I've gone here multiple times, my wife has been here and was made to wait for ten minutes for a sausage mcmuffin in the drive through. I've gone here on my own and been in and out in a minute. The employees are friendly and polite at this location. Generally, the food is up to what seems like the company standard. My issue with them is the accuracy of the order. Multiple times they have not made the order as specified or omitted things entirely. Sometimes it is correct. It would be ever so lovely to get it right every time or at least miss far less often. Terrible. When there were egg shells in my breakfast sandwich I didn't bother writing a review. I hoped it was a bad day. But I tried again with a Big Mac and a quarter pounder, and just couldn't stay quiet. Quarter pounder had weirdly shaped onions that were way bigger than usual and the burger itself was greasy. Which is super odd for a McDonald's. The Big Mac had was also greasy and the sauce was just not mixed right and very thin. Don't know what's up with quality control, but there's also a history of stale buns. That's after you get past the people on the drive thru which are almost impossible to understand. They talk fast, mumble and just have overall poor attitudes. Something needs to change there. It's just not up to franchise standards at all. read more

I don't write reviews for chain restaurants but my experiences over the last year have been consistent and of such a high level of service that I must say something. A few key items stand out as making the Skyway Drive McDonalds the best I've ever experienced. 1. The staff is engaged with the customers and it's obvious that they have an encouraging culture which makes for a healthy work environment. When a business takes good care of its employees, the employees take good care of the customers. Two of their managers stand out as outstanding, Manny and Sarah. They are pleasant and happy and good at leading the team. This week a mistake was made on my take out order where I received the incorrect sandwich. They corrected the issue 3 days later and did it with a smile. The owners and managers have created something special that is rare to find. Keep it up! 2. Food quality seems higher at this McDonald's. I don't understand how it's possible but the others aren't the same. Maybe these meals are made by happy people. 3. The cleanliness level and decor make it an inviting lunch. read more

I am writing this on June 27th this is after the ayate has reopened on June 15th. The lobby is still closed. The drive through take forever so after being stuck we asked if my toddler and I could use the restroom (I am 9 months pregnant) they refused. I came to this McDonald's yesterday during my lunch hour & the drive thru was VERY busy. I sat in the line for 5 minutes & then ordered a Filet-o-Fish combo with extra tartar sauce, but when I took it back to the office, I realized it was CHICKEN! I don't eat meat during Lent, so I gave it to my co-worker & she gave me her tuna sandwich..I tried calling the store to let them know right away but could not get an answer. I called again today & spoke with Manny, who was the Manager on duty & he SINCERELY apologized & said he would make my order right! So I went back today for lunch & asked for Manny! He totally took care of me! He even went the EXTRA mile too! He gave me 2 Filet-O-Fish sandwiches for the inconvenience! I asked if I could buy a soda & I had the $ in my hand, but he said "no it's on us"! So AWESOME! THANK YOU AGAIN, MANNY! 5 stars is not enough!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more

Lousy response to a legitimate question!! Their drive-thru board claims a side order of bacon is "two FULL strips of bacon". After ordering 2 side orders of bacon, I received only 2 strips of bacon. When I said an order was missed, their response was they count 1/2 strips as a full strip. What? Then the shift manager had to pass me off to the head manager to explain that an order of bacon is 2 PIECES of bacon not two full strips. I told her that made no sense and not what their order board says. The head manager then sarcastically asked for the bag back so she could "fix" the problem and break the two full strips of bacon in half (to make 4 pieces). Yeah....I don't think so. Sounds like false advertising to me. The other McDonald's are very different and don't try to cheat the public. I won't go back to that location if they are so willing to let me drive away with such a lousy experience. Close to my house and built conviently to many businesses in area. The food is pretty fresh and the service is decent for a fast food place. The only complaint I have is the kids fool around too much while working and sometimes screw up the order. Oh, and the section they asked to pull into in the drivethrough is too small. As far as McDonald's franchises go, this is one of my favorites. It's giant Zebra Jeep, safari themed play land, and wall murals of cheetahs, lions and more, are a big hit with the kids. The ordering line is usually shorter than the one on Fesler & 135 (my kids favorite). The bathrooms are clean everytime I've gone. I always leave wishing I could take the florescent light covers that look like a cloudy blue sky. read more

Although I drove and picked up my order and even though it being just before closing time; I still got fresh fries! I came by around 12:20 on 3/26 to order some chicken tenders and fries for my little sisters. Once we got to the ordering box the guy taking our order had the worst customer service we've ever experienced at this McDonald's. He kept saying "mhm" and "uh well okay I guess" when we ordered. I asked the count for the new nuggets and he said "uh well you should know it's right there". I absolutely love coming to this McDonald's. The staff are always so friendly and happy. The actually look like they enjoy their jobs which is very rare. I bring my kids for the playland and it is always clean and so are the bathrooms. I know that fast food restaurants have a bad reputation for poor service. Go to this location if you enjoy having the cashier handing you your drink cup with their fingers inside the cup. This has happened before at this location and I was assured by a anager that the staff are trained to not do this but yet it happened again. I had to explain to the cashier why I asked her for a new cup because she handles money and is just dirty and gross to have someones hand in your drink cup. McDonalds is the best place to go when you're looking for a place to eat. The employees are always happy to serve you and help you with any problem you may have. Kids run around in the playground with lots of joy. They love their kid's meal that comes with a friendly toys. I am always well respect at McDonalds and can't ask for better attitude from the employees. McDonalds is so very affordable. They're food is just simple cheap in price. With five simple dollars you can get a twenty piece McNuggets! That is a steal for how great they taste. Any size drink is also just a dollar. So for only seven dollars you and a friend can get 10 McNuggets and a large drink each! They also have great options from the dollar menu or three dollar meal deals. I know a guy who has worked at McDonalds for 15 years now! He is very smart and attended 8 years of college. He has diplomas and master degrees in many things. He has been offered many jobs at big fancy restaurants and big companies. He refused all of them and is happily working at McDonalds. He also enjoys all of the food and says everything about McDonalds is excellent. read more
