys about it. First, they mess up orders. ALL the time. Then they had a sharp dangerous piece of scrap metal coming loose from the parking stall and it sliced through my tire like butter. I had to have my tire replaced and they paid for it. My breakfast sandwich total was $11.75 . And I ordered three breakfast sandwiches from the $1 menu so why is my total so expensive? "Oh, did you want the meal or just the sandwich" Just the sandwich. But why didn't you ask me instead of just automatically ringing me up for something? Missing hash browns, watered down sweet tea, not enough sugar, dirty bathrooms, complaints from customers. Always a problem. Always at this McDonalds.Train your people better! But 2 stars because it's McDonalds (America's favorite fast food franchise) and it's cheap. read more

I go to this McDonald's about 3 or 4 times a week now. Now, this is not the best McDonald's by any means. But the people here work hard and always try to greet everyone with a smile. I've ordered here probably 100 times now, and I have not had one single order messed up in any way. One of the people who work here gives me a small soda cup when I ask for a water cup. It literally makes my day, every day. I always look forward to to coming back here, and with their prices I can definitely afford to as well :) read more

A new kind of McDonald's for adventurers! Order something. I dare you. Because you won't get what you ordered. While it's nice of them to try to expand my horizons, I'd rather have what I want. And no apologies when you call them on it. While I expect McDonald's to hire from the very bottom of the barrel, they seemed to have swept up everyone who got fired from the DMV and don't understand that you have to push the cup top down for it to stay on. I've been to this McDonald's a few times, and have consistently found the quality to be reliable, but the wait times increasingly long. This is a typical McDonald's inside and out, but the layout of the drive-thru versus entrance makes it easily congested during peak hours, to the point where the drive-thru gets full and the parking lot soon after. I'd highly recommend using the McDonald's app since it helps cut down on the wait time due to the 'mobile parking spots,' and you'll end up saving money if you're a frequent flier here. Finally, the item I'd suggest buying whenever you can here are the McNuggets; they've been good every time I've ordered them and have noticed that other McDonald's locations are more inconsistent. I went tonight and ordered a big mac single, and a quarter pounder meal with fries. The big Mac had no flavor, even the sauce was bland. The fries were cold and no salt. I ended up throwing it away. The quarter pounder was ok per a friend. His fries were tasteless and like they have been sitting under warmer for hrs. Very disappointed with the quality of food. read more

We always come here for their breakfast pancakes combo.. Then at lunch today, we thought of trying 2 chix mc nuggets again and 2 large fries.. We asked for extra ranch and sweet & sour yet the cashier said they ran out of sweet & sour.. Really? Mc donald's as early as 1pm ran out of sauce? It was lunch time. They don't look busy. I ordered two items. It took both the clerk and his supervisor a few minutes to take my order and have it keyed in correctly. 20 minutes later, I opened my mcdonald's paper bag, I discovered a wrong sandwich. It was busy but what McDonalds isn't? The employees were also nice enough as well as the manager. However, I ordered the sausage egg and cheese mcgridel and the just gave me sausage. I asked if they could please fix the order and when I arrive to my seat they had only placed a piece of cold cheese on top of the sausage patty. At this point I got my refund back. Ordered buttermilk crispy chicken and I asked for no lettuce. The lettuce tasted like dish soap and it tells me that they got tired of washing them fully. 20 nuggets and soon as I bit into one of them, a piece of plastic and white rubber was inside. We go here for the Happy Meals however the cashier (4:40pm 9/04) didn't seem to be happy at all. I have never seen such poor customer service from a McDonalds employee. When I asked what the choices are for the happy meals, she replied pointing at the display with a seemingly irritated expression, "There". She had more of the same tone and expression throughout the ordering process. This seemingly young employee definitely needs some customer excellence retraining. I was here at this eating establishment and it wasn't up to par with other fast food places -IGN 0/100 If I could put zero stars I would. It's also very noisy. My friend got his feet dirty by the manager sweeping the floor. She intentionally swept it at his feet. It is McDonald's what do you expect? The owners seem to hire mostly hispanics (even the managers) so English is not their best suit and our orders are messed up. I bought a $20 gift card there for my son and they said it had NO balance, so I asked them to audit the card and they showed the activation date/time and then all money used off it same day several hours later so I said they cloned my gift card and they acted like they did not understand what I was saying. I came in for breakfast. They fill your order very fast. The kitchen is fully staffed. They are ready for all the customers coming in.

