Go Teal. The only McDs in the world with teal arches. While in Sedona do as the Sedonas do. Actually, I doubt they go. The tourists sure come. Located in the Safeway shopping center where Sedonuts is. Typical McDs. Just small. I feel the need to warn you. The rocks around the blue sign are not friendly. I slipped and fell and ended up with a huge hemotoma on my shin. Thats what I get for face timing my bf.
When visiting new places, I'm eager to experience new dining destinations; McDonald's would not be on my list. However... I wanted to see this location, the only one in the WORLD with TURQUOISE (vs. the traditional golden) arches (due to city ordinances ensuring that structures don't intrude with the natural scenery). Initially, my plan was simply to take a photo of the exterior; however, after doughnuts, some McDonald's fries sounded real good. The facility was very clean. I so wish I'd noted the name of the person who assisted us (my thoughts are he is a manager), who greeted and treated everyone in line cheerfully, positively, and respectfully -- even referring to me by name! And... our order (ahh, fresh-off-the-frier fries and cold iced teas) was delivered to our outdoor table, where we were later checked on. Wow, what fantastic service at this fast-food restaurant!
Going Teal !! We were told you have to see the McDonald's with a teal M. This place was crowded it was a mix of ordering food to go and waiting go get a photo with the teal arches. Now for it being extremely busy they handled it with easy. There were Kind and courtesy. Helped deliver the food to people with numbers waiting's There was some chaos at the order counter and the lines to know who's ordering or not was somewhat confusing. They did their best to calm the confusion. We had a great time people watching , which is a pastime for us lol. In all this was a nice place to come if you want to see the Teal arches
*****Five Stars because just the little things brings me joy & I did receive great service despite how busy they get. ***** Un-TEAL next time at Sedona McDonald's, we enjoyed our visit to check out the teal turquoise arches. After coming across a few Instagram reel, I had to bookmark this McD's to experience it for myself in real life. It felt like Deja vu, and I was so excited to visit. Why is this the only McDonald's with the Teal colored arches and not golden, The reason for this deviation is Sedona's strict architectural guidelines which aim to preserve the natural beauty of the area. City officials required the restaurant to change its arches from yellow to avoid clashing with the scenic red rocks. I am LOVING it, the teal arches. After looking around, checking it out, taking our tons of photos, and came across a bunch of visitors too, we went in to McD's, for bathroom break and ordered some breakfast , we don't want to just come to see the arches, wanted to experience the fast food at Mcd too. hehe. This Mcdonald's location seems smaller to me but it does its job. Check it out, it is the only McDonald's in the world with teal arches. I didn't come ready/prepared with having teal for my photo opt, this means my hubby will have to take me back again, next time. Hehe,
I FINALLY made it back after 2 years!! You already know why I came, lol, but if you don't, duhhh... it's because this McDonald's in Sedona is the only one in the world with TEAL arches!! Anything teal/turquoise/blue is my jam!! It so happens that I was gifted a custom pair of Vans for Christmas. It goes perfectly with one of my Lulu half zip pullovers. Soooo, I have been on a mission to come here just to get pics with these famous arches! People from all over come here just to snap pics. I did also order a Happy Meal for the heck if it. They forgot my apple slices, but they always taste like poison to me anyway. The Minion toy was cute! You can order at the counter or from a kiosk. Your order comes out in minutes. I'm not sure when I'll be back, but anytime you're in Sedona, you gotta at least do a drive by! If you want to be naughty, hit up Sedonuts just a few steps away. You're welcome!! My Sedona McD trip is now finally off my bucket list! =)
We stopped eating at restaurants at some point during our trip because it was costing so much and we decided to save the money for experiences and just get food from grocery stores and fast food. This is the only McDonalds on the planet with blue arches so the decor would complement the landscape better and because of this the kids immediately noticed it and wanted to eat here. There is a small placard inside with a QR code where you can buy souvenirs specific to this McDonalds but we didn't see anything being sold inside. It's very small inside and ordering is done on two kiosks. Even at 4 pm it was overly crowded inside and it took very long to get our to go order. We should have checked the Happy Meals more carefully before leaving but we asked for plain cheeseburgers and got onions and pickles, there were no apples, and only 1 of the boxes had a toy in it.
Super fun McDonald's to go to because of the turquoise sign. It feels like it's a must of Sedona. That being said, with that many visitors this place needs a good scrub top to bottom. All the tables and floors are so sticky. We ordered happy meals for the kids and they seemed to enjoy them.

