I'm really disappointed with this Burger King location. I ordered a kids meal and they completely forgot the cheeseburger, it literally came with just fries, applesauce, juice and the toy. On top of that, the fries were so salty they were basically inedible. This isn't a one-time issue either. The last few times we've come here, the food quality has been off and the service hasn't been great. Staff are usually rude and rush us through the drive-thru, then tell us to pull forward and wait anyway. I understand fast food can get busy, but consistently missing items and serving poor-quality food is frustrating, especially when you're ordering for kids. I went in to the store #1936 when there were no customers in the store. I needed help at the Kiosk and three employees were chatting and ignoring me. The drive up window employee was busy but also ignored my presence at the counter for five minutes. I figured out the Kiosk and I finally get my food. The tacos were greasy and the meat tasted like mush. My brisket burger barely had any meat except for the hamburger. A warning to anyone using a direct-mail Burger King coupon at this location. Because - boy, oh, boy - will you ever pay a price if you fail to read and follow the instructions in the fine print. I ordered three small Whopper combinations through the drive-thru without saying we had a coupon, which it turns out is stated must in the coupon's tiny print. (I need a glasses to read fine print.) Let it be clear, nowhere on the drive-thru menu are there instructions for coupon use. I tooled up to the drive-thru window, where I presented a two-for-one direct-mail Whopper combo coupon and my debit card to the cashier. The cashier took the coupon, put it through the slit in the cash drawer and charged full price, $31, to my card. Bemused, I asked why the cashier hadn't applied the coupon to the total. The cashier said that because I had failed to follow the instructions in the fine print, I would be required to pay full price. Since he had taken the coupon and put it in the register, there was no way for me to confirm any of what was said. Two questions came immediately to mind: (1) Why did the cashier accept the coupon, look at it, and put it in the drawer without letting on that the $10 discount would not be applied? (2) Is it possible for a Burger King employee to collect a coupon, refuse to honor it, charge full price, but then re-ring the transaction later and pocket the $10 difference. Anyway, I asked if I could please speak to the manager. I listening dubiously to the same lecture about failing to follow the instructions in the fine print and therefore having to pay full price. After some discussion, I persuaded the manager to keep the combos and refund my $31. I drove straightaway to a different Burger King location to place the same order, but this time successfully with the coupon's 2-for-1 discount applied for a $10 savings. read more

The tacos were fresh & tasty, but the burgers were all wrong. No dbl, no cheese. I drove back 18 miles, so 36 round trip to get the mistake corrected. Not only did they offer me nothing for my inconvenience & long drive for their mistake, when they brought out the replacement, it was wrong, AGAIN. If I could give this Burger King a 0 I would. I went through the drive thru and ordered chicken nuggets. Now I always order them fresh or cooked to order because this location is known for serving only and cold food. I asked to make sure it was fresh because I have also ordered fresh before and I get them cold. I get the window and the nice girl hands me the bag... I ask her .. "These are fresh right?" She says ... um let me just make sure .. she then tells me that they will make a fresh batch if I can pull forward in front of the doors, so I do. About another 7 minutes go by and they come out of the front door to hand me the bag.. I open it only to find that the chicken nuggets are hard as rocks and dry. I get out of my car and walk inside and let them know that these nuggets are not fresh but they have been refried instead , making them so hard they are inedible. Then the managers supposedly her name was Maria.. she had dark hair in a bun about 38 years old 5'3 with this weird shade colored eyebrows almost like faded pink ink color comes out of nowhere and says so what's wrong. I explain to her the situation and she's reply's .. okay so we'll just make them right now.. with this cut dry demeanor, bad attitude already, no apology , no customer service whatsoever. Mind you I have already been there about 25+ minutes waiting in the drive thru, paying and waiting out front for them to actually make them fresh only to have to go inside anyway because they were lazily refried instead. I said okay well is there anything you can do for the inconvenience now I will have to wait another 5-7 minutes for you to actually make them fresh again ... Manager says well NO... it wasn't my fault the cook as she points to her poor employee behind the grill is the one who refried it .. it's not my fault. I said well are you not the manager? It's your responsibility to manage your staff, and take care of your customers. As this woman continues to throw her staff under the bus she starts getting aggressive and starts yelling at me across the counter in front of everyone.. she becomes seeming unhinged as I tell her that she needs to pipe down, and I will not allow her to speak to me that way. Her staff begins to try and calm her down as this ignorant aggressive woman continues to go on. Her staff apologize for her and I begin to speak with the nice older lady trying to apologize for her managers actions. The manager comes back and I tell her to shut up, that she had her chance and I want no interaction with her further. Her staff continued to try and get her under control they found a way to give me refund and my fresh chicken nuggets as I was walking out the door. I said I was okay with that but after leaving the restaurant and opening it up I saw it was just a double patty bacon cheese burger. They shouldn't charge full price for a Garlic and Bacon King and they should take the initiative to tell you that it's a double patty cheese burger with bacon because that would be a separate menu item that they shouldn't charge the full price of a Garlic Bacon King for. Also, this is actually exploitable because all the ingredients in a double patty cheese burger with bacon can be used in their other menu items so they can just "run out of garlic" and charge full price for the Garlic Bacon King while still having all the burger components for other menu items and rip off their customers. read more

I never went to a Burger King fast food. For nostalgic reasons my wife and son saw the .37 whopper deal today and twisted my arm to download their rewards app and go through signing up and getting a code for the deal. My wife and son did the same on their phone. It was a laborious process just to get a .37 cent burger but I just join in on the nostalgia and fun. We had the codes on each of our phones. We drove to the Burger King that was closed to us in Escondido CA. There was a long wait too. When we got to our turn, we were asked for our codes and was told they were invalid. We tried to refresh but each time it said it was invalid. This was even in the presence of the person tending us. Long story short, they did not accept the code and we were unable to get our deal and left empty handed and disappointed. They didn't even care to offer the deal price and just said we can get the burger at the regular price. She was rude too. So we left and I told myself that it was a waste of time and to never entertain such promo again, let alone ever come in to a Burger King. Those promo and rewards they provide are shams to get you to visit their chain. That's not going happen to me again. Shame on me once doing it but not again. Don't get their app and think you are going to get rewards deal. Forget it. Here is a screenshot of one of the promo code that they said was invalid even after refreshing it in front of the employee.
