The customer service here is absolutely HORRIBLE! Walked in durning lunch time, 12:10pm, and 2 employees in the lobby telling you to use the self service kiosk. NOBODY working at the register to take your order... 100% self service now. But try paying with cash, you still have to go to the register and wait for one of the employees to leave the kiosk area to ring you up and take your cash... this couldn't have been done in the first place? Went to this location at 3am and was told they were closed. The sign clearly says 24 hour drive through. So why are you not open at 3am such a waste of time driving to this location because we knew it was only McDonald's closest that was open. Lady was super rude. sooooo!!!!! I make a stop to McDonalds because I want me some iced coffee to accompany me on my drive. I quickly pull into the drive-thru and order exactly one large iced coffee with only THREE pumps of hazelnut vs. the standard five. McDonalds worker: so you want extra pumps? Me: NO, I want LESSSSSS pumps... ONLY THREE. McDonalds worker: ok, only three. I continue to pull up to the pickup window with the worker in plain sight. She squeezes in the first pump of hazelnut, and then I proceed to watch as she pumps in four more. End of rant. read more

I go to this location frequently and always have good experiences. Tonight's service in particular was spectacular. The employees went above and beyond to help fix a confusing payment issue with the app. They were also able to help another customer who came up to the window while this was happening. They are certainly being underpaid for the amount of work they are putting in. I very much appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness I am greeted with upon each visit. read more

Customer service lacks hard core at this Micky D's. True it has a drive thru which had a line stretched all the way into the gas station which also resides within this same center. It was ridiculously apparent that the attention and energy is directed towards the drive-thru customers and not shared with those customers ordering inside. The female manager on shift was truly the rudest of the employees on shift on this day and stood there looking at the line of customers standing in line either ordering, waiting to order or waiting for their order numbers to be called out and allowed just the 1 open register never opening a second. She wasn't wearing a name tag as I intentionally looked but suffice to say it would be in the best interest of the employees for which she manages as well as us paying consumers if headquarters sent her back to management training 101. Food was fresh and received quickly considering the long lines and the bathroom was clean and stocked. Wow, this place almost made me cause a big scene. Ok, I guess I did cause a scene... but it almost got a whole lot worse, when the young male manager simply turned and walked away from me... I assumed he was coming back, but no, he was just hiding. The sign on the register said you'd get a certain number of Monopoly game pieces with your meal. When I politely pointed out that I didn't get the promised number of game pieces, I was told "we didn't get the right cups in yet." So I politely asked for some game pieces from another product. "We're not going to do that." was the manager's reply. I replied "Well you'd better take down these signs then, because that's what you're promising. I'll be happy to take some game pieces from a fry box." "We're not going to do that" was the manager's reply again. "OK, then I want my money back" was my slightly louder reply. That was when the manager just turned and walked away, leaving me standing at the counter with the clerk. We just looked at each other and waited for the manager to return. Finally the counter clerk just said "why don't I give you another cup that has the game pieces on it." "Yes" I replied, "that's what I asked for originally." Problem solved. Yes, I was almost that guy on the evening news, who gets arrested because he calls 911 because his McDonalds order was wrong... I can now understand how that can happen. I've been coming to this place for years. Frequenting concerts in SF and driving home drenched in sweat with a little growl in my stomach telling me I've been hitting the mosh pits too hard... Be silent, my little monster. I always see this McDonalds as a heavenly calling telling me to replenish my drained batteries. Lit up bright, their drive-through window is always open late and the service is surprisingly peppy. I get ready to stuff my face with McChickens and chicken nuggets because all I want is a crunch! I literally had a roach crawl out of my big mac box when i opened it. When I called McDonald's to tell them they said: do you want us to make you another one? I seriously cannot believe that that was their response and they didn't even apologize or deny it. Furthermore, how do you make a burger and not see a roach in it. This is good stopping point on the way out of the Bay Area. Generally, the drive-through is quick. Although sometimes you may find a line. The food is what you typically expect from an average McDonald's. I've been inside a few times, mainly to use the restroom. That has usually been in okay condition. Very disappointed in your customer service. Our order got messed up, but I DON'T have a problem with that. I DO have a problem that your manager didn't want to fix it, or recognize that the order got hosed up at the intake. She continually tried to TELL us what we ordered. When she asked us to produce a receipt, we discovered that we DIDN'T get one. All we wanted was the small fry that was supposed to come with our Filet Fish meal - that we tried to order. Your manager's fix to the problem, was to TELL us what we ordered, and then try to sell us a large fry for 3.57! I have been visiting this McDonald's 3 or 4 times a month this year since I now frequent Crocket Hills Regional Park. I often bring friends. This time I was with my wife (it was her order that got hosed). I figure on avg I order 12-15 dollars. That's about 60 dollars a month you won't be getting now - all over a small fry (and an unfriendly manager). I truly wasn't trying to drive around, and sit in line again just to snag a free fry, but your manager should have offered us one - I used to when I worked fast food (for 4.5 years). This location needs to have a district manager to shop the location for service quality. Either they are understaffed or they are not effectively utilizing the resources that they have allotted to services the customers in that location. It took 15 minutes for me to get my order and the only reason why it took 15 minutes was, I stopped the shift manager and asked, "where is my order?" I ordered a Sausage Egg and Cheese biscuit but instead they gave me a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I realized once I got home and I tried calling but could not get through on the line. It kept ringing and ringing then giving a busy signal. I called about 10 times with the same result. My house is 20 minutes away, I don't feel that I should have to drive another twenty minutes because they won't answer their phone. I mean what's the point of having a phone if customers can't get ahold of management when needed. The worst part is that my receipt shows the correct order but my food isn't correct. How hard is it to put the right sandwich in a bag and hand it to the customer with a smile? Not hard at all coming from an ex waitress. This restaurant open 24 hrs daily has excellent food (as fast food goes) no matter what time of the day or night I've visited. Coffee always taste fresh, French Fries are always golden brown, not burnt, oversalted or mixed in with old French Fries. I pass my nearest McDonald's which is horrible, even with 3-4 managers on the floor to go here most times. I've found the staff to be professional, and that counts as much if not more than the quality of the food, that can be fixed, but poor professionalism can't. read more