On my last morning during this quick getaway, I made a point to visit Sedona's McDonald's for the mere fact that it was the only one in the world without its iconic traditional golden arches; rather, the famed "arcs" (if you knew you knew!) were in a more soothing turquoise blue hue because the city had strict guidelines that required new buildings to blend with the surrounding natural landscape, specifically the red rocks. I honestly thought it had something to do with the native land bearers and their penchant for the color and jewelry. PURCHASE McDonald's: #6 Filet O' Fish Meal w/Medium Fries + Upgraded Lemonade Medium ($11.99 + $1.30): It was my no-meat Friday, and I generally was a fan of their fish sandwich, so this was the only real option I had. The sandwich was considerably smaller than I remembered, it had a slight mushiness about it, the cheese slice wasn't melted at all, lacked flavor except for the tiny amounts of tartar sauce, but at least the bun was nice and fluffy but not toasted. The skinny spud sticks were plentiful, crispy, hot, and had a nice amount of salt on them while no catsup was needed. The lemonade was fine, but when did it become a premium!? Lastly, this was a pricey meal! The portion and price of my meal literally left me wanting more as I was hungry again hours later, and I was very disappointed in the quality of the sandwich. I found decent value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $15.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... This place is so cool just because it has a blue McDonald's sign I mean you can't get any better than that!! My best friend and I drove two hours out just to go to a hike in Sedona and as we was leaving we seen this place and I was like I have to get a picture!! So we went through the drive-through just to get 2 large fry's and two Ice-T's, but we weren't even hungry we was on our way to wine tasting & dinner , but just wanted the picture with the blue sign! but customer service was great & dude our fries were actually hot and good, our sweet tea was perfect! & We didn't even care for the food and it actually was nice to have some hot fries after a long three hour hike lol So every time we drive to Sedona for adventures we always make sure to stop here! read more
Guys, this isn't just any ol' McDonald's. This is the *only* McDonald's in the world where the golden arches aren't golden! When McDonald's was planning to open up in Sedona, they were confronted by the strict regulations of the area concerning the local scenery. The city did not want to ruin its beautiful desert views with the ugly dehydrated-pee-yellow sign. To get around this, the company came up with the idea of changing the color of the logo and there you have it: The teal "M." Aaaaaaaannnddd that's really the only thing special about this McDonald's. Inside is a pretty small space with a few tables, two private bathrooms, and all your typical McDonald's offerings. This McDonald's has obviously become somewhat of a tourist attraction to visitors of the beautiful city of Sedona due to the teal arches. Is it worth your time? Ordinarily one wouldn't travel to go to a McDonald's of all places. This is the exception. Not only do they have the sick af turquoise arches, but the food is actually superior to any other McDonald's I have ever eaten at. I can't quite explain why. Maybe it's higher quality food, maybe they hire people that actually care about what they make, I dunno. All I know is it's better, inside and out. Just try it. read more

The food was just standard. The price was INSANE for 4 Big Mac meals ($70.66!), and honestly, it wasn't even very good service. This isn't even McDonald's, it's McROBBERY! read more
Since this McDonalds has only been here in Sedona for 20 years with the only Teal Blue Arches in the world, it's a must see place for all who live in Arizona and visitors alike! I lived in Arizona, this time around for 10 years now, and decided it was about time to stop at this tourist attraction and give it recognition. We took our 6 year old grandson too, so he can share in the history of this event! Needless to say, it was great to stand outside and take pictures! But once inside, it was just too expensive for a McDonald's, I think they jacked up the prices due to the popularity of the teal arches. Stopped to dine in and visit this iconic McDonald's with several family members including kids and the team members were fast and had great service. I just wish the restroom was bigger with more stalls and not gender neutral. read more

Yes, it's a McDonald's and the food tastes like any other McD. But there's nowhere else in the world where you can see a Turquoise arch logo! A neat picture to have when you visit Sedona! The drive thru line was mighty long when we visited, perhaps because it was Covid times. Indoor dining was not available and was much smaller than any McDs I've been to. There were about 6-7 other customers waiting for their order. I got a deal on my McD app for buy a Double Cheeseburger you get 6 pc of nuggets for free. My total was $4.38 and we had a great *snack* ! I've seen other websites when they mention this McD that their drinks/containers also has the Turquoise arch, but I did not see that here. Perhaps it got a bit expensive with the franchise after awhile? read more

