I don't know how many times I went there for happy meal and they didn't give me apple slice. It almost makes me wonder if they just "forget" it on purpose? So, I always double check now. It happened again this morning. I told the female staff that I miss the apple slice for my order and the staff told me I requested more fries (although it clearly printed on my receipt that I asked for apple slice). She went in and threw two bags of apple slice in to my box as if she was doing me a favor?!?! I also requested the sauce as they didn't provide it. We stopped here for a quick breakfast. You order from a screen, which I've never seen before, and they deliver it to your table. We all used the restrooms here and they were clean. We are all vaccinated, so we didn't walk in with a mask, but the manager asked (very politely) for us to put a mask on. Apparently that's the new rule in LA. read more

The rudest employees at this location. Impatient, nagging, belittling. Taking all their rage and personal issues out on me and all I wanted to do was get a happy meal for my kid and a shake for me. Came inside to potty break while on the road. Shocked at how spacious and pretty this one is! A separate indoor playroom for kids! With 3 touch screen consoles to play games as well. And one table light up with lights that change when you touch them. The restroom was huge as well with about 5 stalls so that was nice! The table decor is pretty too! There's high top tables And chairs, booths, and smaller table with cushioned seatings! McDonald's stepping up theirs interior design game! Staff was friendly as well! Okay.... so, it's a fast food place. When you order at a fast food place there will always be discrepancies. Pros: Kind staff (from my experience). The lady with the black hair was very kind to me when I got my morning coffee. Cons: Inconsistencies in food quality (you pay people minimum wage, you get minimum wage service... its that simple.. workers need more incentive to do good... Mcdonald's is a huge company...) Wait times. It really depends when you go, sometimes no line, sometimes... very long line. But when its a long line, sometimes it moves very slow. Could be workers fault, could be other customers fault... I can't know. Overall, It's not that different than any other Mcdonald's and it's silly to expect 5 star service. I worked fast food as a teenager so I know how it is... just wanna do your job and go home.. don't really want to give excellent service for minimum wage (when there are easier minimum wage jobs!) Food service workers go through so much abuse. And are paid the same as teenagers working in clothing retail, like hollister, or anywhere... Do they even get tips? As customers, if we want excellent service from Mcdonald's... We must give workers incentive to provide great service. They are handling our food- and we should show some respect! This happened Nov 21. Drive through was taking a long time. We ordered a #7 with a bottle of water, 2 hamburgers and another bottle of water. Got to checkout and learned the ORDER CLERK got it wrong. Wrote down 2 cheeseburgers, not hamburgers. Rather than insist on the cashier correcting my tab, which would have meant delaying the line even more than it already was while getting less than a dollar in return, I told him I'd pay the full amount and the CASHIER he said he would tell the clerks upfront to correct the order. Got to the second window, the WINDOW CLERK gave me my 2 bottles of water. Then she told me to drive forward and wait for my order. Nothing unusual about that. About 5-10 minutes later, GOFER 1 arrived with a bag containing 4 cheeseburgers and 1 fries. Told her I had ordered 2 hamburgers. She said she would take care of it. Another 8-10 minutes pass and GOFER 2 arrived with a bag containing 4 cheeseburgers and 1 fries. Explained the mix-up to her, too. After she clarified that I ordered two cheeseburgers and 2 fries, NOT 4 cheeseburgers, she said she would take care of the problem. Another 5-10 minutes pass and GOFER 3 arrived with a bag containing 4 cheeseburgers and 1 fries. She told me that she had been EXPRESSLY TOLD THAT I WANTED 4 CHEESEBURGERS. Thank you, GOFER 2--you got me. I finally realized these girls were not going to get the job done. So, I parked the car. Went in and spoke to the MANAGER. I explained the situation to her. Oddly enough, she already had a bag with 2 cheeseburgers, 1 fries and 2 hamburgers all ready to hand to me. She apologized and offered to comp me a second bag of fries. I really hate McD's fries, so I said no thanks, just want what I ordered--A #7 and 2 hamburgers. So, the MANAGER takes the bag to the