They always mess up my orders. All the time. It might be something small like giving me sausage mc griddle with cheese and without the egg when I said no cheese plus egg. Or sometimes more obvious screw ups like a missing meal altogether whether that's a sandwich or fries or something. I don't come here often and when I do I'm usually in a rush to get back to Berkeley and I've made the mistake of not checking my meal a couple of times. And even when I check its messed up. Moral of the story, check your meal because whoever is taking your order either misheard you, put it on the receipt wrong even after it was correct on the screen, or forgets to put the right things in the right bag. read more

Never thought I would be rating a McDonald's, but then when I think about it, these are EXACTLY the places I need to be reviewing. I stop here for a coffee or a breakfast when I didn't get to make something on my work and I'm on my way to a meeting in Napa. This is the McDonald's I've been to before and I've been meaning to write about it since then. Also, if both my phones weren't dead I would take pictures. First visit: Older Latina lady with short hair helped me. What service! Professional, courteous, smiling, uber helpful with any question I had. Got my order right with the biscuit, egg, and cheese no bacon. She seemed like the manager. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I watched her give fantastic service to every patron. Also, they had a busy drive thru and it just seemed she had everything under control. No employee looked angry so she didn't seem like a jerk boss. She was fantastic. I was able to use their wifi which was excellent and get some work done. The latte I had was delicious and I was so happy I didn't walk across the parking lot to Starbucks. Lastly, THE BATHROOMS were impeccable. Honestly, for a Mc Donald's I have never seen bathrooms more clean or even in most restaurants in Palm Springs, SF and LA! I think I remember the place being decorated for a holiday. Not sure which, but it was fun and festive looking. Like they had gone all out. Second time I've been here today: I came back because I thought maybe it was just luck. No. The place is very clean. The diverse (White, Latina, Black) staff of women are all happy and hard working and professional. They all smiled when families (perhaps on the way to Six Flags?) were here to order big. A young Black woman smiled when I ordered my usual #4 sans bacon. They got my order right. They got my order done fast. Latte delicious again. They (young Black woman) was helpful with the wifi when I asked. The whole restaurant looks clean. Clean enough for me to place my laptop on basically any table and put my bag on the floor or any chair. As I type, there is one using the cleaning storage space and it is clean! I'm just saying because you can never know what is behind the doors or counters, but no it is clean. I'm honestly just very impressed by this place. Lastly, there is a cool community wall that I don't remember seeing anywhere else. Even if it is just good PR, it looks legit. The people who are some of the customers look like hard working people, old retired folks, and others well, just look homeless. In any case, this Mc Donalds is doing a fantastic job. I come by on my way to work maybe once every couple months to get breakfast since it's right off the freeway and the drive thru is open 24 hrs. I went this morning at 5:05 am and the guy on the speaker tells me "We'll be open in 10 minutes." What the hell? It's a 24 HOUR DRIVE-THRU!! The signs for "24 hr" are lit up! But they have their open sign on and began to be rude to me over the telecom. Placed order, paid at the first window all the person said was the total I paid she gave the change with no word then slammed the window. I got my change for the mix-up but no fries I was too upset to return in fear of him being rude again. WORST McDonald I've ever been to. We made THE MOST simplest order ever on earth through mobile app. And the order from the mobile app was even confirmed THROUGH that McDonald place itself but when we drove up to the window after ordering drinks from the drive thru and not the mobile app because there were others in the car who couldn't access the app. The lady told us to go around and DRIVE BACK to the drive thru for the mobile app order because we were "taking up space for the 3 customers behind us and their order". By this point you can already tell she was being rude and even rolling her eyes non stop. We kindly drove back around to the window to get the mobile orders. And she said the mobile order was not in the system so she wasn't going to serve or even give a refund. We made sure it was the CORRECT address and we even have the ORDER # CONFIRMED. Instead of fixing the issue and trying to solve things, she apologized in the rudest way and shut the window on us multiple times with the rolling eyes. By this point, the order didn't even matter because of how we were being treated, we had asked for her first name and first initial. Turns out she was the manager and she ignored us completely, even involving the cops and reporting a robbery when NO ROBBERY was made but mistakes done by the manager herself of not treating customers with respect. read more