This McDonald's location doesn't have a drive-through, but it does have lots of parking, an outside dining area, fresh fries, a fairly clean bathroom and someone always sweeping the floor. read more

The worst McDonald's ever, it is supposed to be fast food, but I waited around for 25 minutes for a simple order, the place wasn't even busy, the order came out missing the hash brown and the coffee, when I asked for the missing items, the lady who was in charge said I didn't order the hash brown and my coffee was given to another customer, I had to show my receipt as proof. The wait was ridiculous. Why is there only one person on the register with over 10 people in line and each person waiting over 10 minutes. Had to wait 15 mins for a stupid order of fries when paying with a debit card. The fries came out right out of the fryer and into my dispenser cup, so that was exciting except that theytasted a little under and full of grease. Managers/supervisors don't seem to know what there doing. I see employees confused at the registers. Waiting for my meal for 15 minutes. A new employee that actually came upon, and said can I help you, and I answered with I'm waiting for my meal, he look and check, he apologized. I noticed that it was the employee who approached me, who the manager was closer but He seemed distracted and goofing around talking in Spanish (I know Spanish). I'll give credit to the new kid. Not only is this Mickey Dees in need of a makeover, the food was not up to par. I had a Mc double that taste a little foul and a Sweet Tea that was off as well. The fries were up to par but nothing else. I didnt finish my burger and after 4 sips from the tea I felt I may actually get sick if I drink it. When I came in for lunch, I noticed that there were a number of managers chatting it up at the counter with a lady who was in front of the counters laughing and being loud. I ordered food and the guy taking my order kept messing up and kept laughing about it. Then it took almost 10 minutes to get my order. I had to ask for my drink. I was driving home late after work and decided to stop by McDonalds to get something to eat. I never go to McDonalds but decided to go anyway. I noticed the manager that was taking my order coughing. It was very obvious he was sick. I decided since he was just taking my order it wasn't a big deal. He then took the next customers order and went to make his milk shake. While making the shake he coughed at least 2-3 times on the drink, not covering his mouth. He then proceeded to put fries in the deep frier coughing over just about everything he was touching. I couldn't handle what was happening. I asked for a refund. The manager didn't ask any questions as to why I wanted a refund. He simply refunded my money back to my card. NO drive thru....small parkling lot and 1 person restrooms and not a whole lot of seating. The 1 thing I like about this location is they still have self serve fountain sodas along with self serve sweet teas, when many other locations I've been to are behind the counter and limit to 1 free refill if that. read more

This one was refurbished in a modern, grey theme. New title dining room floor too. Has outdoor seating which is unusual. Problem is no drive-thru window b/c it's an older location. Still a Gr8 location @ a stoplight. And it's close to downtown San Mateo. read more

This McDonalds has a severe problem with the alarms that all of its cooking devices use. The employees do not seem to pay attention to them, so during my meal there was a period of about 30 minutes with multiple alarms beeping repeatedly without break. I would have forgiven this if they had been inundated with customers, but in fact there were at least a few stretches where they had no customers at the counter at all. Overall, sitting down to eat in this restaurant is very difficult. You should probably get your food to go. read more

We were very happy with all our food, they even gave me extra buffalo and Ranch sauce for my McNuggets. It was clean, service was fast and bathrooms were clean too. I limit our fast food to once a month and we almost always choose a McDonalds. We all love thier food. Wish they would have playplaces at every one though, they are great when you are traveling and need to have a place for the kiddos to run around a little before being back in the car seats. read more

I can't believe I'm about to review a McDonald's, but here it goes. First off the service is quite good. It's professional, well organized, everyone's well dressed, and the place is clean. But when I got my two Big Macs the paddies had been flattened. This was, well, new and interesting, though I think I would have preferred the regular sandwich than what I got.