fries counter, removes a container of fries from my bag, returns to me and hands me with the bag saying, "Here's your order." She didn't react well when I insisted on opening the bag to check her work. Yup -- It contained 2 cheeseburgers and 2 hamburgers. SHE HAD REMOVED THE FRIES I HAD ORDERED. I asked her where was the complete #7. She huffed her way back to the fries station where she picked up the container of fries she had just removed from my bag and put it back in my bag. She brought it back to me. I then checked everything in the bag one more time. Finally, after almost 45 minutes (does NOT include the time waiting to have my order taken) dealing with the ORDER CLERK, the CASHIER, the WINDOW CLERK, three GOFERS, and the MANAGER, I got my order. As I am on my way out of the restaurant, the manager yells at me THREE TIMES in a false happy voice, "Have a Nice Night! Have a Nice Night! Have a Nice Night!" LAST TIME I GO THERE. Thankfully, there are alternative McD's within minutes of this one--just off the 5 freeway. North: There is a McD just west of the Magic Mountain Parkway offramps 2 offramps north of this horror. Address: 27618 The Old Road, Valencia, CA 91355. South. There is another McD just east of the Roxford St offramps on the 5 a 2-3 offramps south of this horror. Address: 12860 Encinitas Ave, Sylmar, CA Those two McD's may be owned by the same franchiser. But they don't share the same manager. Ha, while I hate my reviews saying different ratings, I wanted to update my rating for this location. Since the last very annoying incident about 8 months ago I have not had any issues here. While not a healthy habit, I tend to come a lot in the very early morning for a hash brown at the minimum (I'd say once a week minimum). While I totally get that things will not be perfect at 4-5am, the visit from my last review was a very frustrating incident. Not once since then though have I dealt with any of the headaches. There has been someone that talks to me through the speaker pretty quickly, my order has been correct, friendly employees on duty, my food has been satisfying, & I have not had to pull up past the window to wait for my order like I've had to do multiple times (I have no problem doing it, but I feel like a sitting duck doing so just waiting to get robbed when it's 4-5am). All has been wonderful here for almost the last year, so I thought I should update my review & give the staff here the respect that's due! read more

This place SUCKS!!!! They want to go fully digital, but it seems like they just want to get rid of the customer service aspect of the food industry. There was nobody at the front counter where there were 2 registers there collecting dust. So after standing there for about five minutes, an employee finally walked up to us and asked us if we needed help. So we started placing our order with her just to be cut off and told that we need to use the digital kiosk behind us. We were having a hard time finding the food bundle that we wanted to order and after about another five minutes we got another employee to help us. She was the most helpful employee there and made sure that we got what we wanted. Then we waited a few minutes for our food to get done, and when they called our number I went to pick it up. But there were a few orders on the counter and no employees to help out and verify which order was mine.so as my food was getting cold, I tried to get someone to help me out again. A couple of female employees made eye contact with me but didn't approach. Finally one come to help and verify which one was mine and placed 3 dipping sauces in the bag and immediately walked away afterwards. When I looked in to double check the sauces, they were the wrong one. So I tried to get someone to help fix this issue, and since I was getting frustrated by the lack of customer service, I walked a little bit behind the counter. Which by the way was the quickest way for me to get someone to help me, after I was asked to go on the other side of the counter, they fixed the problem. I don't know if I'm just old school or what, but the was I see it is that the employees here get paid $20 an hour to be lazier than when they got paid the same minimum wage as anyone else in the state of California. Bring back the customer service and maybe your reviews would get better. Lower their pay and I bet they'll start to work better. I still can't believe that they get paid $20/h and suck worst at their job, what a joke. My girlfriend went to ask them for a servey website but was handed a blank piece of paper by en employee that didn't speak English. All she was able to understand was survey.
