Last night I had ordered a McDouble and they only gave me 1 patty and today I came I had Preordered Online on the app & I had to wait 10- 15 minutes for my order. Mind you I had ordered 15 minutes before going to the drive through. When I finally got the food the worker didnt even asked if I had wanted some sauces, like I want ketchup for my fries. Unbelievably slow location. We all know what to expect with the food, but I was amazed how slow the service was. Not only that, but after a very long wait, I received an incorrect item. When this location opened not that long ago, I was so impressed by the quality and attention to service and sadly, it already seems to be going downhill sharply. The staff here seems completely disconnected from customers and from the idea of good service. No matter how you place your order, you should expect mistakes and long wait times. On multiple occasions, I've only received my food after becoming visibly frustrated and insisting they check on my order -- which should never be necessary. One of the best McDonald's locations we have ever been to! They were extremely friendly and hard-working here. Our order was ready in minutes and made correctly, even with all the customizations. I only place this 5 star review due to the young gentlemen, Christopher, who seems to always be here and provide nothing short of exceptional service. He's always so kind, professional and well mannered. He always is smiling and very courteous and ensures that we are always left satisfied. He's definitely the best part of this place. Every restaurant needs a Christopher. The food is has always been good here but there has been times when it's been slow and items have been forgotten however they've always made things right. This is the newest McDonald's in the area. It's super convenient on the way to or back from the casino. The fact that it's brand new and everyone is new, you'd never know. They work quickly and have such great customer service. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and welcoming. I love my sausage McMuffin and McDonald's coffee on my early morning drives. This location definitely didn't disappoint. My coffee was strong and delicious. The McMuffin was perfect for me! So glad about this addition to my monthly drive. read more

Very clean dining area and restrooms. The food took quite a bit of time to come out and their drive thru line was moving slowly. It was apparent there were some errors in the kitchen since customers were talking about missing or incorrect items. They have the coolest interactive tables ever. Lots of fun and really add to the environment. Staff rounds frequently with customers to ask if they need refills or sauces or napkins. It's fantastic. Food was fresh and drinks were perfect. This is the slowest McDonalds probably on the planet. I've ordered 15-20 minutes ahead on the app and it will literally take an additional 20-30 min once I arrive. The drive through will be absolutely full and somehow they all get served before my mobile order. I avoid this location as much as possible. read more

Food is exactly what you expect at every other McDonald's. Their one of a kind fries, crispy chicken sandwich, and Mcflurries! Our 3 kids LOVE their happy meals so we had to make a pit stop here on our way home from the casino. This looks like it's new and recently opened. The inside of the restaurant is extremely clean. They don't even have their beverages set up yet, that's how new it is. Towards the end of our meal, the entire crew of about 7+ came towards our table and said, did someone say it's someone's birthday?! They all sang to me and EVEN brought out a whole 1/4 sheet cake! The cake was so big we shared it with the rest of the patrons inside. It was like I had my own little Mickey D's bday party! I went in there to order my wife, a grinch meal and Mc rib sandwich they told me they were out of the McRib sandwich so I ordered a quarter pounder and I ordered the Grinch meal I get it out to the truck. There's no socks and the Grinch meal box... so my wife went back in there and the manager said as of right now we don't have any more socks, but they charged us four dollars extra for the Grinch meal. They charge me that for a box I could've got a big Mac combo for 10+ bucks something but this cost me 15+ and they flat out refused to give me my money back. So I got a box for $15. Thanks McDonald's kiss my ass. This is why you're not making any money anymore. Your revenue went down 50%. It will go down more. read more

This is a fairly new McD's. The architecture is very modern and attractive. The parking lot in the back is huge. Northbound traffic on Valley Center Road must drive past this location and make a U-turn to access the driveway. Departing traffic must turn right then make another U-turn to resume travelling northbound on VC Road. My order was the Big Mac Meal ($10.59) which included the burger, fries and a medium soft drink. This location is lacking a self-serve soft drink machine for refills, unfortunately. The Big Mac was not so big, about 25% smaller than I remember them. Granted I rarely patronize McD's, so it's been a while. I blame the current inflationary economy for the burger shrinkage. The french fries were tasteless, pasty, over salted and not at all warm. No ketchup was included with them, a mortal sin. No napkins were included either. I had to go back up to the counter to request napkins and ketchup. It could have been a much better visit, but it wasn't. Will drive by next time. read more

We have visited this McDonald's about once a month for several months. It has gone down hill the past few visits. The staff is friendly when delivering food. The order is correct and hot. The lack of cleanliness is a big problem. On our most recent visit there wasn't a clean table. The staff collected trays but never wiped a table or cleaned the floor. Hands down the best McDonald's I've been to ever. Consistently so! The fries are ALWAYS perfectly crispy, hot, and with the right amount of salt. I decided to write a review today because on top of consistently providing high quality McDonalds, the manager made a special exception for me that made my day! If you know yo know - he allowed me to have the spicy deluxe sauce on my regular mcchickens! Game changer right there. Excuse the photo as I had to take a bite lol. About time. The family is so happy it's finally here. So convenient to have a nice place to get something to eat from 6am to 10pm! Congratulations MCDs you beat the Vons, the Taco Bell, and the new Corner Skillet. (I guess?) All joking aside it is nice to have something like this in VC. As a long time VC Resident it will really come in handy not to have to go through a drive through down the hill after dark next to a homeless encampment. And bring the food home Hot! I have been through this stores drive through for breakfast 3 times since it opened and all three times my order was messed up. I shouldn't have to back track to McDonald's to get the hash brown or burrito I was shorted or to get the diet coke I wanted instead of the coke I was given. The store itself is nice and clean, brand new, and the staff seems friendly and eager to correct my order. Hopefully with time these bugs will be ironed out. Fingers crossed. read more
