First nugget I bit into had a very stale texture, the temperature of the food was off and mind you I live down the street from this location and went straight home to eat after drive thru order. Old stale nuggets is what I received. I called the restaurant and was told to come back to get a refund. I have had a few times when I get home and all my items are not there but that happens in a few different restaurants. This particular time I returned to get the two brownies I paid for on the last trip, but did not get. I placed my order which was sent in wrong but the employee at the payment kiosk called in to correct it from spicy to not spicy chicken. She even had to explain to whomever "the same sandwich, just not spicy". Well, by the time I got to the window, the matter was still getting sorted out. So I sat there for about 4 minutes watching a lot of horsing around. One girl fixing her braid and applying lip gloss, two girls dressing one of the young men with a salty vest to go out to drive thru, another girl completely combing her fingers through another girl's hair to put it up in a clip. YOUR IN A KITCHEN FOR GOD SAKES. Finally they sent me to park because they were still sorting out my sandwich issue. WHERE IS THE MANAGER. These girls need to be trained better. There were a total of 5 employees in that area and just one focused on the job. I will be taking a break from them for a long while until they can get it together. At Jack in the box only one person is at the window and they get it all done without sending me parking.

In the meantime, I took mental track of all of my favorite places for food, and this one made the top of my list. Literally, I drove all the way from Ventura for one of their sandwiches and planned the rest of my day based on that! I ordered Papa's Combo, and it was sandwich heaven! Now it's Huckleberry's (with locations in Pismo and Fresno?). If you use Miller as your access point, you are better off. Surprisingly, it was much less crowded, and finding a table was easy. Unfortunately, this location didn't live up to the level of cleanliness and hospitality I've come to expect from In-N-Out. The trash cans inside the dining room were overflowing, which really stood out to me. I've been to many In-N-Out locations throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County, and I've honestly never seen one this messy. The women's restroom was clean, but my brother-in-law said the men's restroom was in pretty rough shape. The food was good as always, but my cheeseburger was disappointing. The lettuce was so pale yellow it was almost white, and it looked far from fresh. I've never had an In-N-Out burger with lettuce like that before, so I ended up removing it. Maybe it was because we visited around 11:00 p.m., or maybe it's just this particular location, but the overall experience didn't meet the high standards I've always associated with In-N-Out. The food itself was still good, but the cleanliness, restroom conditions, and lack of attention to detail really missed the mark. Because of those issues, I'm giving this location 2 stars. I hope this was just an off night, because In-N-Out is usually known for much better hospitality and consistency.

A certain individual tried a similar concept and it lasted about a year. So here I am in CA giving this chain a shot. Food: Pictures are much better than the actual product. Fries were solid, imagine In and Out, but with plenty of seasoning and over salted. The chicken souvlaki was ok, but the pieces were a bit small and didn't taste like they were marinated. The greek salad side was the best part of the meal. I also ordered hummus, which had the taste and consistency of a store bought out of a container random brand. For $5 it was a waste and I left most of it behind. The look of the gyros on the spit did not leave my mouth watering: Grey slab not even fired up to serve. Service: Order is placed at the counter and then he brings it out. I guess enough to earn my 15% tip. Drinks are self serve Pepsi products with two containers of some lemonade type mixtures. Overall: Its price competitive with your local Chipotle, etc. Would I come back here again? Nope.

Ohh dang! This food is really tasty it taste like my dad's burgers that he made on the BBQ grill with his secret sauce he still makes, with the crispy onions and the yellow melted salty cheese. You could enjoy it even more at McDonalds because they have a play pen so you wont have to worry about the kids. Out of every burger joint and restaurant that makes burgers the best ones are from McDonalds. They've had the same tasty burgers and French fries from 1940. And they have a wonderful drive thru with excellent workers to take your order. The burgers from McDonalds have a wide variety of burgers and chicken. The burgers they have there are angus, beef, chicken ,and fish. what McDonalds is know for is there Big Mac it has 2 meats and a extra piece of bread between the burger and its loaded with crispy lettuce and juicy pickles and chopped onions with secret Sause that they call big mac sauce. And the best thing is that burgers are cheap there only about 5 dollars or less but the meals a cost more because they come with soggy and crispy fries and comes with a refracting soda like coca cola. If your cruising down Santa Maria at night and you remember the kids are sleeping and cook because you'll wake them up and where felling hungry and you have $10 dollars come down to McDonalds they have the best burgers in town. They have a superb friendly environment with a wonderful, playful play pen for kids. The bathrooms there are wonderful with sanitized toilets and sink. Mcdonalds has the most tasty burgers in town and the cheapest. So one day you don't want to cook for the kids take them to McDonalds for food and fun read more

Still, I was craving a hot dog for some odd reason, and so we drove a few extra minutes to get to Wienerschnitzel. We parked out back and headed for the front / only entrance to order. I felt like I was in a time warp from the 1960's with the architecture and styling of the place. The cashier who helped us was very friendly and added a positive note when I was feeling second thoughts about my restaurant choice. Dear Hubby stayed inside to pay and wait for our order. I went outside to the patio tables to hold a spot. It took a while for the food to be prepared. Once it was time to dig in, I was grateful that they offer the option of an all-beef dog. Their Chicago-style toppings work for me - pickle relish, onions, fresh tomatoes, and mustard. I'd prefer brown mustard to yellow, but that's the only thing I'd change. Well, a bigger hot dog would be nice. Take a Costco-sized dog, and add those condiments and I'd really be a happy camper. I was still hungry after finishing the one dog I'd ordered. I mistakenly tried the watermelon lemonade. That wasn't great; the watermelon flavor tasted like lab-created chemicals, which it probably was. I'd not order that again. If you want a retro experience, give this Wienerschnitzel a visit.

She was called from her regular store in the local mall, which I was told has never had this problem.) When it came time to order, they were out of certain items. Not a really big deal because it's a sandwich and I'm flexible, but it does say something that they either did not have the supplies (management's fault) or the line worker didn't have time to grab extra supplies because she was so busy (again, management's fault). My meal was just fine. As a guy who used to work in fast food I know how hard it is, even with a full staff. But to go at it alone? I would've closed the store and told everyone to leave. I hope Anahi never takes another offer to come help this store out and is rewarded for enduring through this treatment. (NOTE: The one star DOES NOT reflect the customer service I received from Anahi; she rocked. The bad rating is for the store, in general; specifically, the management.)