We drove past the McDonald's during our visit weekend trip to Sedona and noted thee iconic Golden Arches were painted a teal color. As a lover of McChickens and McNuggets, I had to visit before we left Sedona. We went around 10 am and the drive through line was about 10/12 cars long so we decided to go inside to order. The inside is fairly small with enough seating for 20-25 people. I was hoping to see more of the teal color indoors, but was disappointed that the inside was the same as other "older" McD locations. There were about 10 people inside in line as well, so it must be a busy location. We ordered basic hash browns, Egg McMuffin and lattes. They tasted similar to other locations and similar quality. Although the lattes we did order were not as hot and barely considered warm in my opinion. Our food order was accurate, but took about 15 minutes to get our food. As mentioned above the lattes could have been warmer. No indoor or outdoor seating. Nothing special about service and the only teal things yourll see are the sign outside and some of the outdoor seating umbrellas. read more
This McDonald's is a typical McDonald's location. It's what you would expect based on any other McDonald's you've visited. I walked in and ordered a Coke (because McDonald's Coke is the best ever!), and the interior and service were the same as any other location. The thing that sets this spot apart is the turquoise arches. When I saw them I was blown away! I know, it's just McDonald's, but it's really cool because these are the only ones like this in the world. At first I wasn't sure of the reasoning, so I looked it up. Apparently, because Sedona is famous for its red rock, there are rules in place for buildings there to make sure that no structure "intrudes too much on the surrounding natural scenery." Well, the yellow arches would have done just that, so they opted for turquoise instead. Regardless of the reasoning, it's really cool to see as a tourist. At least it was to me! read more

Sedona is so cool, even their McDonalds is a tourist attraction. Being the only Mickey D's in the world with teal arches, she's cute. It fits in with the aesthetic the city has going on. Other than that, it's literally a normal McDonalds- I appreciated the cheap prices in comparison to the other restaurants in Sedona (why buy a $6 ice cream cone elsewhere when you can get a vanilla soft serve for $1)? Pretty good service too, the cashier was nice and they didn't get any part of our order incorrect :) read more

This is a well run McDonald's with courteous staff. It is smaller than average with less indoor and outdoor seating. Of course, I can't finish this review without stating it is the only McD's with a green M logo because of City of Sedona aesthetic requirements. read more

It was pretty busy when we came in this morning before our hike and were greeted with a smile. Great service and our good was our very quick. The inside was faulty clean, but the bathroom could've used some attention. I will say I was a bit put off by the fly trap hanging from the ceiling. Definitely not what I like to see while trying to eat. read more
Saw this cool McDonald's while driving to Devil's Bridge on a day trip to Sedona and knew I had to stop in for late lunch/early dinner. There's a unique draw to this location in that it is the only McDonald's with arches that are not gold. I asked the staff the reason behind the turquoise logo and they advised it was due to Sedona's city code that regulates the colors of signs for city businesses must blend in with the environment. I found it very interesting that a company like McDonald's would bend for such a local stipulation given its otherwise uniformity across the world. Now on to the food. I can say with total certainty that the quality of my quarter pounder with cheese was far and away better than other McDonald's locations. I know that probably sounds funny but it's the truth! Something is definitely fresher about the food here. Whether you're in need of a unique tourist landmark or a good bite to eat that's fast and inexpensive, this is your stop. read more
Are these rumors just mere myths or not?! I think NOT!!! Sedona has the only McDonald's with TEAL arches in the whole entire world- how nifty is that? In such a complex world these days, sometimes the smallest things give you that goofy kiddo Kool-aid smile :) Cool beans to the ultimate funk! I was half-expecting teal logos for the interior decor or maybe a single teal french fry somewhere in my supersized fries (I know it's not the Willy Wonka factory but the kiddo in me can wish right?) but alas, it is a normal McDonald's on the inside. Despite that, I still enjoyed inhaling my vanilla cone- it was a sweet treat to beat the triple digit heat! Service was fast & courteous despite the crowds. This is a good location for a family pit stop & photo op as you make your journey to the Grand-tastic Canyon! read more
So, when you're in Sedona, you have access to the world's only McDonald's with turquoise arches. You have to go, right? So, I did. The food was pretty much what you would expect at any other McDonald's, but the service was a pretty different experience. The restrooms were pretty unkempt and seemed to he ignored, despite the current COVID-19 crisis (my visit was before dining rooms were closed), the store was poorly stocked for regular items like lids and straws, and the employees generally seemed miserable. So, I'm not sure if it is because the employees are just kind of run down amidst everything that is going on or if the management isn't great. But, even if you don't go inside, seeing turquoise arches is still pretty cool. read more
